Hospital. Two days after XIII. Vice and Ragnal are in an room which contains the unconscious form of Skyler Striker. Skyler begins to stir, his eyes fluttering. Vice notices first.
DV: Skyler? Skyler! Are you awake? Skyler!
SS: …What?
DV: Thank God. Skyler, we thought you were in a coma or something. You haven’t been awake since they dragged you out of the chamber.
SS: Where… where’s my World Title?
Skyler tries pathetically to look around for his championship belt, which is of course, long gone and around the waist of Creeping Death. Vice and Ragnal look confused as to how to tell Striker.
MR: Listen, Skyler… you didn’t win the Nightmare Chamber match at XIII.
DV: Creeping Death won the World Title.
Skyler is in disbelief and utter shock.
SS: I… I let you guys down.
DV: Don’t worry about us, Skyler. We’re fine. You need to relax. You’ll get your chance again.
SS: I… that’s not acceptable. Tell Creeping Death I…
And Skyler falls asleep again, his wounds too much for him to stand being awake. Vice and Ragnal look at each other and go back to doing whatever they were doing before.
