(The scene opens to reveal a solitary figure sitting in a familiar gym. The dingy green walls and aging equipment echo the screams and pride of forgotten warriors. Attention now shifts directly upon the squared and muscle bound shoulders of a slightly bigger and more defined neck and back. Arms slightly larger. In the reflection we realize this figure is the Weapon of War. Yes, the baddest mofo sits in solitude. He looks at the camera from the reflection.)
Maxx: The return of domination. A return to a war without attrition. One. A turning point in the personal conquest of THE baddest mofo on the show. It began as planned. Two victims succumbed to inevitable defeat but alas it was not without consequence. After my shoulders were pinned to the mat for the three count I learned that I had suffered a concussion during the bout which would put me out of action for 23 days. I then returned to Memphis to recover and rearm. Mission accomplished. Today I was given clearance by the WCF brass to return to the ring.
(Rage Maxx stands up at this point from the weight bench that he has been sitting on, he turns to face the camera directly. While he looks much the same we now see that he has clearly gained more mass. Wearing his usual cargo shorts and wife beater the increase in size is noticeable. It's apparent in this that he has spent much time training during the down time he has had since suffering the concussion at One.)
Maxx: I've given 10 years to this sport and while I do regret that injury forced me to the sidelines early on in my career with the WCF I am thankful for the chance to come back to Memphis and remember why I got into the business. As a kid I remember many nights spent at the Mid South Coliseum watching the legends of our business wage war night in and night out before the days of syndicated wrestling programs. They weren't wrestling for the millions at home, only for the thousands in attendance at the venue. It was in those moments that I knew I wanted that. The glory of the squared circle. I return now to you WCF, a man restored. With no other plan than to ascend to the echelons of the greats and stand like a snow leopard, at the top of the mountain, on the shoulders of wrestling Gods.
(Rage walks over to an old ring. It's clearly ancient with it's duck taped ropes and faded mat. How many men have trained here? From the looks of it, it's been the home of thousands of students. Some learning their craft with precision while many merely realized that the feat was more than they were ready for. Rage Maxx slides under the bottom rope and stands up. He sort of bounces up and down and then hits the ropes twice. He returns to the center of the ring and smiles. He then looks back to the camera.)
Maxx: Oh the hours I've spent in this ring preparing for the day that I would finally be able to compete on the scale that I have now risen too. The heart of a warrior inherent in the strength of a monster sent by Odin to destroy worlds and claim victory over the masses. The Mempho Mofo is ready to blaze his path to the shores of Valhalla but not before the work is done and the final victory is won. The beginning is now. Let the games begin. The Weapon of War is armed and prepared. Who will be the first? Who accepts the task? My absolution begins now and I will be redeemed. Who among your mighty ranks will answer the call? I don't want your weak. Only the best will do. You've been warned.
(Rage climbs down from the ring and walks passed the camera which stays focused on the ring that he has just exited. Shortly afterwards we here the door slam as he exits the gym. The lights go out in the building leaving but one light burning over the ring as the scene fades to black.)
