Dockweiler State Beach.
Los Angeles, California.
Saturday, December 26, 2015.
The afternoon was filled with breeze kissed by the ocean, and the warm sand massaging the bodies on the beach. Dockweiler State Beach was one of the many attractions Los Angeles always promoted. Usually on a Saturday afternoon, it was quite crowded. Tourists, families, and locals all coming together to spend time with one another, partying, drinking, and even playing with their loved one. For the first time in a long while, the Holmes family were joined together in peace to celebrate a vacation, and the success their father has been producing in the WCF. The sun was at an all time high as it can be, and the horizon was amazing. It was partly cloudy, and a cheerful atmosphere. The Holmes family took up a spot near the pier to get a good view, and also enjoy themselves in the water. Thankfully, it was far away from the rocks, and even the polluted section under the bridge. They established a good refuge with a few portable chairs, an Umbrella, and a cooler with all their drinks. Let's nor forget the necessary things for the beach, sun block, extra towels, and a camera to save the memories. Athena in her one blue piece bathing suit jumped into the water with Serenity in her black bikini, and were just playing with each other. Serenity sat under the umbrella in her chair with her shades on, her brunette hair blowing behind hair in a dance with the wind, and in a very attractive green bikini. In front sat Andre who leaned back against her legs only in a black shorts, and with a necklace on. They really enjoyed their time which was quite productive since both the two are now full on set for the divorce. The two haven't really gotten into the conversation about their fight but eventually will.
Samantha Holmes
This is the life. I wish I can do this everyday.
Andre Holmes
Maybe after I win at One, I'll put the money to good use.
Samantha Holmes
That is if you win.
Andre Holmes
You don't think I can win?
Samantha Holmes
I don't think you should be asking me, I think you should be asking yourself that.
He slowly turned his head to look at Samantha over his shoulder.
Andre Holmes
What's that supposed to mean?
Samantha Holmes
It's simple. You're asking others around you for their opinions, predictions yet the one person you need to ask is you. We're not going into the ring for you nor doing your own career. You took it upon yourself to go into the WCF, and now you're here. So I'm asking you, do you think you can win at One?
He looked back into the ocean, and didn't have a word to respond to that statement. He really thought hard about it, and Samantha learned forward to cup her hands under his chin for comfort.
Samantha Holmes
I may not be the most supportive person but I've known you for ten years straight. You're one of the best wrestlers, no THE best wrestler I've known, and you've always achieved what you really wanted.
Andre Holmes
Yeah...'everything'.
Both of them looked at their daughters playing in the water, and Samantha pushed a strand of her brunette hair over her right ear, and cleared her voice.
Samantha Holmes
Look, I know I've been a very stressful, and emotional issue but I'm really happy that we're getting the divorce. It's for the better, and the longer we tried to continue this, it's hurting both of us. I've been trying to tell you but you wouldn't listen.
Andre Holmes
Maybe it's because I don't believe in divorce, and I still have hope this marriage will continue.
Samantha Holmes
I'm sorry. I'm really sorry.
Andre Holmes
Yeah, me too. I'm sorry.
Athena, and Serenity kept yelling, and laughing from splashing each other. Andre leaned his forearms above Samantha's knees, and she kissed his forehead to reassure that she will always love him. He didn't like this process of even waiting to get the divorce, and now it's killing him inside to even go through with it. He wanted to stop it all from even happening in the first place, just go back in time, and smash the first bottle she even drank from. What's in the past is in the past, and now the future is what remains. Athena, and Serenity ran from out of the water, and reunited with their parents once again. Serenity tried to dry her red hair while Athena kept messing with her father to keep his spirits up.
Athena Holmes
You alright Dad?
Andre Holmes
I'm fine.
Athena Holmes
Come into the water with us! Come on Dad!
Andre Holmes
Hell no, I am not getting into the water. No way in hell!
Athena Holmes
What are you? A wuss?
Andre Holmes
Umm, who you calling a wuss?
Athena Holmes
You, "Wussentless" Andre Holmes.
Andre got up off his butt, and chased Athena back into the water. He grabbed her instantly, and spun her around in his arms in the water. Athena kept laughing, and Serenity stayed with Samantha as they both enjoyed the father, and daughter moment they had in the water. Serenity cleared her voice, and started to converse more on the important matters.
Serenity Holmes
So Dad told you about the cab thing?
Samantha Holmes
Yes, and that was a stupid thing to do. Brave, and needed but stupid.
Serenity Holmes
I had to. Someone has to help keep the family together.
Samantha looked at Serenity sat beside her on the sand, and frowned. It was saddening to hear a twelve year old speaking of adult responsibility she's not ready for. Inside, she felt she was the sole person to blame.
Samantha Holmes
You don't have to.
Serenity Holmes
I feel like I'm obligated to. You, and Dad keep fighting every time you guys even look at each other, and I have to keep Athena happy to try, and not even get her involved. It's too much, and I'm trying my best to even hold this family together. I just want us to be normal like we used to.
Samantha Holmes
That's a big burden to bear. You must hate me.
Serenity Holmes
I don't hate you. I hate what you've become. You drink for everything. You drink to get rid of your problems, you drink to even keep yourself happy, you drink to even put yourself to bed. You can't do anything without drinking at home, and it's turning you into a bitch! I just want you to stop.
Samantha leaned her face into her palm, and didn't even care she was disrespected by her own daughter because the truth stung. Serenity got up, and just started talking a walk from the beach to the pier while Samantha was hearing the words playing over, and over in her head repeatedly. Athena, and Andre were in the river floating, and talking.
Athena Holmes
Hey Dad, are you, and Mommy gonna get the 'divort'?
Andre Holmes
It's 'divorce', and yes. We're-- wait a minute. How did you know?
Athena Holmes
The judge on the TV said that when a married couple is fighting, and don't leave each other, they get a 'divort'.
Andre Holmes
I really don't see how a six year old just falls in love with Court programming.
Athena Holmes
Are you Daddy?
Andre Holmes
....Yes.
Athena looked disappointed in her father, and Andre looked back at the horizon. He returned the gaze back on his daughter.
Andre Holmes
It's for the best.
Athena Holmes
Why?
Andre Holmes
It just is.
Athena Holmes
So you don't love Mommy?
Andre Holmes
No, no, of course I do!
Athena Holmes
Then why are you getting a 'divort'? I thought if you love each other, you stay forever. You fight like crazy, and Mommy slapped you. So now, you two will be 'divorted', and we'll never be a family again.
Andre Holmes
Yes, we can. Look...uhm. You're too young to understand, when you're older, you'll get it. Okay?
Athena Holmes
Yes, Dad...
Andre Holmes
Good. Come on, we're ready to leave.
Athena, and Andre left the water, and returned back to their spot where Samantha was showing desperation. Serenity was nowhere to be found.
Andre Holmes
Where's Serenity?
Samantha Holmes
She took off on the Pier.
Andre Holmes
Did you call her?
Samantha Holmes
She's not answering her phone.
Andre Holmes
...This girl I swear. Okay, I'll look for her. Take Athena back to the hotel. I'll be back.
Samantha Holmes
Andre...
Andre Holmes
What?
Samantha Holmes
I love you.
Andre smiled for a moment, and took off to roam the streets to find Samantha.
Streets of Los Angeles, California.
Saturday, December 26, 2015.
Andre kept walking around on the streets near the beach, asking random strangers to fit in the description of the name of her daughter. It was quite stressful how she no one really know about her whereabouts, and he didn't want to resort to involve the local authorities. Just as soon as he was passing by Starbucks, he saw Serenity sitting down in front of an outside table. Andre approached her, and sat down completely relived that his baby was safe, and sound but not too happy the fact she left her family without answering her phone to even let them know she was safe. She looked up to her dad, and didn't say a word. She only sipped some of the coffee she bought from the straw, and he wasn't happy.
Andre Holmes
This is the second time. The second time you've done this. I'm really upset, and might have to ground you for a week.
Serenity Holmes
I don't care.
Andre Holmes
You should. I was worried sick, and you could have been in danger. You don't understand, do you?!
Serenity Holmes
Yeah I do. I understand everything, and I'm tired of it. I'm tired of being the actual mother in this family.
He leaned forward, and couldn't believe what she said.
Andre Holmes
What?
Serenity Holmes
You heard me. I have to be the 'mother' in this family. I'm the one making sure everyone is okay, and not going off the edge. It's frustrating. I barely have time to even hang out with my friends, or even focus on school because of you guys arguing. I'm tired of it, Dad! TIRED!
Andre continued to listen to the ranting, and felt like shit even more. He really wanted to just amend everything between him, and Samantha but he finally understood how their actions are affecting others involved. All he could do was sit down, and take in every shot of truth.
Andre Holmes
I am so sorry.
Serenity Holmes
Dad, you, and Mom need to work this out. Divorce or continuing it, it needs to come to an end.
Andre Holmes
It will. After we go to Houston, we're getting the divorce. It's finally decided.
Serenity Holmes
Wow. That's surprising.
Andre Holmes
What's that supposed to mean?
Serenity Holmes
It's just that you're so down for keeping up the marriage yet you actually agreed. I can't believe it.
He chuckled, and finished the coffee she bought. He checked the time, and see it was way past five. Andre rolled his eyes, and couldn't believe that it was already past five. So, Andre, and Serenity took a cab back to the hotel room. This day was pretty much hectic after the hours has passed by. The entire family was already back at the Luxe Center City Hotel in their booked room, and were just chilling there for now. Andre decided that it was time to get back where he was from yesterday, and now he's going to do just that. He took the canon camera he placed down on the beside counter, and put on his running shoes, jogger pants, and jacket for a the cold weather in the night. He took out into the day, and started to do five mile run to a through a local park while focusing on what's happening tomorrow. After he's done, he sat down on the grass with the canon camera recording.

"Relentless" Andre Holmes
I'm not perfect. I understand that. I'm not the type of guy to sugarcoat everything into gumdrops, and rainbows. I'm the typical hero you all expect me to be that will wave the flag around, do autograph signings, and even suck up to my superiors. I'm a man, a simple man who enjoy what he does the most, and that is to wrestle. I have my doubts, my weaknesses but what separates me from other men is that I focus on amplifying my weaknesses into my own strengths. You have to understand that tomorrow is the biggest match in my career, and that's because I'm going to face men who have come across my path or said words about me without tasting my foot down their throat. Men who share the same goals I have, and men who will go to the lowest of low to achieve that goal. You may ask why I'm saying this but it's the truth? I don't sugarcoat, I stay blunt force. I tell the truth and I call it exactly as I see it. I said it last time that this match was nothing more than another lesson. How anyone can be your friend or partner, and can turn on you the moment you actually have a prize ahead. The other members of the opposing team are Rage Maxx, Benard Core, Loco, and B'Wana Bludde. All men who have one thing in common. They don't mean what they say. They're all small talk. All smoke, and mirrors. Look past that, it's nothing more. However, the tables have turned wit a huge twist in the Torneo Cibernetico. My partners are an asset, and a liability. They will help me eliminate the opposing team which is great but in the end I have to do my best to take them out one by one before it happens to me. Let's look at who is on my side ehh?
We have Lucious Starr. You remember Lucious Starr? He recently won his debut tag match against Loco, and also created some heat when the news he gave about a so called wrestling legend. Right then, and there I messaged him to meet me in the ring so I could Thrust Kick him. Thank you WCF for allowing me to do that so early. You don't come into a new promotion, and expect everything to be handed to you. You have to work for it. Right then, and there I realized the type of character he is. He's selfish, arrogant, and overconfident. I'm not gonna lie, he backed it up but now he's facing others that is way above his own league. He's going to go into the match where he will have me as his partner but also as his enemy. I don't care for what he has to say nor do I want to even know what he actually said. All the talking we do in our work lies in the squared circle. Lucious Starr is a uprising rookie like myself but what he has, and I have is two very different things. I have certainty, he doesn't. Anything I say, it's always certain. I said I was going to defeat Rage Maxx, and Roland Von Erich. I did. I said I was going to make Dexter Radcliffe tap out, I did. Well, here is a certainty for Lucious Starr. Lucious Starr is going to go into that match, do whatever he can to make himself look good, and have a chance of actually winning until he gets kicked in the jaw so hard, he'll be unconscious for the rest of the night. I'm going to finish Lucious Starr after he's done serving his purpose, and move onto the rest.
Other than that, we have Doc Henry, and Punkin. I think the question is? Where are there? I haven't heard from them nor do I even think they exist. Okay, let me go deeper into this. I have to be the one to deliver some veteran advice which is ironic given that I've been here for a month. You're a one hit wonder guys. You show up for a little while then others seem to forget you. I've heard that Doc Henry is a really good competitor but he doesn't stand out to me as a guy that really could alter the match in my favor to get a winning odd. In other words, him, and Punkin are what I actually predict to be the first one out of the match. They don't offer enough versatility, and the entertaining factor to prove they are truly deserving to be in this match. I'm not being a douchebag, I'm speaking what I feel. Punkin, and Doc Henry are the only liability-liability on the team. Hell, even Lucious can handle himself in the ring against a formidable opponen t but I don't think these two are capable of delivering it. I can feel they're going to break under the pressure of a high quality match, and especially on the big stage. Whatever, I'm saying this to you two. You two better show up at One, and make sure you give it everything you've got. You better put your all to even get a chance of making to the final four because you will need that relevance to even keep your name alive. If you don't, might as well work the concessions stand you two? Do something to whatever keep your name alive, and even ensure you may even keep a binding contract to this company. It's good talent that stays on the grid for a while but the best talent is immortal.
All these men in the match are great but they don't have that push to actually win. This match means more to me than anything. My ENTIRE family is watching this, and watching me perform. I inspire them yet they are my rock, and foundation. You guys want to know how much I love them? I would sacrifice this entire world just to spend one more day. We've gone through so much yet we've pushed through to continue help, and support each other. Not a lot of people get to have that experience, and even that luxury. I'm doing this for every family man, woman, and child. And especially for those whose never got to experience that love. I'm fighting for everyone who respects, and loves their neighbors. This here is more than me. It's about you. You guys are the reason I do this everyday because you INSPIRE me to be the best I can.
And I finally understand why they call it One. Because only ONE man is going to be the victor, ONE man is going to be the champion, ONE man is going to cement his legacy in this match. Out of eight, there is ONE man to finally reach higher than the Heavens, and send his enemies deeper than HELL. One man will walk out of Torneo Cibernetico the winner, and that ONE man is "RELENTLESS" ANDRE HOLMES!

Fin.
