Two weeks ago, Thunder made a challenge to the recovering Danny Vice for a match at WCF Sunday Slam. And then when the match happened, the whole wrestling world was shocked. Janie Vice, the sister who Danny cares so much for, turned on him and left with Thunder. The two will certainly have a bitter confrontation at Till Death Do Us Part, but there is one more battle left before then. The two will face off on opposite sides of a tag match this week on WCF Sunday Slam.
The scene opens outside in the hallway of a hotel. The long red carpeting stretches from one end of the extremely long hall to the other. There are many rooms on this floor as indicated by the massive amount of doors. Thunder waits in front of Room 217 with a black gym bag flung over his shoulder. He is the only living soul is this quite, almost too quite, hall. It is obvious that Thunder is waiting for someone or something, an indication that it is time to leave, perhaps. This would seem to be the most likely scenario since Thunder would never dare wait in a hotel lobby for his ride to show up. He would most likely be seen by crazy, rabid, autograph seeking fans. Sure, he would have a bodyguard with him if he was waiting in the lobby, but sometimes that just wasn’t enough. More time passed, several minutes, maybe more, and now it is becoming clear to Thunder that his ride must arrive soon. He doesn’t consider what the reason for his ride being late could be, he is now more focused on his match. It is not very often that a wrestler is in the main event of WCF Sunday Slam, and this match is even more important because he has the chance to get into the head of Danny Vice before their match a week from today.
The silence is broken as the elevator that stands in front of Thunder opposite his door begins to make noises. It comes to a stop and Thunder is relieved for a moment.
Whoever it is must be up here to tell me my ride has arrived, he thinks to himself. But he is only disappointed as the door opens and a maid appears, silver cart next to her. Towels, bed sheets, and various other linens are on the cart. She gives Thunder a respectful nod, but finds only a cold, vacant look in Thunder’s eyes. She heads down a few rooms to the right of Thunder’s, pulls out a pass key and disappears. Thunder then finds himself alone once again. The scene opens outside in the hallway of a hotel. Not long after, the moment Thunder has been waiting for finally comes. The elevator doors opens once again, and standing before Thunder is a puny-looking man in a black suit. Thunder knows immediately it is his chauffer. The chauffer speaks almost in a whisper, like a child who is telling his parents that he has done something wrong.
Chauffer: I’m so sorry I was late. I couldn’t find the hotel.
Thunder: I don’t want to hear anything from you. No excuses, no reasons. Just get me to the arena as fast as you can. At this point I’ll be lucky if I get there at a decent time.
Thunder walks into the elevator. As the door closes, the chauffer presses the button that is numbered “1”. After a few moments of silence, the chauffer speaks.
Chauffer: There’s a young lady that was in the lobby by the name of Janie Vice. She says she is supposed to travel with you to the arena tonight. Is that true?
Thunder: Yes, it is.
The elevator door opens and now they are in the lobby. A young blonde sits at the front desk. In this distance, sitting on a leather couch is Janie Vice. Thunder heads over to the front desk after nodding to Janie, who remains sitting.
Thunder: I assume my assistant has taken care of the costs for staying here and all of that other crap?
Woman: Yes, everything is taken care of. Did you enjoy your stay?
Thunder: As a matter of fact, I didn’t. This is the worst service I’ve ever had in my years of staying in hotels. I’ve got a huge tag team match tonight, and what do I get all day? Maids knocking at my door asking “do you want your bed fixed” every half hour. So I call to the front desk and some bimbo, probably you, says it will stop, but it doesn’t. How the hell I am supposed to concentrate on destroying Danny Vice and Lawnmower Jones when there’s always a knock at my door? And then on top of all that, this idiot can’t find the hotel. I need this match to get into Danny’s head even more and hopefully make sure he’s not at a hundred percent next week. So yeah, thanks for the wonderful service. Let’s the get hell out of here, it’s late enough already.
Thunder and the chauffer walks towards the door, and Thunder signals for Janie to come over. She does and they stop to talk for a moment.
Janie: Ready for tonight?
Thunder: Did you even have to ask? Lawnmower Jones is a joke and I’m not even concerned with him in the least bit. And I’m going to make sure Danny is even more of a wreck before our match at Till Death Do Us Part. You got something planned for Danny again tonight?
Janie: Of course.
They both smile as they think of the pain and suffering that Danny Vice will receive very shortly. The three of them exit the hotel as the scene fades.[/center]
