via WCF.com Posted on Apr 18th, 2016 @ 8:40PMJayson Price after winning the WCF World Title at WCF's Fifteen PPV in January of 2016 The unimaginable and often joked about has officially happened: Former WCF World Champion Jayson Price has checked into rehab for drug and alcohol dependency, sex addiction and anger management. Price had originally announced that he would be going on a sabbatical from WCF on March 6th, however he was interrupted by WCF Owner Seth Lerch and forced into a Philadelphia Street Fight against Lerch at Slam 350. After coming out of the bout victorious, some questioned whether or not Price's intentions to seek professional help were still real. Now it would appear as though he was genuine in wanting to better himself. After speaking out to some of Price's close friends, we've learned that he spent the last week saying his goodbyes and making his amends to some of those that he's wronged in the past, including former WCF announcer Shannan Lerch and WCF interviewer Hank Brown. At this time we have no information on what facility Price has checked himself into, we simply know that he took a cab from his home in South Philadelphia to the airport late last night. Also at this time is the question of whether or not Price will remain the host and lead announcer of XIII: London, which takes place a little over 3 weeks from now. We've reached out to Corey Black, the creator of XIII and the host of XIII: Minneapolis, and he assured us that Price would in fact be hosting XIII: London, adding "I will drag him to London myself with a machete at his throat". Whatever the future does in fact hold, we here at WCF.com wish Jayson Price the best in his efforts to overcome his many vices and hope to see in back in a WCF ring someday.

I like everyone, Corey =) you know that. Besides, what would disliking him really achieve? You get so much more out of people with a smile =)

Corey, you're my trainer and I love you, but if you're threatening me simply because I am supporting a co-worker... then I do not know what to think or say. Jayson should be encouraged to seek the help he needs, being negative towards him would not and will not achieve a thing.

Ah, sorry I misunderstood you, Coach. But, I don't think you have anything to worry about =) I highly doubt Jayson will be breaking my arm from within his facility.
