We open to see Wade Moor making his way through the corridors of the Maurice Richard arena following the ending of last weeks Slam. As he is heading toward the #BeachKrew locker room he pauses for a moment, quickly checking behind him as if he is looking for someone...or something. His movements start to become more errant as he approaches the door before stopping in his tracks for a moment realising that the door is already ajar. He takes a deep breath before slowly pushing the door open with his foot and steps forward into the doorway.
What he sees seems to stop him cold, then enters the room as if drawn by a gravitational force.
Wade: You...
A muffled almost robotic voice is heard.
Voice: Me.
The door swings back shut and we watch for a few seconds until the most chilling of sights. From under the door frame slowly trickles a river of blood. The door opens once more as a hooded figure steps from within and raises their face toward the cam-
*BZZZT CRCKKKKKK*
Ladies and gentlemen my Earth Child Wade was viciously, remorselessly attacked this Sunday causing severe cranial damage and the doctors have told us there is only a fifty/fifty chance of survival let alone for him to compete again.
I have had all my contacts assess the footage and we cannot determine a thing about the assailant. A thorough investigation is going to take place, I promise you one thing...
