During a late night, Mike Ragnal is sitting on a couch inside a well furnished apartment, different from his own house. With a remote in hand, he flips through the channels until finally he sets it down, satisfied with the channel he’s set it on. After a few seconds, he chuckles.
“Haha, that Dr. Cox and his calling people by girl’s names.”
A little while later, Sasha Pehl sits next to him, grabbing onto her stomach. She plants a kiss on Mike’s cheek.
“How are you, hon?” She asked.
“I’m fine. Just a little tired from working in the gym.”
“Well, that figures. “ She chuckles at him, and he does the same.
“Hey, listen, I’ve got a big weekend coming up. Reckless Jack at Timebomb in the FUN House match. Now how cool is that?”
“It’s incredible, that’s what it is. Surely you’re both going to put on a hell of a main event.”
“Indeed we are.” He stands up, and goes over to the fridge for a soda. “Hey, Sash, do you want any ice cream while I’m over here?”
“How about some vanilla?”
“Not a problem.” He grabs a can of Coca-Cola and a small tub of ice cream, and then searches the cabinets for a bowl. “You know what? I’m surprised how long I’ve held the World title for five months? I didn’t think I’d have it-“
“Don’t worry about a bowl.”
“Got it,” he said, closing the cabinet door and going for a spoon. He walks back over to the couch, and hands the ice cream to Sasha. “But like I was saying, I never thought I was going to hold the WCF World title for so long.”
“You should consider yourself lucky.” Sasha says with a wink, then scooping a spoon of ice cream to eat.”
“You know, you were right about me winning. If I hadn’t, who knows what would have happened?”
“Well, for one thing, you may never have won the Television title from Bobby Cairo.”
Mike smiled before he takes a sip of his drink, then sighing of satisfaction. “Not only that…but we wouldn’t be able to bring in a new life into this world.”
“Mhm,” Sasha agreed, rubbing her chubby belly. “Just think…a few more months, and she’ll be born…”
Mike then places his own hand on her stomach, imagining what it would be like to become a dad. His only thoughts are simple.
“…wow…”
“Elizabeth Jane Ragnal…”
“It’s perfect.”
Sasha then leans into Ragnal, nuzzling her head against his neck. “You want to know something?” He asks.
“What’s that, luv?”
“…Sasha Pehl-Ragnal…I’m so happy you became my wife.”
The two life partners then look deeply into one another’s eyes, and smile.
“Thank you,” iss her answer.
And then they kiss…
One Year Earlier…
Mike Ragnal was backstage in his locker room, just getting his t-shirt over his head, and pulling it down over his torso. His girlfriend, Sasha Pehl, watched him, licking her lips as she watched. “Admit it, girl, you’re loving this.” He joked, flexing his muscles.
“Of course, luv. You know I enjoy these meaty guns.” She said, pressing into his arms.
Both of them have a hearty laugh, and then look deeply into each others eyes, smiling.
“I love you.” He told her.
“I know you do.” She replied, giving the Master of Elemental Disaster a peck on the cheek. “Now come on. You have a match to win.”
“Relax, Sasha.” He said, as he offered his arm to his Australian girl. “The future waits for nobody.”
Sasha laughed, and then took his arm, and the couple walk towards the cheering crowd, who awaited their new Television Champion.
