There is no greater feeling then getting your World Title Shot. This, this alone means you are worthy to be in the spotlight, to be noticed and respected. The only feeling of this greatness can be superseded by winning the World Title. For the first time this is the feeling of King Kong on a coke rush. Then you lose it, then you regain it. To win it a second time tells everyone you are not a fluke, that you deserve to be called the best. Though this, this is not about winning the World title for first time, or even a second time. This is about winning a third time. Only few have won the title three times, and only one has ever won it four times. The outcome of Slams main event will thrust Team NCW to the top, and bring WCF one step closer to destruction.
*The scene opens to a Graveyard. Four graves are conspicuously aligned with one another. Outcast enters the from the left wearing a black trench coat. He is holding a lit candle. He sticks it into the ground next to the first grave.*
Outcast: For Hope.
*Outcast pulls out an unlit candle of same fashion, he then shoves it in the ground next to the second grave, then pulls out a lighter and lights the wick.*
Outcast: For Despair.
* Outcast yet again pulls out an unlit candle, and follows the same process.*
Outcast: For Desperation.
*Outcast repeats the process for the last grave.*
Outcast: For Redemption.
*Outcast sighs and slowly steps back to see all the graves and their dimly lit Tombstones. The camera zooms onto the first tombstone, which says Jack of Blades.*
Outcast: I lit this candle in memory of ''Hope.'' Hope is...comforting. It allows us too accept tragedy with out even knowing. Jack of Blades is all about...hope. He had hope with his then tag team partner,Logan. He had hope...going in to Thirteen. Now, he clings on to hope going into Slam. Jack, at Thirteen you saw the Man himself, you encountered the NCW Creator, ''The Ultimate'' Steve Carr..in all his NCW glory. You fell to his feet...how did it feel? Wasn't it a great experience? At Thirteen you were blessed. You're title was not on the line, you really had nothing to lose...or so you thought. Though Jack, you did lose something didn't you? But in the same aspect you gained something as well. Equivilant Exchange. A beautiful thing. In order to gain one must lose. What you lost was...pride. Pride can be a dangerous thing and you should be very happy to have lost it. Now I know you are wondering, how did I lose pride? You were pinned by Merc. Now Merc,as wonderful and talented of a wrestler as he is, is still a little wet behind the ears here. He defeated the WCF Champion, Jack. Now, in losing pride you gained respect. You now have a grand deal of respect for NCW. A member of Team NCW pinned you, defeated the man Logan couldn't. NCW triumphed over the WCF Champion. Now at Slam, your hope will end. Jack, think of it, who else is capable of taking that title from you? Logan couldn't, Creeping Death couldn't, but I can. I can relieve you of your duties. You have been lacking a bit. At Slam your hope will be crushed by Team NCW. You're hope will cease to be, along with your title reign. This match has been in the making, I just wish we could of had a storied feud. It seems wrong to deprive the fans of a dream feud. Though at least we can give them a dream match. The new ideals and lies of the present come face to face with the traditions and respect of the past. Jack, I anxiously await our match on Slam. I anxiously await to deprive you of your...hope.
*Outcast leans to the candle, and blows it out. The Tombstone fades into the shadows. He looks at the second one. The camera zooms in at the tombstone says Logan.*
Outcast: This candle is lit for...despair. Logan is the true essence of despair. He has been debunked, as of late. Logan, let me say something. Me and you, with out a doubt, have the most storied feud in WCF. Has their ever been a WCF that hasn't featured Logan vs. Outcast? No. Now, I know me and you haven't seen each other in the ring as of late, but at Payback we will. Do you know who one of the nine other men are? It's me. Logan, you have to get through me to get your title shot. Logan I am going to say one thing: No chance in hell. You see if by some divine miracle Blades leaves Slam with that title in tact, I fully plan on getting another shot at it. I may have never been in an Euthanasia match, but it sounds...fun. I feel my old, sick ways coming back. Weapons, nooses, electrocution...beautiful. Logan I await our fated meeting at Payback.
*Outcast leans in and blows out the candle. The focus turns on the third tombstone, which says Creeping Death.*
Outcast:Desperation is our next honored emotion, and who else to embody it then the Human Horror Show, Creeping Death. Creeping Death what you did was treason. Was it an act of desperation? You attacked your NCW brother. How could you turn on NCW? What I am trying to do is a wonderful thing, and you would rather back WCF? I thought, of all the people, YOU would understand. I guess you are desperate to get back into the main event. After the feel experiment that is MCE I can not truly blame you. Though you are doing it all wrong. You attacked me, the leader of Team NCW, the People's Champion. Creeping Death if you are so anxious to attack me than be a man, and do it head on. If you are so desperate for attention to earn it. I was truly sorry you couldn't defeat Jack to get the title, so I guess I will have to clean up your mistake. Creeping Death I will see you at Payback, though until then do yourself a favor and stay with your MCE, and let Team NCW do what it was destined to do.
*Outcast blows out the candle, and the lonely fourth tombstone is left. The name says Seth Lerch.*
Outcast: Almost an oxymoron. This is not a feeling, or emotion..but a statement. Redemption. Seth, it is truly time for it. It is truly time to redeem yourself. Giving me my shot that has been long over due is a good start, then main eventing me at Payback is a wonderful follow. Though it is not enough. Seth it is time for you to step down to Steve Carr. It is time to take down the WCF banner and put up the NCW one. To let Steve breathe life into NCW once more. You're time, much like Blades, Logans, and CDs, is over. Consider it, before we take it by force.
*Outcast blows out the final candle, as everything fades.*
