In an odd press conference following WAR, WCF stable #BeachKrew addressed the heinous murder of six-year-old Christian Malignaggi and demanded justice against his killer, Dune.
"More heinous than the murder of Jon Crow, we witnessed a true tragedy," said #BeachKrew member Jared "Los Tiburones" Holmes in a tearful address.
"Yung Christian was a beautiful boy who now will never know the true beauties of the world. Watching his father win. Losing his virginity. Going to Bonnaroo. Tweeting death threats at Anita Sarkeesian. Getting high as shit."
Unable to speak through his tears, #BeachKrew member Andre Aquarius took over the podium, addressing the audience. "Bruh, this shit fucked up. Like Flash jus' tryin' ta get dat WHIRLPOOL Championship, ya feel me? But Dune gotta run up on his shit and murked this nigga's kid on his fukken wedding day. That's ice cold, and this nigga tryin' ta say he the Firestarter."
Regaining composure, Jared once more took the podium to finish the conference. "It is abhorrent that this country lets an animal like Dune run free while the blood of a child is on his hands. Almost as abhorrent as the double elimination on me, which was fucking bullshit: my arm was on him first. We at #BeachKrew have seen hideous injustice in this world, from the false imprisonment of Party Train to this unpunished crime. We will not rest until Dune is brought to justice for his actions. I only wonder what his former partner Howard Black, who has a son of his own, thinks of this egregious act of filicide committed by this beast."
A moment of silence for Christian Malignaggi followed the press conference. When questioned by reporters following the event, Jared Holmes described Joseph Malignaggi (better known as Joey Flash) as "a courageous man and champion, taken from us too young." He added, "I know that our new Whirlpool Champion, Wade Moor, will admirably carry the torch in Flash's absence."
Jay Omega, not Wade Moor, was successful in capturing the WCF Championship at last night's WAR. #BeachKrew has maintained that Omega used an illegal closed-fist punch against Wade, which nullifies his victory. The match was a no-disqualification bout.
