(FOR THIS TOO MAKE ANY SENSE YOU HAVE TO READ THE PREVIOUS RP OR AT LEAST THE FIRST PARAGRAPH)
The following video is supposed to be an advertisement for WCF Supercards, it was posted to WCF.com, make of it what you will...
A hat sits on a table in the centre of the shot, off to one side you can see a pair of bare feet sitting apart and just about visible in front leaning on the low table is the brown handle of a golf umbrella and a fur coat hanging on a stand behind it. After a few seconds a loud click can be heard followed by Andrew Marx English accent exclaiming fuck! Then laughing out loud as the camera turns to find him lighting a joint and rolling the sleeve of his arm up revealing a
Crew guy (also laughing): What happened?
Marx turns and points his hand at the camera lens which reveals a red light emanating from an LED upon his wrist that glares off the glass
Marx: Fuckin loading mechanism failed hold upon firing the target mechanism worked perfectly though
He says with a smile as he reaches forward into the flat cap and picking out a pin and placing it between his teeth talking with it in his mouth
Marx: See this pin is meant to have a card slid in between a small space cut down the middle of the point the pin weights the card and propels it towards the target exactly where the red light sits hitting it the target every time. I based the firing mechanism on spiderman's web shooter
He lifts up the flat off his palm to reveal a button just below his forefinger so when he flicks his wrist it looks like he is throwing cards like a pro
Marx: I use a small cO2 cannister and the pressure is sensitive to the pressure from the trigger meaning I can control the velocity of the card cool huh?
Crew guy: If it works
He slides off a device made of cast iron and different clockwork parts examining it, pulling a screwdriver set from below his seat and fiddling around with the mechanism
Marx: It will work, are you filming this?
Crew Guy: Yeah we can get a little bit of backstage footage something nice for youtube yah know
Marx: Fair enough let me use this time to send a message to my opponent then
He places his small rimmed glasses on the bridge of his nose and haunches over the card launcher using what looks like an old tech deck finger skateboard screwdriver tightening things up and test everything again, he takes a toke of the joint hanging from his lips and puts it in an ashtray on the table
Marx: See CJ I am a mechanic, I am obsessed with clocks and cogs, wheels and pendulums, so much of it is akin to the way the human body works, the way joints can be put together and manipulated in certain ways that will help them to run smooth or in ways that will make them snap in 2 and we all know what happens to the machine if even the smallest part of it breaks. It becomes vulnerable to failure. What would happen CJ?
He places a card into a pin and slots it into the launcher pressing the butting and watching it dart across the room into the folds of his coat
Marx: What would where to happen if before the bell rang when you are jawing with the fans or psyching yourself up or something if I was to superkick you right in the knee or chop block you right in the hamstring? Answer? A part of you would bend and break, I know all the ways your body is not meant to bend CJ and I know exactly how much bending it will take to break those bits and for most of them it isn't a lot
He slides the mech back on his arm and flicks his hand without pushing the trigger showing a card load into the pin
Marx: There we go thats a good start, CJ I also know how to manipulate my own joints, you think you know body control because you can do some fancy twisty shit in mid air, but I know true body control, I know how to wrap your legs in mine in ways Ric Flair never dreamed about. I know how to hurt you in ways you can't even fathom
He pushes the card back into the pack held in a holster just below the ditch of his elbow and does the whole thing in one fluid motion flicking his wrist so the card shoots down his arm into the pin and pushing the trigger with no wasted motion sending the card flying into the hat at break neck speed
Crew Guy: Wow! Well it works now
Marx: Yup
He slides his sleeve down and does it the motion again firing another card this time slower so it floats to its destination and he slumps back into the chair putting his feet up smiling into the camera
Marx: CJ I am an inventor, an inventor of cool things, cool ways to hurt you, cool ways to throw cards, cool ways to break your mind in 2, I heard you talking about mind games, you have never even played my kinda games mate, I dunno about your mind bit it's your fingers I am out to break, ready?
Crew Guy: Yeah count to 20 in your head to let me reset then fire away
The camera turns back to the position we found it in as a hat sits on a table in the centre of the shot, off to one side you can see a pair of bare feet sitting apart and just about visible in front leaning on the low table is the brown handle of a golf umbrella and a fur coat hanging on a stand behind it. After a few seconds a playing card is spun across the room landing perfectly in the centre of the old flat cap, as the camera zooms and focuses it is seen to be rules card for the upcoming WCF Supercard game. A blow torch lighter can be heard and the sound of burning paper followed by a long exhale, ice can be heard chinking in a glass and finally a voice follows another card, Greybeards card, as it slowly floats into the hat
Marx: WCF is a company where some weird people reside...
