Zach Davis: Vengeance is finishing this!
Vengeance pulls Atreyu in once more and lifts him high in the air!
Freddy Whoa: LAST RITES POWERBOMB!
Once Atreyu is up, he elbows Vengeance right in the face!
Crowd: BOO!
Vengeance is sent sprawling backwards as Atreyu connected perfectly. Atreyu lands on the mat and runs full speed towards Vengeance.
Gravedigger: BLACK EYE SONATA!
Atreyu hits his move! But Vengeance doesn't go down! Atreyu looks shocked for one moment before he pulls Vengeance in and hooks him....
Zach Davis: A SERAPHIM'S CALL.
Atreyu pins Vengeance, hooking his leg.
ONE.
TWO.
THREE.
The bell sounds.
Freddy Whoa: Damnit.
Atreyu sits up, grinning in between pained breaths.
Gravedigger: Vengeance had a gameplan, which he executed well.... But Atreyu had a secret weapon: his elbow, and how he used it to reverse the Last Rites. He'd hit Vengeance with a few elbows earlier in the match, but he followed the Last Rites reversal up with a Roaring Elbow on top of it. There was nothing Vengeance could have done.
The crowd gives a mixed reaction as Atreyu quickly leaves the ring and begins heading to the back. Vengeance sits up and throws hands over his face as if he had no clue what just happened. How could he have messed this up? How could he have been one step slower than someone who hasn’t been in the ring for a very long time? As he slowly runs his hands off his half painted face that sweat seemed to rub off he slides them through his hair removing it from his face as he thinks for a few seconds he slowly crawls over to the ropes and uses them to assist him standing up. Once to his feet he looks out into the crowd who was also unsure what just happened but they seemed to slowly clap for Vengeance. Vengeance slowly drops the straps to his tank top and climbs through the middle and top rope jumping to the floor mat. He once again slowly looks into the crowd as a few more fans started clapping, Vengeance gives a half smile as he walks towards the back locker room. Once in the back stage area he ignored everyone and walked straight to his locker room. As he reached the door he took a deep breath and sighed, slowly turning the handle to the left and pushing open the door and walked through. Closing the door behind him he looked over his locker room which was small and painted white with a black leather couch sitting against one wall and his suit cases sat against another. Vengeance walked over to the black leather couch and slowly sat down. He once again placed his hands onto his face as he put his head down towards his knees. There was no doubt frustration was starting to set it. How could he loose to someone like Atreyu it made no sense to him, matter of fact the past two weeks made no sense to him? All the questions asked made no sense, Freaking out and choking Chris made no sense. What was truly going on inside the head of Vengeance? Something wasn’t right and the signs on normality was no were to be found. He needed to get things back on track as the first Slam of 2016 was only a week away.
Chris also watched the match from the backstage area TV. When the match concluded he let out a big sigh and just stared at the TV, he also couldn’t understand what just happened. He finished watching the show in hopes Vengeance would cool down. He decided he probably should go and talk to Vengeance. He grabbed his folder of papers off the plastic table and slowly walked down the hallway towards the locker rooms. He finally reached Vengeance’s door and before he opened it raised his and looked up to the ceiling and said a small prayer. He prayed that Vengeance would not take the frustration he knew he had out him, and he prayed they could have a nice civil conversation, he also knew a prayer was the hope. He reached down and grabbed the door handle and turned it the left opening the door. He first peaked inside and saw Vengeance sitting with his hands on his face and his face looking towards the ground. He slowly opened the door and closed it softly behind him. Chris grabbed and unfolding a metal folding chair that was sitting in the corner and sat down. He could feel something was wrong as Vengeance didn’t move or yell at him to get out. Chris sat there for a minute which felt like forever wondering if he should be the first person to talk and he if he was what kind of reaction was he going to set off from Vengeance? Chris decided he should probably say something knowing Vengeance he could sit here in the same position all night long. Chris began to speak but suddenly stopped himself before any words came out of his mouth. He looked at the floor and back at Vengeance. Vengeance still hasn’t made a single move. Chris once again decided he would be the first one to talk as he tried to speak and once again he suddenly stop and let out a sigh.
Vengeance finally decided to lift his head. As he slowly lifted his head he placed his hands on his knees. Vengeance with his smeared face paint finally looked at Chris. The two locked eyes for a few seconds and to anyone else would have been an awkward moment. Vengeance slowly shook his head from left to right and Chris give off a half smile which was I feel your frustration kind of half smile. Vengeance shrugged his shoulders and made an attempt to speak which did nothing but come out in stutters that no one could understand. Vengeance tried once again and he could do nothing but make nonsense stutter. Chris stood up and grabbed the metal folding chair and moved to closer to vengeance and sat down. Since Vengeance couldn’t seem to speak correctly Chris knew had to say something. He once again tried to speak and there was a knock at the door. Chris got up and answered the door, as he opened it he saw a young man dressed in a black t-shirt with grey and blue WCF letters across the front. He handed Chris a piece of paper which was the card for next week’s Slam. Chris took a look at the paper and saw who Vengeance was facing. He then folded the paper and placed it in his left pocket as the young man walked away. Chris closed the door and turned around and sat back down on the metal folding chair.
Chris: I don’t want to be that guy but I feel like I have to be. We exactly went wrong out there? What happened? Freddy Whoa said this was your biggest match to date and yeah I don’t know what to say.
Vengeance again shrugged his shoulders and opened his mouth as he attempted to speak. He sighed
Vengeance: I don’t know what happened. The match was over before I knew it. I don’t remember the last time someone reversed my Last Rites power bomb, I don’t even think it has ever happened. It was like I was living in fantasyland and It just threw me off and the next thing I know the bell was ringing and he was nowhere to be found. As for the Freddy Whoa comment obviously this wasn’t the biggest match of my career any smart person would have put Hardcore and Internet title matches as the biggest matches of my WCF career. To say Benjamin Atreyu is over that is more delusional then me. I never said he wasn’t good, is he better than me, I wouldn’t go that far, was he better than me to tonight sure I cannot argue with that. I don’t know this hasn’t been the best past two weeks and tonight just capped that off. I have had a lot of things running threw my head as you well know and tonight while I was sitting here thinking, maybe it’s time.
Chris: Time for what?
Vengeance: Maybe it’s time for retirement. It will be 12 years come 2016 4 of which has been spent at WCF. We all know you can’t wrestle forever. I don’t want to be that guy who has gone on passed him prime holding on to hope to once again be someone special. If feels like I’m treading water. Something has to change.
Chris: Listen about the past two weeks and what went on with all those questions that upset you I won’t repeat them and please don’t freak out but I know your past. I know everything about it. I’m not going to bring it up anymore then that or say anything about it to anyone. But to go as far as bringing up retirement come on. When I first joined you in that road trip months ago we did nothing but have fun. If it was making fun of people, or bar fights, or just plain stupidity we had a blast doing it. And all of that showed in your ring work. You put down people who you weren’t supposed to beat, granted I know that really didn’t get you anywhere but that’s not the point. The point is everyone was having fun, everyone enjoyed being around you, watching you work in the ring, and life was great. I don’t know what happened between those times and this pay per view but I think we need to figure this out as a team. We are friends first and foremost and you know I will do anything in my power to help you get back to being the old Vengeance. If I cannot do it myself I will bring people in to help. Look 2016 is a new year and a new beginning why not brings out a new version of Vengeance or even brings back the guy that was from a few weeks ago. Why not have fun again. Just because you lost one match doesn’t mean you need to call it quits. You need to remember that one anyone can get beat on any night everyone has allowed to have an off night. If you don’t want to do it for me remember all of the people who spend their hard earned money and paint their face like you just to come to an arena and watch you.
Vengeance looks at Chris for a few seconds before he began to talk. He knew that was Chris was saying made sense. Benjamin Atreyu may have won the match tonight but it was only one night and a fresh start could easily be had at the first slam of 2016. Vengeance has always been grateful of his fans all though he really never shows it. So maybe this was a blessing in disguise. Maybe just maybe this actually could have been a good thing. Vengeance for some reason forgot how to have fun over the past few weeks. Maybe it all the questions about his unknown passed, maybe it was the questions of trying to figure out just who exactly Vengeance was and is. Maybe it was the pressure of performing on the biggest show of the year for only the 2nd time. As the word retirement floated around in his thoughts the more it sounded foolish and would do nothing more than make look weak. 2016 will be a new year and could have so much more to offer.
Vengeance: You know you’re probably right. The past two weeks have been the worst of my career there is no doubt and there was a lot more frustration then fun and I’m sure it took a toll on everyone and I have no one to blame but myself and I should have been a better person. I’m not going to change who I am. Outside the ring when the face paint and gear are off I’m just like everyone one else, but when the face paint and gear goes on I’m a totally different person and will still not take responsibility for my actions. I have built a reputation be it small making people not fully understand me, which has been my goal from day one. Not everyone needs to completely understand me. I have always believed that does more good than harm.
Chris smiles
Chris: Dude I get it I really do. Nothing you said is wrong everything makes sense to me. I feel what would be best to help you out would not to dwell on the past few weeks but let’s look forward to a new start in 2015. I think you should try and let loose and let’s have fun over this upcoming week and go back to doing what you do best and wrestle the Vengeance way. I have a copy of the next slam card in my pocket. Do you want to see it or do you want to wait?
Vengeance: Let me look at it.
Chris reached down to his left pocket and pulled out the folded piece of white paper with black lettering that had a copy of the slam card on it. He unfolded it and handed it to Vengeance. Vengeance read the card from the top down to the bottom. Vengeance laughed softly as he read his match Vengeance vs Patrilli. This wasn’t going to be the first time he had been in the ring with him all though last time we can all say Patrilli didn’t fare well and Vengeance was ended up in the final two for a world title shot which he lost. Vengeance thought the funniest part about Patrilli recently had been all the trash talking he attempted on twitter when he tried getting in the middle of Vengeance and Atreyu needless to say that didn’t work out to well for him either. Matter of face Vengeance believed there were some comments thrown around that Patrilli actually wanted to fight Vengeance any. Well I guess you could say this was going to be his big chance to shine; only problem was Vengeance obviously thought different and he truly was starting to bite into Chris’s words about having the first Slam of 2016 be a fresh start for him, and why it everything has been set up perfectly.
Chris: Wow that is the first time I have heard you laugh in like weeks. Do share what’s so funny about the slam card?
Vengeance: Well there is a lot of things funny about the Slam card but I probably shouldn’t say anything I don’t want to get fined or get thrown into some bullshit match again like I did a few weeks ago so I’ll just comment one of the things. Besides you should already know this. But the funny thing is called Patrilli. I guess you can say he finally gets what he wants. I don’t know if you ever read twitter but this guy tried getting in the middle of the trash talking I had with Atreyu and he actually wanted to fight me. I think he is probably half stupid he already faced me once in that battle royal and lost. If he actually thinks a second time is going to better ha-ha sad mistake sorry you lose. But for real man what you are saying has made a little sense to me you know about the whole new start deal. When it comes down to it tonight’s match really didn’t mean anything you know since this was the biggest match of my WCF career.
Vengeance and Chris both laugh
Vengeance: You know if this actually works out like it should we will all look back on this moment and either thank you Chris or Benjamin Atreyu, hell maybe even both of you. I guess we will also have to thank Patrilli for being the first victim of 2016 that launched new life into my career. Anyways whatever happened to Frank did I force him to quit? I probably should apologize for getting into his face. Speaking of Frank where did you find this guy?
Chris: Well right now he is sleeping but he should be coming in here in a few minutes. But I knew we needed a driver. Let’s face it we couldn’t keep splitting the drive time between shows it was going to be too much especially since you’re going to be on the road full time again. To answer your question where did I find him I put and ad out on a nationwide looking for work website and he applied. I guess he used to drive cab down in Florida but has experience driving tour busses. Speaking of buses I think it might be a good idea to start looking into a tour bus now that we will be having three people on the road with us plus it will be a little more reliable then the RV.
Vengeance shakes his up and down in agreement with what Chris was saying.
Vengeance: Yeah I get that. I have no problems with moving on from the RV and getting a bus. Maybe next week we can get that done as long as they will take the RV on trade. I think that is something you will have to look into while we travel to Rhode Island or you can wait till next week for that too it really doesn’t matter to me. What I do know is we need to get the fuck out of this shit hole and move on from this bullshit night.
Chris: I agree I’ll go find Frank while you get showered and changed.
Vengeance stood up and Chris did the same. They hugged and Vengeance walked out of the room to go shower and change. Chris walked out of the room and left the arena and walked to the RV and where Frank was sitting on the RV steps. Chris gave off that what are you doing look to Frank.
Chris: What are you doing? We were waiting for you to wake up so we could get on the road.
Frank: I’m sorry about that. I just know what happened tonight and what happened over the past couple weeks with Vengeance were he got in my face I just didn’t want to repeat that and I decided it would be best for me to sit out here and prevent that from happening at least for the short term.
Chris smiles
Chris: I understand and to let you know Vengeance and I just had a long talk inside his locker room. He wants to apologize to you…
Frank interrupts
Frank: Whoa whoa whoa whoa you are making him apologize to me are you crazy? He will kill me, what are you thinking Chris. Oh my god I have to get out of here I get work here anymore.
Chris starts laughing his ass off
Chris: Stop just stop your killing me here. Listen didn’t tell him he had to apologize I’m not his boss. He actually said it. I know you haven’t known him very long but he is actually fun person outside of the ring that is.
Frank: What do you mean fun? He almost killed me before and he wasn’t in a wrestling ring.
Chris: What I am saying is without the wrestling gear and face paint he is a totally different no different than or I he just had a bad few weeks. Let’s be honest Frank everyone has rough patches in their life lucky for everyone they are short lived. I told him let’s forget what has happened and lets start fresh. The next slam is in 2016 and it can be a fresh start for his career and he agreed with it. So do mje a favor when he comes out here let’s all forget what happened and drop it and move on agree? Trust me we will have fun and you will be glad you took this job.
Frank: Ok I will agree to that and give it another chance because I’m going to trust you on this. But I swear if this happens again will…..
Frank stopped tslking as he noticed Vengeance walking towards the RV pulling his suitcases behind him. Vengeance approaches the RV and looks at Chris then looks at Frank.
Vengeance: Frank look I want to apologize for getting in your face I wasn’t myself and I shouldn’t have acted like that.
Frank: Apology accepted.
Vengeance: Glad to hear it, so why don’t we load up and get the fuck out of this town and head to Providence.
Chris and Frank agreed as Frank opened the door and three climbed inside the RV. Frank got in the driver’s seat and started the RV. Chris sat on a bench seat that was behind a wooden table and turned on his laptop. Vengeance through his bags back in the bed room area and sat on the couch and stared out the window as Frank started driving the RV towards Providence, Rhode Island. As the night went on Vengeance ended up falling asleep on the couch and Chris finally turned off his laptop after a good 4 hours of work and also went to sleep in one of the bunk beds he shared with Frank. Frank ended up driving through the night and finally made a first stop and a Perkins restaurant for breakfast. The slow stop woke up Vengeance as he sat up on the couch and looked outside. The sun was shining as it was around 10am. Vengeance rubbed his eyes and put his hair into a ponytail, he took a few minutes to fully wake up. Frank climbed out of the driver’s seat and smiled at Vengeance as he opened the door and walked down the steps. Vengeance soon followed. After Vengeance climbed down he realized he was a little bit sore from last night’s match and decided to stretch a little. Few minutes later Chris came climbing out of the RV half-awake with his hair still messed up from his pillow.
Chris: What’s going on why are we stopped? I knew we should have got that bus sooner.
Vengeance: Would you chill the fuck out. Look around you we are at Perkins and its 10am. I believe you call that time for breakfast.
Chris yawns and looks at vengeance with a dazed look.
Chris: Yeah I guess so, where the hell is Frank?
Vengeance: He went inside to get us a table. Why don’t you go make yourself look at least half way presentable and meet us inside. Damn your ugly when you wake up, you look like your homeless.
Chris: UGH!
Chris stormed off went back inside to get ready for the day. Vengeance walked through the parking lot where there were a few different cars but no too busy and walked into the front door of Perkins. Vengeance looked around. It was your typical Perkins restaurant nothing special and it seem to be serving mostly older people this morning. He was greeted when he walked in the front door.
Host: Good morning sir. Table for three correct?
Vengeance: That would be correct.
The host grabbed a menu and walked Vengeance to the back of the restaurant to a large table that was half booth half chairs where Frank was sitting on the booth side. Vengeance pulls out the wooden chair and sets down. He looks at Frank and Frank looks back at him.
Vengeance: Good morning Frank how are you?
Frank was still a little nervous around vengeance and you could tell in the sound of his voice,
Frank: I’m good sir how are you this morning? Doing better?
Vengeance had a little aggression in his voice but it was just to mess with Frank
Vengeance: Doing better? What exactly is that supposed to mean? Are we talking about doing better from when I got in your face or since we lived in fantasy land last night when I got beat?
Vengeance picks up his glass of water and slams it back on the table. A few of the older guest looked towards their table wondering what was going on.
Vengeance: TELL ME FRANK WHICH IS IT?
Franks eyes lit up as he felt shocked and really had no idea what to do or say
Frank: ummm ummm ummm nothing Sir I just I just
Vengeance smiles
Vengeance: I’m just messing with you Frank. Of course I’m doing better today. You know honestly I feel like a new man. You really need to chill out a little bit we like to have fun.
Franks eyes where still big from what just happened as his nervous where slowly calming down
Frank: Yes sir I will try too.
Vengeance: You can stop calling me sir. I’m not that old.
By this time Chris walked in and sat down on the booth next to Frank. All three of them seemed to order the same thing for breakfast which consisted of eggs, bacon, sausage, and toast. Frank and Chris drank Orange juice and Vengeance had chocolate milk. After they all finished eating there breakfast Vengeance picked up the tab and left a 5 dollar bill on the table for a tip. All three men walked out of the restaurant and walked back to the RV and stood outside.
Chris: So what’s the plan for the rest of the trip we really don’t have that far to go.
Vengeance: Hell I don’t know maybe we should go visit the crazy people.
Chris: Visit the crazy people again? Didn’t we just do that?
Vengeance: We sure did but what else are we supposed to do honestly. I already have faced him before. We might as well have a little fun while we are at it.
Chris gave a confused look
Chris: A little fun? What do you mean exactly?
Vengeance: Well maybe I can pretend to have what the fuck is that thing he his ummmm oh yeah amnesia and we can go visit the crazy people. Maybe it will be like a petting zoo. We could bring treats.
Chris drops his head into his palm
Chris: Are you kidding me right now a petting zoo? They are people they are humans just like you and I. We can’t just show up at some mental institution and be like hello we would like to visit your residents. There are laws against this you know.
Chris was beginning to freak out a little but on the other hand he thought this would a good thing he was hearing from Vengeance because this was the same guy he had fun road tripping with just a few weeks ago.
Vengeance: Ok ok I get that. But what if we call them ahead of time and get an appointment. We could say we are doing research.
Chris: And what exactly are we going to be doing research for?
Vengeance: Well that is quite simple. Right now there is a huge debate going on in the world about head injuries and professional football. They even made a movie about it. So what if we said we are doing some research for head injuries in professional wrestling? We could easily say we represent the WCF and we would like to learn more and study the amnesia effects from a severe head injury.
Chris sighs and doesn’t say anything for a few seconds. He knows there is probably nothing he can say or do to change Vengeance’s mind.
Chris: Do we really have to do this? Can’t we do something else? Please?
Vengeance: Nope I want to go pet the special people and the last time I checked I’m your boss. So here is what you’re going to do. You can go in the RV google mental places in Providence, Rhode Island and get us an appointment for Friday. We can split the driving time so we can drive straight through.
Chris doesn’t say anything and pulls his blue smart phone from his pocket and types in the pass word to unlock it. He goes to good and types in mental health Providence Rhode Island. A few different listing pops up and he goes through them and decides to call Providence Psychology. He dials the number and after a few rings a lady answers the phone. Chris told her the story of how they represented WCF and would like to speak with a doctor about head injuries that could affect professional wrestling. The lady didn’t see a problem with that and they had a doctor who helped head injury patients every day. Chris asked for the Friday at 4pm and the lady agreed and the two hung up.
Vengeance: Well what did they say? Did you get us an appointment to pet the Crazies?
Chris: No you’re not going to be petting anyone that has a mental illness. I did get us an appointment for Friday with Dr. Richard D. Johnson.
Vengeance: Richard the D Johnson huh seems like a fitting name.
Chris smirks
Chris: Stop you do realize you need to act professional when we go to this place. I mean you truly want to learn about Patrilli right? That is the whole point to this.
Vengeance: Yeah sure why not. What is there really going to be learn. He’s a fucked up dude with some type of head problem, who honestly gives a fuck? I really just want to go and hear how truly fucked up he is. I mean I’m sure all amnesia people have to have something in common right? Hopefully I can keep a straight face through all of this, I promise I will honestly try my hardest to be professional you have my word scots honor, or whatever you want to call it.
Chris shook his in in disbelief
Chris: This is going to be a disaster I already know it.
All three of them loaded back up into the RV and Frank started driving again. Over the next couple days the stitched off driving and drove straight thought watching the seasons change from what it seemed ever passing state. They finally arrived Providence, Rhode Island. Frank of course was the last person to drive and he pulled into the parking lot of the Dunkin Donuts arena and parked the RV by the back entrance. Vengeance decides he would mess around with Frank and Chris. Chris and Frank walked outside and Vengeance decided now would be a good time to dress in his wrestling gear and paint his face and have a fake fight with Patrilli and also do commentary. Everyone would call this Delusional with seemed fitting. After changing he walks out to the door and flings it open. Chris and Frank suddenly turn towards the door as it flung open.
Veng Davis: Oh my god what is Vengeance doing climbing the top rope
Veng Whoa: I don’t know Veng Davis but Vengeance is too big to be up there he is going to kill someone.
Veng Davis: I think he is looking to end this match early Patrilli seems out of it.
Veng Whoa: I don’t know if that is from fighting Vengeance or that is just his mental state all the time.
Veng Davis: I couldn’t tell you Veng Whoa I think it could be a little bit of both.
Veng Davis: Wait a minute Patrilli is up and just took a swing hitting Vengeance’s knees and he falls to the cement.
Veng Whoa: My god that had to hurt. Patrilli walks over and starts stomping Vengeance in the mid-section
Veng Davis: Can you believe Patrilli has taken the upper hand in this match?
Veng Whoa: If I was a betting man I wouldn’t have put my money on this happening.
Veng Davis: The more this goes on the more it looks like Patrilli’s losing streak is coming to an end and it will be back to back losses for Vengeance.
Veng Davis: That will be sad I was really hoping 2016 would bring new life into the career of Vengeance.
Veng Whoa: Losing streaks must come to end just like winning streaks. Anyone can get beat on any night.
Veng Davis: Patrilli slowly pulls Vengeance to his feet by his hair. Hooks him for the DDT straight into the cement wow Patrilli is not holding back. I cannot believe how bad Vengeance is being dominated in this match unbelievable.
Veng Whoa: Whoa someone how Vengeance is slowly getting up this his feet. You just can’t keep him down.
Veng Davis: Vengeance is standing on his feet as Patrilli stands there in shock. What more does he have to do to keep him down? Vengeance kicks Patrilli in the stomach and sets him up
Veng Whoa: Here comes the Last Rites power bomb
Veng Davis: No!!!! Patrilli reversed it and just hit the easer. Wow what strength he must have to pick Vengeance up pick Vengeance up like that. He goes for the cover
ONE….TWO….THREE
Veng Whoa: Whoa Whoa
Veng Davis: Wow Patrilli has just beat Vengeance and ended his losing streak. I guess you could stay that new start Vengeance was looking for won’t be happening tonight as he gets beat once again
Veng Whoa: Whoa is this Fantasy Land?
Chris and Frank stood there watching Vengeance compete in his own match with utter shock. Chris decided what he just say and walked over to Vengeance who was laying down on his back. Chris stood over Vengeance and looked down at him.
Chris: What in the hell are you doing?
Vengeance starts screaming
Vengeance: Oh god Oh god I can’t believe it the humility how could I have gotten pinned again. Oh god how could someone possiblly reverse my finishing move again. AHHHHHHHHH I lost to Patrilli I’m the one who ended his losing struck.
Vengeance starts flopping around on the ground screaming
Vengeance: AHHHH AAHHHHH AHHHHH AHHHH AHHHH AHHHHH
Chris: Would you stop before you causing a scene please?
Vengeance stops flopping around and motions to come closer
Vengeance: It was a good fight right? I tried my hardest, he was just too big and powerful.
Vengeance again starts flopping around on the ground and screaming
Vengeance: Ahhhhhh Ahhhhhh Ahhhhh Someone help me Ahhhhhhh help me Obama
Chris yells
Chris: STOP!!!!
Frank is still standing by the RV laughing
Vengeance: How could this be why am I still in Fantasy Land?
Chris: Would you get up.
Vengeance finally agrees to end behavior
Chris: Now will you tell me what the hell you are doing?
Vengeance: Whoa what’s happening? Why am I dressed like this? I think I must have Amnesia.
Vengeance bust out laughing as Chris shakes his head
Vengeance: You know sometimes I’m just funny. Even if I’m the only one laughing.
Chris: Well you need to go change clothes we had that appointment with Dr. Richard D. Johnson in a couple hours.
Vengeance: Right I forgot, we have to go listen to some boring doctor tell us what amnesia is awesome. Here is your boring mental health explanation for the week. Maybe I could tweet that out with a #boring.
Chris: Hey this was your idea so deal with it.
Vengeance: So it was a stupid idea who gives a fuck about mentally ill wrestlers? Well I guess some people probably feel sorry for them so they like them, but the mass majority are probably like yo fuck these dudes.
Chris: I understand that but you need to remember we told them we are resenting WCF we cannot go in there and give the company you work for a bad name.
Vengeance smirks as Chris’s response.
Vengeance: You know I bought into the whole new 2016 Vengeance deal. So new year new me? Fuck I don’t care what they think of me. I’m fucking entertaining, I don’t play proper!
Chris: Yeah you’re plenty entertaining.
Vengeance finally when back inside the RV and changed clothes. He back out wearing a Vengeance shirt and jeans. Chris had called a cab while Vengeance was changing and the two got in the back sat while frank stayed back at the RV and got some sleep. The cab was driving buy some foreign guy you could barely understand and after he was told to drive to Providence Psychology he could tell he became a little nervous. The drive as about 15 minutes longer but seemed longer jammed inside a crown Victoria cab that had seen its better days as a police car. Not a single word was spoke during the drive. Finally reaching the Providence Psychology clinic Vengeance paid the cab driver and climbed out of the left rear door as Chris climbed out the right rear door. The two stood in the front for a few seconds and then looked at each other. They slowly walked up the building which was blue in color Chris opened the door for Vengeance and walked in behind him. They approached the front desk where a young lady receptionist was working alone.
Receptionist: Can I help you gentleman.
Chris: Yes hi my name is Chris from WCF we are here to see Dr. Robert D. Johnson.
Receptionist: Sure let me give him a call quick.
The receptionist picked up the phone and pressed a button that seemed to be a direct line into Dr. Johnson’s office. After a brief conversation the receptionist hung up the phone.
Receptionist: Dr. Johnson will see you now. You can walk through that wooden door to your left and he is the first office on your right.
Chris: Thank You.
Vengeance opens the wooden door and walks through. The receptionist whispered to Chris just before he walked through the door.
Receptionist: You’re a nice man for bringing your friend here to get help.
Chris just smiled and walked through the door because he didn’t want to explain why they were actually there. But why where they actually there in the first place? Was it to learn about the effects of head injuries in professional sports? Probably not. Was it to learn about the disease that Patrilli suffers from? That again was a no. It was simply the fact to show how really messed up Patrilli is. As they entered Dr. Johnson’s office it seemed to be like any typical office. The walls are white, there is a couch, and two chairs, a desk that Dr. Johnsons sits behinds a various mental health posters hanging from the white walls. Both Chris and Vengeance sit down in the chairs in from of Dr. Johnsons desk waiting for him to come in. About five minutes later an older gentleman that was balding and had a mustache dressed in and suit and tie walked in to the room and shook both their hands before sitting in his chair behind his desk.
Dr. Johnson: So I understand you gentleman are here to learn a little more about Amnesia? Maybe to help professional wrestling with the results of head injuries?
Vengeance smiled because he knew that was the furthest from the truth.
Chris: Yes Sir we are. We don’t want to waste a lot of your time but if you could just give us some basics about the disease that would be wonderful.
Vengeance rolled his eyes and sat back into his chair because he knew the text book word for word answer was coming next. And that is exactly what Dr. Johnson did as he picked up a text book.
Dr. Johnson: Well the easiest way to explain it is give you the text book answer that has done by world renowned specialist. “When people lose their ability to memorize data they have amnesia. Amnesia also refers to an inability to recall information that is stored in memory. In simple terms, amnesia is the loss of memory. The causes of amnesia may be organic or functional. Functional causes of amnesia are psychological factors, such as defense mechanisms. People with amnesia also find it hard to imagine the future, because our constructions of future scenarios are closely linked to our recollections of past experiences. Researchers from Washington University in St. Louis used advanced brain imaging techniques to show that remembering the past and envisioning the future may go hand-in-hand, with each process sparking strikingly similar patterns of activity within precisely the same broad network of brain regions.
Vengeance keeps nodding off as he is listening to the Doctor speak.
Chris: That is very interesting.
Dr. Johnson: However most people with amnesia are usually lucid and have a sense of self. but, they may experience severe difficulties in learning new information and forming new memories, as well as finding it extremely difficult to recall memories of past experiences and information. There also several different kinds of Amnesia which are all different. I suggest if this type of head injury occurs the best way to handle the situation is get an specific type diagnose. This is also very rare and there are no cures for it. Does that answer your question?
Chris: No I think that will be a good start thank you.
Dr. Johnson. Excellent, well here is my card please if you have any further questions give me a call I’ll be glad to answer them.
Chris and Vengeance both stand up and walk out of the office back through the wooden door in the lobby back out to the parking lot.
Vengeance: That was a complete waste of time. You should have just googled this or something instead of making listen to that boring doctor. I have better things to do.
Chris: Me? This was your idea I already told you that. You old me to set it up, you didn’t give me any other choice.
Vengeance: I never said that. Don’t blame this on me.
Chris: Yes you….
Vengeance smiles and interrupts
Vengeance: Damn Amnesia, I must have forgot.
Chris: HAHAHA you’re not funny.
Vengeance and Chris climb back into the same cab they took to get to the clinic and returned back to the RV. When they got back Frank was awake and had folding chairs set up outside the RV and was sitting in one looking at his phone. Chris decided to join Frank and sat beside side him as Vengeance decided to go for a walk inside the arena’s backstage area as the WCF TV crews were busy setting up inside for Sunday night’s show. Vengeance ventured to the upper deck area and sat down in one of the stadium folding seats and looks out over the arena.
Vengeance: Well here we are Patrilli just days away from a brand new start to wrestling. The first Slam is on the horizon and the biggest pay per view is now a memory. We both didn’t exactly come out on top of the world did we? You are in the middle of a giant losing streak and will I just couldn’t finish what I started. But when the card was delivered to me by my agent Chris and I read Vengeance vs Patrilli it really didn’t shock me. You haven’t been around that long so we never really had physical run in with each other because you didn’t last too long in that battle Royal awhile back did you? But we both this really started back on October 28th 2015 I guess you could call it a silent feud if you will. I was in the middle of a twitter battle with what would be my one opponent Benjamin Atreyu and you decided to get involved in something you didn’t belong too.
You Patrilli decided to take this Sundays fate into your own hands as you fired the first shot at me. You told the world there is no reason Vengeance should ever be holding a title. Why? Why shouldn’t there be any reason for me to be holding titles? There is a million reasons why I should be holding titles. Or maybe you say that out of jealously. After all we can all agree that after walking into WCF in late September you haven’t exactly impressed anyone have you? You have done nothing more than lose each and every week that you’re on the show. To say that there is no reason that I should be holding titles is simple jealously on your part. I did something you can’t do. That eats you up inside doesn’t Patrilli? But they felt sorry for you and gave you a chance you didn’t deserve at One. And you did what you do best and lost again.
Then without trying you basically said my career exploded aiming towards my past. I have said this time and time again but people want to keep bringing it up. Yeah I was in a dark places three years ago and I walked out on the WCF during my reign as Hardcore and Internet champion. I’m not proud of what happened back then but it happened and there is nothing I can do about it. It’s no secret that my past maybe dark and cloudy but that always leaves room from change. Minus what happened the past two weeks as I seemed to venture down that dark road once again I have changed and anyone that knows anything about my career knows that. That is something you should pay attention to Patrilli. You can research me all you want, watch all my career highlights but you have no clue what is about to hit you come Sunday night.
So your keyboard warrior skills were shorted lived on twitter much like your current career. You could just tell in your last promo how truly lost you really are. It shows in the fact that you allowed yourself this confusing long boring promo of some fantasy land match that was in your head that completely made no sense to anyone. I don’t take pity on anyone but I truly felt bad for your partner. Granted I don’t know if he was forced to take you on as a partner, you had to pay him, or by some god given miracle he actually asked you. I will give you a little credit you may have made some sense here and there in that rambling we all had to listen too. But it was also pretty obvious that you don’t like the truth either. You claimed people called you the weak link of the team. I don’t had you could even argue this point Preecha actually did something with his career and got a world title shot. You have done nothing but lose. So how were you not the weak link to that team? As for the claim of being the second coming of Adam Young? Once again how could you even argue that point? You both lose every week. Was Adam young your only win or was that some Amnesia going on inside your head? It must be nice believing you actually won a match in fantasy land.
I do my work just like any other professional. I watch tape and read history on my opponents. The more I look back over your career here the more weakness I see in you Patrilli. After all this is what you wanted deep down inside isn’t. You wanted to face me months ago. You knew what you were doing when you decided to trash talk me on twitter, you wanted a fight. But I have to ask you have you truly down your homework? Do you honestly deep down want to fight me? You asked me if someone asked for an ass kicking. And I’m going to give you the same answer as I did back in October yes I want you to make that attempt Patrilli. You couldn’t get the job done before do you really think this time is going to be any different? I guess I should take that back. Fighting in a battle royal isn’t fair there is too many other people. But you asking if I’m even worth it quite frankly is just plain stupidity.
Do you remember the last time you trolled me on my twitter? You told the world I sucked and needed a room at the old folk’s home. Looking back on this how incredibly stupid do you feel? You went on to do what you do best losing every week, as I went on and turned my career around. I don’t give out advice often but I would like to give some to you. There is a reason why there is a buzz surrounding the locker room about me. There is no denying people have been impressed or even shocked just how good I can be. Trust me when I tell you this. 2016 is going to be the year of Vengeance. Sadly for you your Adam Young losing streak will continue you and will be my first step as I climb back where I’m supposed to be. All this talk is over, the twitter talk is over, come this Sunday you finally get to find out first hand why all the buzz is about the new and improved Vengeance is all about and you, Patrilli, finally get read your Last Rites, enjoy the ride.
