Narrator: In an average town, in an average house, an average man has an average family.
[The camera zooms in on a house with a white picket fence, with two children playing basketball in the driveway. An average looking dog is laying down on the grass. It is sunny where they are. They are no longer living in Ottawa, Ontario but rather Tampa, Florida. The camera goes off of the children and goes onto the front door where “Mister Average” is standing in front of. He closes the door and walks out. He then waves to the camera as it zooms in on his face.]
“Mister Average” Lee Roberts: Kids, guess where we are going today?
[The kids stop playing basketball for a moment and then look at their father. They both say that they have no idea where they are going. This is when “Mister Average” Lee Roberts starts to speak in a loud voice so everyone can hear.]
“Mister Average” Lee Roberts: Get ready kids because today we are going to the Tampa fair!
[The two kids cheer with excitement. “Mister Average” Lee Roberts tell them to go into the house and to get ready. “Mister Average” Lee Roberts then goes to his car, unlocks the door, sits down inside and starts the car. Soon the excited kids come out and jump into the car. Lee Roberts’ wife comes out too and jumps into the shotgun position. They back out of the driveway and head down the road out of camera view.]
[The camera view then goes inside the car. The camera goes onto Lee Roberts. He notices the camera and begins to speak.]
“Mister Average” Lee Roberts: Kids, I am going to be gone a lot now that I have my new job at the World Championship Federation. I want to do something big with you guys before I head out and try to provide for you guys. You won’t be seeing me much besides me being on television a lot. I promise you though, I’ll be home for Christmas. That’s the only holiday I can promise that I’ll be there.
[The camera then went onto the road ahead. They drive for what seems like half an hour but it is only about two minutes. They pull up to where the parking lot is. They get out of the car. Lee Roberts locks the doors and they walk together as a family to the ticket booth. There is a huge line up here at the Tampa Fair. It is nice and hot out. Lee Roberts can’t wait to go inside and go on the rides with his family. He can’t wait to spend some quality time with them. He also is thinking ahead to his big match at the Fifteen pay per view. He has a huge match at the pay per view where he will be wrestling for the World Championship Federation International championship. He wants to win that match because winning that match means that he can provide more for his family.]
[After they get their tickets to enter the fair, they walk past the front gate. Lee Roberts and his family stop for a moment to decide where they are going to go first. Lee Roberts and his family decide that they are going to go to the petting zoo. They follow the arrow pointing straight. After walking about five minutes they see that there are some goats and lambs in a pen. As Lee Roberts takes a look at what animals are in the pen, he feels a tap on his back. He turns around and we see a little kid standing there. The little kid asks if he is “Mister Average” Lee Roberts. Lee says that he is indeed him. The kid asks for a picture and Lee takes one with him. The kid wishes him good luck with his match on Sunday.]
[“Mister Average” Lee Roberts goes back to the petting zoo. He then bends down and pets one of the lambs on the back of its head. He then points to a goat that is drooling. It’s a pretty ugly looking goat.]
“Mister Average” Lee Roberts: Hey look, this one is Punkin right here!
[Lee Roberts begins to point and laugh at the ugly goat. He bends down more until he is face to face with the goat.]
“Mister Average” Lee Roberts: Hey Punkin, do you actually think you’re going to walk out of the pay per view with the World Championship Federation International championship? Well guess what, you’re not going to. You don’t stand a chance in hell at winning. Go eat your grass and your oats. You’re going down boy. I am “Mister Average” Lee Roberts. I represent the common man. I represent the people. I am the Man of the people. People look up to me. They see me as one of them and they see that I am the best thing going today. I inspire them to live their dreams and to stand up for themselves. I’ve been wanting to wrestle for a really long time. I’ve been wanting to wrestle since I was a little kid. And at “Fifteen,” I get a chance to do what I’ve wanted to do and that is to win a championship belt. That belt is going to be around my waist. There is no doubt about it. Punkin, you’re a pretty tough guy, but you certainly are not “Mister Average” Lee Roberts. You’re strong, I am stronger. You’re fast and I am faster. You’re going to be really disappointed if you think you’re going to walk out the pay per view with the International championship. Get ready for the fight of your life. Get ready to get punked. Get ready for a real fight because “Mister Average” Lee Roberts is coming for you! I am the king of the people and you’re a goof. I am the best thing going today in wrestling and you will see that at the pay per view this Sunday.
[Lee Roberts and his family spend some more time petting the animals. Lee Roberts takes a moment to look at the pamphlet that they got at the ticket booth showing all the things that were going on that day at the fair. While his two kids start to play tag, as they had enough of the petting zoo, Lee Roberts looked at the pamphlet. He then asks the children if they want to go see the magician. The kids don’t know what a magician is, so he explains that they do sort of tricks. The kids like the sound of that so the family left the petting zoo and headed to where the Magician would be having his show. Lee Roberts checked the time on his cell phone. He then checked the time in the pamphlet. The Magician show was supposed to start at three and it was a quarter to three at the time. They walked to the area and noticed that there was a lot of people there waiting to see the show. Lee Roberts, his wife and his two children waited patiently for the magic show to take place. He noticed the camera was still on him, so “Mister Average” Lee Roberts began to speak.]
Lee Roberts: Well, as you can see, we are waiting for the Magician to show up so we can see some magic tricks. I’m not too sure if my children will understand what is going on but I think that me and the wife will enjoy it. I can’t wait to see the magician make something disappear. I would sure like to make Punkin disappear. He is my biggest concern in the match this Sunday at the pay per view. I am going to beat him so bad that he will wish a Magician made him disappear before his match with me. He may have more wrestling experience than me, but that doesn’t make him better than me. He’s a great wrestler, don’t get me wrong, but he is certainly no “Mister Average” Lee Roberts. Like I said before, I am the very best thing going today. I am the man to beat here in the World Championship Federation. There isn’t any stopping me from me realizing my dream. I want that World Championship Federation International championship belt around my waist. There is nobody who is going to take that belt away from me. I am going to wear it proudly and defend it against all comers. There is no stopping me at all. Punkin, you better realize who you are stepping into the ring with. I am “Mister Average” Lee Roberts and I am the man of the people. Everyone looks up to me and I inspire people to live their dream. I’ve got this one in the bag. You might as well not show up Punkin because if you do show up, you will be in a real war. Take that to the bank and cash it.
[Finally after what seemed like forever, the Magician came and put on a show. He pulled a rabbit out of his hat and did some fancy card tricks. It was quite the show, and even though Lee Roberts’ kids were playing amongst themselves, Lee and his wife had a really good time watching the show. “Mister Average” Lee Roberts and his wife talked for a bit after the show, deciding on what they wanted to do. Lee Roberts suggested that they go bowling. His wife thought that before that they should go to McDonalds to eat. They both agreed that they were finished with this fair. They were getting hungry and the kids were getting restless. Lee Roberts told the kids to stop playing and come with them. They walked out of the fair and to the parking lot where they had parked. His wife got the kids buckled in, in the back and then Lee Roberts hopped in the front while his wife took the shotgun position. They drove out of the parking lot and headed to the McDonalds.]
[The McDonalds was just down the road from where they were. It didn’t take them long to get there. Once they parked the car, they got the kids out of the car. They then walked in. There was a huge line. His wife told him what he wanted and left with the kids so Lee Roberts could order the food. Two little kids didn’t have the patience to wait, so his wife brought the kids to the play area that they had. Finally, Lee Roberts got to order the food. He ordered the food and waited for it to be made. After the food was made he took the tray to the back of the restaurant where the kids were playing. His wife got the kids to the table and everyone ate together as a family.]
“Mister Average” Lee Roberts: Well, I am glad that I am doing this. Spending some quality time with my family before I disappear forever. I’ve been wanting to do more of this. I know McDonalds isn’t the healthiest place to eat, but why not? It’s fun to be with your family. It won’t be long until the kids grow up and not want to go anywhere with their parents. We have to cherish these moments. We have to cherish this time together. I love my family and it’s going to be so hard to leave them. It’s going to be hard to do go on the road and be away. But that’s the life I chose so I have to do it. Can you believe it though? I am walking into my second match and I get a chance at the International championship. That is truly awesome. That is truly great. I am so excited I don’t think I’ll be able to sleep tonight. I am so excited already and it’s not until Sunday. I want you guys to know that I love you. So now let’s eat up and then go back home. I am not really up for bowling. I think that we can do that another time. I want to spend some quality time with my wife.
[“Mister Average” Lee Roberts and his family eat their meal. After they are done, Lee and his wife watch the children play in the play room at the back of the restaurant. After they have played together for a while, Lee Roberts and his wife get the kids out of the play room. It is time to leave and go home. The family hops in the car and Lee Roberts drives off. After driving for about ten minutes they finally reach their house. They go inside.]
[Lee Robert’s wife gets them ready for bed. They have their before bed time snack, which is a bowl of cereal and a glass of orange juice. After they are finished their snack, their mother brings them upstairs and puts them to bed. She reads them a bed time story and then tucks them in. She gives them a kiss on their foreheads and then leaves the room, closing the door behind her. She then walks down the stairs and sits on the black leather couch. “Mister Average” Lee Roberts is already there. He is watching television. Lee and his wife look at each other. Lee’s wife runs her hand through her hair. She then puts one hand on his leg and then leans in and gives Lee Roberts a big kiss on the lips. Lee Roberts looks at her and smiles and then begins to speak.]
Lee Roberts: Baby, I love you. You know how hard it’s going to be without you? You know how hard it’s going to be without you by my side. It’s going to be terrible, but I have to do what I have to do. I will show the wrestling world what I am all about and then once I’ve done everything I can do in the World Championship Federation, I will come back home and retire from pro wrestling. But I am not ready to do that just yet. I just started my career. I just started doing what I love. So you have to trust me on the road. I know it’ll be really really easy for me to cheat on you. I know it’ll be really easy to do that. But know this, I won’t cheat on you. I won’t let you go. You’re my one and only. You’re my lady and always will be. I am going to make you proud when I win the World Championship Federation International championship. You’ll see. You’re going to cry tears of joy. You’ll be so happy for me.
[Lee Roberts gets off the couch and walks to the kitchen. He opens his white fridge and takes out a bottle of water. He screws off the top and then takes a sip of water. He then walks towards the couch again and sits down beside his lovely wife.]
[They talked for a bit about some uninteresting stuff before going to bed. The very next morning “Mister Average” Lee Roberts got up before the rest of his family. While his family was still asleep, he prepared some breakfast for them. Eggs, Sausages, bacon – the works. He plated the food and set it on the table. His family came down the stairs one by one. First it was his daughter. Then it was his son. Lastly it was his wife. They thanked him for making breakfast and chowed down. It was his last day he could spend with his family before the pay per view so he wanted to do something nice for them. After they had ate, he told his family that they were going to go somewhere special. “Mister Average” Lee Roberts said that he’d tell them where they were going after they had got dressed and brushed their teeth.]
[“Mister Average” Lee Roberts spilled the beans. He said that he was going to take them to Grandma’s house. His kids cheered. He told them to jump in the back seat of the car because they would be leaving soon. Lee Roberts and his wife hoped into the car and they took off to Lee Roberts’ mother’s house. Lee Roberts loved his mom and he wanted to see her one last time before he would head off to be a big time wrestler. They drove for about an hour before arriving at her place. They got out of the car and rang the doorbell. A little old lady answered the door. Lee Roberts gave his mom a big hug. She was so happy to see him. They walked inside and sat down in the living room. Lee Robert’s mom had a small television hooked up. It was the same television that Lee Roberts used to watch professional wrestling on. He would sit in this very living room and would watch all the wrestling that he could. There were so many memories in that room.]
[Lee Robert’s mom asked them if they’d like a drink of something. Lee Roberts said that he’d like some water. The kids asked for some orange juice. Grandma walked out of the living room to the kitchen to get some drinks for them. Lee thanked his mom for the water. The kids thanked Grandma for the juice. That’s when Lee Roberts’ mom sat down and started to tell stories about Lee. She said that Lee was always a good kid, that all he cared about was watching professional wrestling. She said that he had always wanted to become a professional wrestler and she knew that one day he’d live his dream and wrestle. She said that Lee was also very good in school and had good grades. She said he was a really well behaved young man. Lee Roberts laughed and thanked her for embarrassing him in front of his wife. Lee Roberts then told his mom that he is going to be wrestling for the World Championship Federation International championship. Lee’s mom said that he was going to win and that she was very happy for him to be able to get a chance at the championship.]
“Mister Average” Lee Roberts: You know what, there is one dude I really respect in this match. His name is Cormack McNeill. This guy is really really talented. He is great in the ring and if I wasn’t in this match, I’d pick him to win the whole thing. He great, he really is but he’s not as good as I am. He can go, that’s for sure, but I can go harder and faster. I am the common man, but that don’t mean I’m not great. He definitely has more experience than me, and that may be a really good advantage. The thing is though is I don’t give up. I don’t quit. I don’t say uncle. You get the idea. Cormack, if you win this thing then I will shake your hand as you would be the better one. With you and I in the ring together, who knows what could happen. It’s going to be a straight up brawl I think between you and I Cormack. I just want you to know that I respect you. I really really do. You’re a fantastic wrestler, I’ve seen you. I’ve studied your matches. The thing that I can promise though Cormack is that I am going to bring it to you. We’re going to see if you can take the heat. I don’t think you can.
[“Mister Average” Lee Roberts gets up and goes to the washroom. He comes back to see his wife and kids sitting there in front of his mother who is sitting on a rocking chair. He sees that his mom is telling a story about him. “Mister Average” Lee Roberts sits down on the green couch and listens in to what his mom is saying.]
Grandma: When Lee was a young man, he really liked this girl that was in his class. To him she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. He had a huge crush on her and would always talk about her. Lee, finally had the courage to ask her out. The girl he liked, Stacy, asked him why she should go out with him. Lee said that he was going to be a professional wrestler one day and he was going to be stinking rich. He told her that he was going to be super famous so she might as well jump on the bandwagon right now. Stacy, the young girl said that she would go out with him if he promised one thing and that was to stop talking about wrestling. Lee said that he couldn’t do that. That was when I knew for sure that Lee Roberts not only wanted to be a professional wrestler but he was going to do it for real. I am so happy for him. I am so happy seeing my big boy grow up and live his dream. I am glad that I am alive to see that. I am going to order the pay per view tonight so I don’t forget. It’s going to be a great match, I can tell. Anyway, what do you guys want for supper?
[Lee Roberts and his family decide that they are going to have lasagna, one of Lee’s favorite meals. Lee always loved the way his mom made the lasagna. He thought it was the very best lasagna that he had ever had. He had tried it at restaurants and diners but it had never been as good as his mother’s. Lee Roberts and his family chowed down on the delicious meal. After that, Lee asked if he could have dessert. His mom asked the kids what they wanted. The kids said that they wanted cookie dough ice cream. Lee’s mom went to the basement to get a tub of ice cream. She came back up and prepared a bowl for everyone, including herself. Lee Roberts was so glad that he was having a great time with his family. He really wanted to hang out with his family before he had to go to work. He wouldn’t be able to go back and forth from Tampa to whatever place the World Championship Federation was in. He had media appearances to go to throughout the week.]
[Lee Roberts and his family said bye to Lee’s mother. Lee’s mother gave them all hugs and pleaded for them to come visit her again. Lee Roberts thanked his mom for having them over for supper. They all piled into the car and drove home. After driving for a while, they reached their house. It was late and Lee Roberts and his wife put his kids to bed. After he put the kids to bed, he and his wife had decided to go to bed. It was late and Lee had to go to the arena early tomorrow so he could get ready for his big match. Lee Roberts gave his wife a kiss and then went to bed. It was his last time he would be in the same bed with his wife for a really long time.]
[The next morning, “Mister Average” Lee Roberts got his stuff packed and headed to the airport. He kissed his wife and children goodbye. His wife wished him good luck and Lee Roberts went to catch his plane. He was going to miss them dearly. He was going to miss them a lot, but he knew what he had to do. He knew what he had to do for his family and himself and that was kick some serious butt at the pay per view. Will “Mister Average” Lee Roberts walk out the pay per view with the World Championship Federation with the International championship? Or will someone else get the strap. We will find out soon!]

After they are finished their snack, their mother brings them upstairs and puts them to bed. She reads them a bed time story and then tucks them in. She gives them a kiss on their foreheads and then leaves the room, closing the door behind her. She then walks down the stairs and sits on the black leather couch. “Mister Average” Lee Roberts is already there. He is watching television. Lee and his wife look at each other. Lee’s wife runs her hand through her hair. She then puts one hand on his leg and then leans in and gives Lee Roberts a big kiss on the lips. Lee Roberts looks at her and smiles and then begins to speak.]
Lee Roberts: Baby, I love you. You know how hard it’s going to be without you? You know how hard it’s going to be without you by my side. It’s going to be terrible, but I have to do what I have to do. I will show the wrestling world what I am all about and then once I’ve done everything I can do in the World Championship Federation, I will come back home and retire from pro wrestling. But I am not ready to do that just yet. I just started my career. I just started doing what I love. So you have to trust me on the road. I know it’ll be really really easy for me to cheat on you. I know it’ll be really easy to do that. But know this, I won’t cheat on you. I won’t let you go. You’re my one and only. You’re my lady and always will be. I am going to make you proud when I win the World Championship Federation International championship. You’ll see. You’re going to cry tears of joy. You’ll be so happy for me.
[Lee Roberts gets off the couch and walks to the kitchen. He opens his white fridge and takes out a bottle of water. He screws off the top and then takes a sip of water. He then walks towards the couch again and sits down beside his lovely wife.]
[They talked for a bit about some uninteresting stuff before going to bed. The very next morning “Mister Average” Lee Roberts got up before the rest of his family. While his family was still asleep, he prepared some breakfast for them. Eggs, Sausages, bacon – the works. He plated the food and set it on the table. His family came down the stairs one by one. First it was his daughter. Then it was his son. Lastly it was his wife. They thanked him for making breakfast and chowed down. It was his last day he could spend with his family before the pay per view so he wanted to do something nice for them. After they had ate, he told his family that they were going to go somewhere special. “Mister Average” Lee Roberts said that he’d tell them where they were going after they had got dressed and brushed their teeth.]
[“Mister Average” Lee Roberts spilled the beans. He said that he was going to take them to Grandma’s house. His kids cheered. He told them to jump in the back seat of the car because they would be leaving soon. Lee Roberts and his wife hoped into the car and they took off to Lee Roberts’ mother’s house. Lee Roberts loved his mom and he wanted to see her one last time before he would head off to be a big time wrestler. They drove for about an hour before arriving at her place. They got out of the car and rang the doorbell. A little old lady answered the door. Lee Roberts gave his mom a big hug. She was so happy to see him. They walked inside and sat down in the living room. Lee Robert’s mom had a small television hooked up. It was the same television that Lee Roberts used to watch professional wrestling on. He would sit in this very living room and would watch all the wrestling that he could. There were so many memories in that room.]
[Lee Robert’s mom asked them if they’d like a drink of something. Lee Roberts said that he’d like some water. The kids asked for some orange juice. Grandma walked out of the living room to the kitchen to get some drinks for them. Lee thanked his mom for the water. The kids thanked Grandma for the juice. That’s when Lee Roberts’ mom sat down and started to tell stories about Lee. She said that Lee was always a good kid, that all he cared about was watching professional wrestling. She said that he had always wanted to become a professional wrestler and she knew that one day he’d live his dream and wrestle. She said that Lee was also very good in school and had good grades. She said he was a really well behaved young man. Lee Roberts laughed and thanked her for embarrassing him in front of his wife. Lee Roberts then told his mom that he is going to be wrestling for the World Championship Federation International championship. Lee’s mom said that he was going to win and that she was very happy for him to be able to get a chance at the championship.]
“Mister Average” Lee Roberts: You know what, there is one dude I really respect in this match. His name is Cormack McNeill. This guy is really really talented. He is great in the ring and if I wasn’t in this match, I’d pick him to win the whole thing. He great, he really is but he’s not as good as I am. He can go, that’s for sure, but I can go harder and faster. I am the common man, but that don’t mean I’m not great. He definitely has more experience than me, and that may be a really good advantage. The thing is though is I don’t give up. I don’t quit. I don’t say uncle. You get the idea. Cormack, if you win this thing then I will shake your hand as you would be the better one. With you and I in the ring together, who knows what could happen. It’s going to be a straight up brawl I think between you and I Cormack. I just want you to know that I respect you. I really really do. You’re a fantastic wrestler, I’ve seen you. I’ve studied your matches. The thing that I can promise though Cormack is that I am going to bring it to you. We’re going to see if you can take the heat. I don’t think you can.
[“Mister Average” Lee Roberts gets up and goes to the washroom. He comes back to see his wife and kids sitting there in front of his mother who is sitting on a rocking chair. He sees that his mom is telling a story about him. “Mister Average” Lee Roberts sits down on the green couch and listens in to what his mom is saying.]
Grandma: When Lee was a young man, he really liked this girl that was in his class. To him she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. He had a huge crush on her and would always talk about her. Lee, finally had the courage to ask her out. The girl he liked, Stacy, asked him why she should go out with him. Lee said that he was going to be a professional wrestler one day and he was going to be stinking rich. He told her that he was going to be super famous so she might as well jump on the bandwagon right now. Stacy, the young girl said that she would go out with him if he promised one thing and that was to stop talking about wrestling. Lee said that he couldn’t do that. That was when I knew for sure that Lee Roberts not only wanted to be a professional wrestler but he was going to do it for real. I am so happy for him. I am so happy seeing my big boy grow up and live his dream. I am glad that I am alive to see that. I am going to order the pay per view tonight so I don’t forget. It’s going to be a great match, I can tell. Anyway, what do you guys want for supper?
[Lee Roberts and his family decide that they are going to have lasagna, one of Lee’s favorite meals. Lee always loved the way his mom made the lasagna. He thought it was the very best lasagna that he had ever had. He had tried it at restaurants and diners but it had never been as good as his mother’s. Lee Roberts and his family chowed down on the delicious meal. After that, Lee asked if he could have dessert. His mom asked the kids what they wanted. The kids said that they wanted cookie dough ice cream. Lee’s mom went to the basement to get a tub of ice cream. She came back up and prepared a bowl for everyone, including herself. Lee Roberts was so glad that he was having a great time with his family. He really wanted to hang out with his family before he had to go to work. He wouldn’t be able to go back and forth from Tampa to whatever place the World Championship Federation was in. He had media appearances to go to throughout the week.]
[Lee Roberts and his family said bye to Lee’s mother. Lee’s mother gave them all hugs and pleaded for them to come visit her again. Lee Roberts thanked his mom for having them over for supper. They all piled into the car and drove home. After driving for a while, they reached their house. It was late and Lee Roberts and his wife put his kids to bed. After he put the kids to bed, he and his wife had decided to go to bed. It was late and Lee had to go to the arena early tomorrow so he could get ready for his big match. Lee Roberts gave his wife a kiss and then went to bed. It was his last time he would be in the same bed with his wife for a really long time.]
[The next morning, “Mister Average” Lee Roberts got his stuff packed and headed to the airport. He kissed his wife and children goodbye. His wife wished him good luck and Lee Roberts went to catch his plane. He was going to miss them dearly. He was going to miss them a lot, but he knew what he had to do. He knew what he had to do for his family and himself and that was kick some serious butt at the pay per view. Will “Mister Average” Lee Roberts walk out the pay per view with the World Championship Federation with the International championship? Or will someone else get the strap. We will find out soon!]
