The scene begins outside a house on a windy day. The sky is clear and blue, and birds are floating around on the thermals. One individual stands outside the house, thinking of whether or not to go ahead with his plan. Skyler Striker, being that individual, makes the choice and walks forward, scanning around and finally locating the spare key hidden in a small bush beside the front door. He opens the door and walks inside the house, and we can hear a conversation between two people, a male and a female, going on somewhere inside. Skyler follows the noises, walking through the decorated hallways and glancing into side rooms. Finally, Skyler reaches the door that separates him from the people talking, and he listens briefly.[/i]
??: He’ll be back soon. Don’t worry. He knows what he’s doing.
??: But what if…
??: Enough!
Skyler rolls his eyes at this point and walks through the door, revealing a beautiful living room, with leather couches, lots of windows, and a very calm atmosphere to it. Sitting on two of the chairs are Janie and Jimmy Vice. They both turn to look whoever is intruding on their conversation and recognise Skyler, much to their shock.
Janie: Ahhh!
Jimmy: I’ll get him!
Skyler sighs and looks at Jimmy putting up a valiant effort to protect his sister. Jimmy stands in a pose ready to fight, but Skyler laughs at him and does not advance on the two.
SS: Relax. I’m not stupid enough to attack you here when Danny could be here at any moment. I don’t come to attack you or hurt you. You should both already know by now that the both of you and my daughter Jade are not part of Danny’s or my plans for One. We plan on pushing physical limits, not psychological ones. I am simply here to inform you.
Janie gives Skyler a look of ‘what?’, and Jimmy looks confused.
SS: Of what? Of the fact that Danny is not going to be the same. No doubt you already know this, but he will come back more different than you can imagine. I am also here to inform you of my intentions for Danny Vice at One. I don’t want to inflict malicious pain on him, although that may be necessary for both of us. I don’t wish to cause him a pain of hatred. I wish to cause him pain of respect. This is something both of us have to do – to find out once and for all. This is the end to what your brother started when he first attacked me so foolishly, so long ago. After this, hopefully you will both realise that I am not your enemy. Hopefully you will realise that my attack on Jimmy was not out of hate, but out of necessity. Hopefully, you will realise that Danny and I are not enemies, but competitors. When you have realised this, you’ll see your mistakes from the past.
Skyler turns and goes to exit but stops at the door, not turning around.
SS: Hopefully I will see you again after One, Janie and Jimmy Vice. Keep supporting your brother.
Skyler exits the room, leaving Janie and Jimmy totally confused, although Janie looks as if she is beginning to understand. Skyler leaves the house and puts the key back in its spot, jumping into the taxi he came in and driving off.
