Following on from recent allogations that Oblivion was not who he claimed to be, WCF looked into the matter only to discover that the Oblivion we saw Sunday night on Slam was indeed an imposter.
Oblivion, the man best known for dancing the nae nae, was pronounced dead in January after a brutal match with now Hardcore Champion, Katherine Phoenix. However suspicions were raised when despite his death, Oblivion, or who we believed to be Oblivion, started making appearances calling out Katherine Phoenix.
After an ongoing investigation WCF can reveal that the man behind the mask was nonother than Adam Young trying to revitalize his career. As such the original Hardcore match which was booked for this Sundays Explosion Pay-Per-View has been cancelled.
WCF reached out to Katherine Phoenix for her thoughts on this situation;
Katherine: "I knew that he wasn't the real Obi. He was too small for a start... and now they're telling me that it was just Adam Young hiding behind a mask playing dress up? Listen... I don't care if it was Adam Young, I want this match to happen this Sunday. I just don't want him pretending to be my deceased friend is all".
Katherine Phoenix, being the fighting champion that she is, is now trying to push for a match with WCF Legend, Adam Young and we hope that she is given what she wants.
