I just want to hear everyone's opinion on this, as I believe it will quickly come to be seen as an integral part in establishing the Vulgar mythos. Yeah, ostensibly it has nothing to do with my main character, but I think readers can extrapolate that the events of the RP either take place somewhere else in the WCF Universe or perhaps even inside Vulgar's mind. Personally, my favorite part about the story is the air of mystery I built around Bort Crutches; you have no idea what his motivations are or what he intends to do to Fred Foswell. A little bit of intrigue can go a long way... That's an old axiom I definitely think a lot of writers and filmmakers nowadays have forgotten.
