Now is the time to steal the last minute votes, to appeal to sympathy, to make promises or to do your best to appeal to the masses. Now is when the politicians spin the facts to their liking and campaign, we shake the babies and kiss the hands.
But come on, that's not what brought me to the dance.
When I stood face to face with Kyle Kemp, it was to usher in a new era in the People's Championship, a return to form, to hold this belt proudly over my head and prove once and for all that the voice of the People was a stronger force than anything that the insidious Beach Krew could offer. Kyle Kemp jealously guarded this prize, cheating and stealing, bragging and going out of his way to avoid defending it. I promised that if the people would be in my corner, would help me wrench it from his grasp, that together we would make this the most important belt in WCF once again!
And I see no better chance than Fifteen to start delivering on those promises.
Those months I guaranteed you a champion who would run from NO MAN, who was scared of NOBODY. Who would hold this belt proudly and stand before every challenger who came before him.
A true champion bows before no man, and believe me, there have been times when I doubted myself. Yet each and every time, you, the WCF faithful, were there for me.
And now we reach a turning point. Fifteen years, Nineteen Champions, and an undeniable sense of magnitude in the air.
There is nothing in the world that would make me happier than to walk out of Fifteen, still able to carry on the legacy of this wonderful belt, but do not mistake my desire for greed. This is not about bragging rights, this is not about getting to say that I was able to defeat one of the greatest men to ever step between those ropes, no!
This match is about solidifying the legacy of the People's belt. This match is about taking something that has been fought for, bled for, and vied for and showing the world why it was all worth it!
At Fifteen, the People's Title will be decided, and its legacy reaffirmed once and for all!

My friends, the hour draws near.
Soon the tired hands of weary workers will once again return to their rest, droopy eyes shall with a tired bliss see the welcome sight of a happy home welcoming once more, and the sun shall set on another well earned Sunday.
And then...the stars come out.
Tonight on the biggest pay per view event of the year, maybe the decade, the WCF will deliver the greatest show in years of the greatest show on earth!
Every member of the roster, big small or microscopic has put forth an unparalleled effort to guarantee the fans at home an event that they will never forget!
Whether you are a legend, a workhorse, or even just a happy veteran, there is not a man on tonight's card who does not understand what tonight, what the WCF is about.
Tonight is a night of redemption, a chance for Jay Price to prove once and for all he can be a world champion.
It's a night of opportunity, as Andre Holmes and Bernard Core look to claim championship gold in what could be the first of many title reigns!
It is a night of intrigue, as WCF contenders who have been passed over time and time again step into the ring with long thought dormant legends with the greatest prize ever offered in WCF history hanging just out of reach, and all anyone has to do is grab it.
It is a night of spectacle, as men fight on volcanoes or duel themselves, ensuring a spectacular show for all involved.
And it is a night of revenge, as brothers in arms stand toe to toe with their former ally, to silence once and for all the evil that has consumed him.
And there, right in the midst of such amazing matches, there I am. Teo del Sol vs Torture, no gimmicks, no stipulations. Just two men, one belt, and all the eyes of the world upon us.
As I sit here typing these words with my eyes resting on that glorious championship- the symbol of everything WCF stands for- symbol of freedom, of choice, symbol of hope, the reminder that any man can make a difference in this world of ours...
The longer I look at it the more surreal it is that I get to hold it.
You know stepping into that ring with a WCF legend, a mainstay, an icon, it's a scary thing. I know that torture can win it and no matter how hard I try there's nothing I can do that can guarantee victory.
So as I look on this belt for what could be the final night, the feeling, it's.... Indescribable.
But I know one thing for sure, and that is that the legacy of the People's title is alive and well!
If I defeat torture tonight I will see to it personally that anybody who wants a shot at this belt gets it. This is not s prize to be hoarded, something to be guarded, this is YOUR title, and tonight is the first night of the rest of our lives.
WCF faithful, I know you'll be watching. So please, enjoy the show.
