Scene- South Philly
Adam Young is sitting in the front row of Viking Hall looking towards a wrestling ring.
Adam- Since day one back in 2009 you and I have never sided with one or another. You in the New Confederacy and me with the Big Time Jerks fighting over the WCF World tag team titles. Doc we pretty much have mirrored each other in this company. We've been threw the days when Seth up and left as Creeping Death and Torture ran the company. The days when a guy by the name of Slickie T destroyed everything in his path as the World champion. Hell we watched a green ass fuck rookie named Odin Belfore do something unbeleavable by going undefeated for nearly a fucking year. One thing in those times never changed was when we walked down to that ring we left everything in that fucking ring. We shortened each others lives in this business and now your unlacing them one more time. The locker room will never be the same again without the Southern Rogue back there. I can understand why your doing what your doing, family and shit. I don't beleave this will be the last time we see Doc Henry in a WCF wrestling ring though. Warriors never retire, we die.
Adam climbs into the ring.
Adam- Today's WCF workers have no idea what we went threw to even get to the WCF. I never bothered to learn your history but its been said several times that I started out in Texas but I found my fighting spirit in Japan. Held titles all over the World just like you. I took it as an honor when Seth Lerch named me as your last person you would face in a WCF ring. While almost everyone who was here when I joined WCF has left I'm still here making sons of bitches earn their damn paychecks because I never take days off. I just recently got power bombed into steel posts and I laced up just last week. I'm here to show generation give me that you don't just get handed everything you want in life. Yeah since I joined WCF I've had one fucking World title shot and it was against Torture in his damn prime when almost nobody could hold a candle to him. Have I once went to booking and fucking cried, hell no I haven't. I don't give a fuck if I main event or open a fucking show, I lace up and preform for the fans. Right now in WCF we have a bunch of cry babies who want it their way, well ladies take your asses to Burger King if you want it that way.
Adam leans up in the corner.
Adam- Since I became a professional wrestler back in 1998 in a little fed known as CWF back in Texas all I've wanted to do is get in this ring and blow the roof off of the place. My skills in the ring have put food on the table for me and the family I once had. Company after company kept offering me everything under the moon to join them. Nineteen years of busting my ass to get to this point right here where I'm the last person to get in the ring with you Doc. No championships on the line just two grizzled vets stepping into the ring and showing those young bitches in the back what a real wrestling match looks like. Do you think those punks like Spencer Adams or Mikey eXtreme know what it means to have to live on peanut butter, raymen noodles, and sardines. Showing up for a match and not knowing if your even going to get five bucks. Hell we didn't care as long as we got to step threw those ropes. When we both got here WCF was putting on shows in venues like this right here. We would go out in front of maybe three hundred people unless it was a major show. These young bitches have no idea how guys like us lived back then. We didn't have catering we made a McDonalds run if we where lucky. Man I miss the hell out of those days.
Adam kneels down and runs his hand on the mat.
Adam- I'm going to be the last of Seth's fossil's in this company. It's not going to be the same walked back threw that curtain and one of you guys hand me a beer or a bottle of Jack. The days of us being a family are over buddy. Torture and Corey are part timers and now your leaving. You've put this whole damn thing on my shoulders. I should be down in Florida fishing not trying to make sure one of these green ass mother fuckers looks good on TV. Is it even worth it anymore. Should I start thinking about unlacing my boots and saying the hell with it. I know I can't do it cause I can't leave this business in the hands of these bitches. Hell if I did that professional wrestling is dead. There's no one to carry on what we built in this fucking company right now. I've tried again and again to help these bitches along and they just spit in your face or go into fucking rehab. Man this business is in fucking trouble let me tell you what for. At Fifteen the end of an era.
Adam climbs out of the ring and starts walking towards the exit. He stops right before the door.
Adam- Its better to die young than to burn out.
Adam reaches up and switches the lights off as he walks out of the building into the streets of South Philadelphia.
