Via WCF.com WCF.com today got to speak to People's Champion Teo del Sol, who won the belt at last year's XIII. The champion revealed that he had comissioned a new design for the People's Championship. "The idea struck me leading up to Fifteen. The People's Championship has long been one of the most sought after belts in WCF, and represents a tremendous legacy. I wanted to make sure that the original belt was defended against the first champion, but in the event I won, I wanted something to symbolize what I feel is a turning point in the division. My match with Andre Holmes only reinforced what I had felt, that there was a change in the air, that a new generation of superstars are all trying to fight for the championship that has carried such a legacy with it. Well, the best way I could think of to honor this new movement is to create a new design. That is why I took it upon myself to comission a brand new design for the People's title, and I tried to include parts of the old design and a new design entirely. The outside plates can be changed out, a very modern belt design, and I decided to demonstrate this with a side plate dedicated to the Lucha Libre style that brought me to the top of the mountain. The center plate though? That represents the voice of the People, represents the idea that I believe in more than anything else in the WCF. That one soundwave, that one united cry that will not be silenced! That my friend is what I tried to capture with this new design." Without further ado, WCF.com is proud to be the first to reveal the new design for the WCF People's Championship!

OOC: SOOOO upon reflection, I decided that including personalized side plates was kind of egotistical of me lol. I don't need my face plastered on the belt, and my honest goal when working on this was to create a People's Title that People might want to keep using. Not that I have anything against the old design of course! I wanted to incorporate it into this thing! Also I cleaned up some thing and added some slight variations to improve the overall look. But at any rate: Please put your hands together for the updated- non-personalized and resized People's title. (Or Boo it, I'm flexible!)

(OOC) Keep the above design, but place that wcf logo back in the centre. That's perfect. Awesome job, Teo!
