WCF Magazine caught up with former War winner who was gracious enough to answer a few questions for us about this year's War match, which he participated in.
WCFMag: So you surprised everyone by walking out and entering the match this year. Is that why you were taken off commentary for the War match itself?
Gravedigger: No, I think that was because Seth is racist and doesn't like Mexicans.
WCFMag: Ha, well, um. So what was it like being out there with the WCF roster of 2015?
Gravedigger: It was eye-opening and quite an experience. The talent in WCF just keeps getting better each year. It was great to see other former talent out there as well.
WCFMag: Other talent such as who?
Gravedigger: I heard that Brad Kane and Steve Carr were in attendance. Despite our history, it was great to see Jeff Purse out there, too.
WCFMag: Wait we were talking about former talent and you mentioned Jeff Purse. You know he's not former talent, right? He's currently wrestling a standard WCF contract.
Gravedigger: If you say so. It's just good to see that he's still capable of wrestling with today's talent.
WCFMag: Well speaking of wrestling with today's talent, your attempt at winning War fell short at the hands of up-and-coming David Sanchez. Your thoughts on that?
Gravedigger: Yeah that piece of shit had no business getting in my way and obviously wanted to make a name for himself. He's going to make a name for himself pretty soon as the piece of shit stuck to the bottom of my boot if he doesn't watch it.
WCFMag: So for 4 years, we have seen the War elimination record stand at 5 eliminations each, held by Logan, Matthew Steele, you, Jayson Price, and Odin Balfore. At War XIV we saw it broken by two men. Gemini Battle and Los Tiburones. Your thoughts?
Gravedigger: It's no secret I am a fan of #BeachKrew. Hell I'm an honorary member of the damn group. Honestly, I wanted that record to stand forever, but if there was anyone who was going to break that record, I'm proud that it was a member of #BK.
WCFMag: Yes, but Gemini Battle broke it first and then Los Tiburones tied it.
Gravedigger: Yes, I'm aware.
WCFMag: So no comments on Gemini Battle breaking it, too?
Gravedigger: Hm? What was that?
WCFMag: I think you heard me. Anyway, one last question. WCF has a new world champion in this year's War winner, Jay Omega. What are your thoughts on that?
Gravedigger: It was Pantheon, so I'm not surprised.
WCFMag: Me either and I agree. They are a pretty awesome group of wrestlers.
Gravedigger: That wasn't a compliment.
WCFMag: What do you mean?
Gravedigger: Look, I'm busy. I have to prepare my notes for Slam. Go bug someone else.
CUT.
