A scene shows of Skyler Striker at ten years old, his father laughing at his dreams of Skyler wanting to become a wrestler, and Skyler’s eyes looking as if they could flood at any minute. The clip quickly shows Mr. Striker’s funeral, where Skyler is simply ignoring the proceedings.

A few Index 5 clips show, with Andrew, Scott, Jayden, Skyler and Dylan all putting their hands together to make the pact that would lead them to become wrestlers.
Skyler: In five years, we could all be wrestlers. Can you imagine that?

Another brief scene of before War shows, when Skyler was in the elevator leaving the office building and saw the muscled man and slender woman walk out into the office, the elevator doors closing on them and Skyler trying to peer through the gap but not being able to make them out.

With kerosene and electric sparks
Skyler leaving Shaneyah at the airport at 22 years old is shown, and Jade is crying, her lover and daughter both leaving. Skyler has Jade in his arms and goes through the boarding gate, not looking back, with Andrew, Scott, Dylan and Jayden all beside him. Shaneyah begins weeping but the five are now out of sight, and Jade collapses to the floor, kneeling in tears.

A few shots of Skyler and Cairo fighting are shown from near the end of War, with both countering the other continuously. Skyler’s move, then Cairo’s, both showing and changing one shot per beat of the song.
