The WCF Galaxy was stunned on Sunday when, in response to a vicious attack by his supposed tag team partner, Teo del Sol demanded that Wednesday Night's People's Title match be made into a Scaffold Match! The rarely seen match type has often been cited as too dangerous or too complicated to be seen on a regular basis, but is known for its brutality and its career-threatening nature.
Though multiple variations exist, WCF.com has gotten exclusive insider info on how the match will be carried out on this week's edition of WCF Wednesday Night!
The specially made structure will consist of a reinforced scaffold 16 feet over the ring , with ramps on either side leading to the ringside area. Both men will begin the match inside the ring, and each competitor's goal will be to maneuver his opponent out of the ring and up the ramp, at which point the first man to be thrown from the scaffold into the ring will be declared the loser.
There will be no disqualifications and no count-outs, although the use of foreign objects is discouraged. In the event that one of the men falls from the ramp to the concrete, the match will continue. The ONLY way to be declared the winner is to throw your opponent from the scaffold into the ring. In the event that someone is thrown from the scaffold to the concrete below, the match will be declared a no-contest and the injured party will receive immediate medical attention. Ringside medical personnel will be posted and ready in the event of such an emergency.
General Manager Freddy Whoa seemed extremely hesitant to sign off on such a brutal match, citing that the responsibility for ending either man's career is not something that he wanted a hand in. As a result, both Teo and Marx have been forced to sign waivers absolving WCF of any responsibility in the event of serious injury or even death.
The clock is ticking, and soon both men will put their careers on the line as the People's Championship is decided! Tune in Wednesday Night, you're not going to want to miss this one!
