Welcome ladies and gentlemen to Skybox Sports! I'm your host, Zack Foles, and this is a broadcast that evolved from a simple sports news site, so hopefully you will tune in for many episodes to come. A lot has happened in the WCF over the past week, so here's a highlight on some of the big stories.
"Anti-bullying campaign"
Well, it appears that the WCF has started an anti-bullying campaign. The focus is to make the WCF a more friendly and less hostile environment for it's workers. This comes after months and even years of instances where some WCF wrestlers would harass and relentlessly bully others. Thankfully, this campaign has made things more pleasant as hostility has been on a decline and...*speaking to corespondent Noah* what? It's been on an incline? Really? Still!? Okay then.*end* Sorry about that. It appears that the bullying continues and that the roster has somehow managed to get even more hostile. *speaking to Noah* You sure it's gotten worse? Oh you have proof? Well bring it over. .......... Wow. Okay then. *end*
"Katty goes batty"
A few days ago, Katherine Phoenix was at a house show in Houston when she broke down in tears after being wildly booed by fans. She was on her way to heading up the ramp when a fan with an Andre Holmes shirt caught her attention. Kat snapped and brutally assaulted the woman, causing her to be rushed to a nearby hospital. Many fans are wondering if the woman was in on it as a plant to give Kat more heat, or if Katherine really went off the deep end and committed assault. Afterwards, Kat appeared to have a dazed look on her face as if she had no idea what just happened. Regardless of how believable, or unbelivable, her reaction is, it's still a scary situation for the company, especially if a lawsuit gets involved.
"Phoenix vs Psycho"
Last night, firefighters responded to a fire in an abandoned restaurant in San Diego, California. Our traveling reporter, Emma Tacktheratrix, is live in San Diego with more detail.
Emma: Well Zack, the firefighters that were on scene spotted CJ Phoenix assaulting a man with a baseball bat labeled "Home Run". The victim of the assault has been identified as David Malice, a 27 year old man who was released from a mental asylum just two months ago. It turns out that Malice intentionally crashed his vehicle into the vehicle of CJ's girlfriend, Kaiyah Hardison and assaulted her in an Applebee's parking lot in Las Vegas a few weeks back before driving away and committing four more assaults en route to San Diego. We'll bring you more details if anything else comes up. For Skybox Sports, I'm Emma Tacktheratrix. Back to you, Zack.
Thanks Emma. Though it's great to see vigilante justice being served, I'm still concerned about Phoenix's "Home Run" bat. One can only hope that he doesn't get his hands on a turtle shell and paints it blue. Speaking of Blue...
"TMZ vs Holmes and Blue?"
TMZ has taken many shots at Andre Holmes and Bonnie Blue over the last few days. They have stated that the two are sexist bullies. Neither Holmes nor Blue took kindly to this, and even began firing back at TMZ, claiming that they are nothing more than a fraud created by Katherine Phoenix. This especially after Joey Flash made a sexist remark during an argument between Holmes and TMZ, to which TMZ hypocritically defended the World Champion before taking more shots. They have even gone as far as to drag Dag Riddik into the mix, interviewing him on his thoughts about Blue and Holmes, which were less that generous to say the least. I'm kinda looking forward to what fresh hell the next chapter between these two sides will bring. I'm pretty sure it'll be a smooth reminder that we should "Be smart, Don't start".
The Injury Report
On the 3/6 edition of Slam, K.L. Henson stated that fellow WCF competitor Mr. Holden has passed away. Truly, it's a terrible thing when someone dies, but I'm sure Holden's counting sheep somewhere. Because of this, Henson has vengefully challenged Grayson Pierce to a match on Slam this Sunday. Ohhhh the sparks shall fly.
DeMarcus Jordan is recovering from his knee surgery after the vicious assault he took. Also, the damage he suffered to his skull at the hands of Johnny Rabid was "minimal". I'm sure he'll be coming back to open arms on one side and incoming fists on the other. Regardless, we wish him a speedy recovery and return to the WCF.
Finally, Oblivion made his shocking return on the 3/6 edition of Slam, and maaaaannnnnn he is pissed! After a brutal Hardcore Championship match between Kat Phoenix and ZMAC that made every man watching the match cringe when Kat used a kendo stick to try to put ZMAC through reverse puberty, our eardrums nearly committed suicide after hearing Oblivion loudly, very loudly, call out Phoenix. It's clear that he wants both the Hardcore Championship and revenge on Kat, and now he may have a chance to do both.
So what have we learned here today? The anti-bullying campaign has made about as much progress as a thief trying to escape the cops by running on a treadmill. Seriously though, bullying is wrong. It's nothing more than an insecure person or group of people that don't want to build themselves up, so they try to bring everyone else down. Remember(and I use this a lot OOC ever since I thought of it), the only people that want to bring you down are the ones already below you. I'm Zack Foles, and this has been the pilot episode of Skybox Sports. See you next time.
