Hello, I’m Bryan Worthy. You may remember me from such WCF Network exclusive programs as “What’s the Buzz?” and “Worthy of Discussion.” I was also Television Champion for around a week.
But I’m not here to reminisce about my time as WCF interviewer or John Gable’s personal chew toy. The purpose of this broadcast is to make the WCF Galaxy aware of a special, once in a lifetime event that will be taking place next week at the Valentine’s Day edition of Slam: The WCF Dating Game.
The rules of the game are really quite simple. One contestant, our bachelorette, ask a series of romance and wrestling centered questions to a panel of WCF superstars. She will then pick the suitor who seems most compatible to her own interests. In order to prove the maxim that love can be blind, and to make things truly interesting when they meet face to face, there will be a screen separating the bachelorette from her prospective partners.
The winning couple will receive an all-expenses paid night on the town in beautiful Reading, Pennsylvania. Dinner at one of the city’s exclusive three star restaurants. Front row seats to the premier of the Reading Community Theater’s production of “Oblivion! The Musical”. And, to cap off the evening, a romantic five minute helicopter ride around the WCF Tower courtesy of that most munificent of matchmakers, Seth Lerch.
But that’s not the best part, WCF Galaxy. The best part is, that lucky couple? One of half it could be you! The WCF Dating Game is currently seeking candidates to fill both the bachelorette and suitor positions. If interested, go to the WCF Studios website, click on the link that reads “Dating Game Application”, fill it out, and press ‘Send’. Someone on our staff will be in contact with you within 24 hours to let you know if you’ve been accepted.
Looking for that perfect tag team partner this Valentine’s Day? Or maybe just somebody that you can be more than “road buddies” with? Sign up to play The WCF Dating Game!
*Ok, so this is what I had in mind: one person to play the bachelorette (I figured on making the contestant female because most of the roster are hetero males and it seems the women we do have are at the very least bi-curious, so it was the most inclusive choice), and three, at most four people to be the suitors (they can be either gender). The contestant asks some wrestling/dating type questions (I got four in mind, but if the contestant has ideas for some we could use those instead of or in addition to what I came up with) . Each suitor answers the questions, and the bachelorette can comment on each one. Then, she chooses who she wants to win, the suitors gets revealed to the contestant with the winner coming last, we get some kind of closure, and everyone blows a kiss goodbye to the audience. I know the 2/14 show is a while away but I also feel the more time people are given to take part the more likely they are to participate. If you’re interested, feel free to note me through this account or Stuart Slane’s. Also let me know if you have any additional questions. Thanks. *
