~**~The scene opens up at the hospital as Rich “The Xtreme One” Marciano is sitting in the waiting room for TVO and Carter and Chuck are waiting on Boone. Rich wipes away some tears as he begins to speak.~**~
Rich “The Xtreme One” Marciano- Doctor said TVO couldn’t wrestle this week…and could possibly never wrestle again. Looks like I’m after Killswitch alone…and there goes Team Xtreme. How’s Davey?
“Sweet” Willy Carter- Better, much better. He woke up early this morning and actually spoke to his son which really cheered him up. It was a wonderful sight to see that’s for sure. Doctor said he may be able to get out early Sunday at the very latest. We hope he wrestles again….
Rich “The Xtreme One” Marciano- I want to thank you guys for sticking this out with me and believing in me, but looks like all hope is lost for me to become the tag team champions again. I probably shouldn’t even show up this Sunday….
Chuck Watson- Are you kidding me Rich? You have the element of EXTREME on your side, you are a former nCw World Heavy Weight Champion! You are a 1 time WCF Tag Team Champion…you can do it! Have some faith brotha, it’ll all work out and I’m sure somebody will step up come this Sunday and fill the spot. It’ll be somebody you least expect, and if not then so what! You haven’t been here as long as Davey Boone and got a World Title shot and took Striker to his limits, so why would you not be able to take on the loser tag team of Jay Williams and Spike Kane alone?
Rich “The Xtreme One” Marciano- You mean aside from the fact that there are 2 of them and 1 of me? Maybe you are right though, I can do this!
“Sweet” Willy Carter- And what would The Violent One want you to do? Sit around here while there are tag team titles to be won and worry about him? Heck no man, you should get off your butt and prepare yourself for the fight of your life! You walk in Rich “The Xtreme One” Marciano and you come out a bigger man than when you went in!
Rich “The Xtreme One” Marciano- You guys are right! Screw this! I’ve got a match to prepare for, will you guys keep tabs on Boone and TVO for me?
Chuck Watson- No problem, you go get ‘em champ!
~**~Rich leaves the hospital after shaking the hands of Chuck and Carter. After he leaves Carter begins to laugh.~**~
“Sweet” Willy Carter- So do you really think he’s got a chance in the steel cage alone?
Chuck Watson- About as much of a chance as Boone has of being able to walk out of here on his own Sunday! *Chuck shakes his head in disgust.* God be with him….God be with him!
