WCF fans were in for a shocker this week when it was announced that Benjamin Atreyu would be taking on 2015's Taco Bowl Winner Billy. Billy hasn't been seen on WCF TV since October 27th last year when his former tag team partner, Johnny Rabid, chokeslammed him through a desk.
While taking the time to rehabilitate, word has it that Billy was put through a rigorous training program by WCF Trios Champion and Billy's trainer, Howard Black. Although Billy has yet to be seen on WCF TV since then, those who have had a glimpse at the perennial fan favorite in the last couple of weeks have talked about the physical and mental transformation he has undergone. While we won't have exact numbers until Billy is in the WCF Arena next Wednesday, reports are that he has lost over 50 pounds, putting him under the 450 pound mark.
Although we haven't been able to reach Billy or Howard Black for comment, the rumor mill is that this will be a one-time return to test the waters to see where Billy is at in his training. A full return for the beloved underdog is unfortunately not in sight at this time.
