From Wrestlezone.com By: Josh Isenberg If you were watching WCF Pay-Per-View Revenge last night, then you were among the millions that witnessed the horrific demise of on-air personality "The Scarecrow" aka Corvus Cane. It was one of the most shocking moments in wrestling history, akin to the on-air death of Owen Hart...minus the fact that WCF decided to keep the cameras rolling. It's a testament to where we are as a human race. 16 years ago, the Owen Hart tragedy rocked the wrestling...NO! THE ENTIRE WORLD TO IT'S CORE! But last night essentially marked the first live snuff film broadcast to homes around the world. Families witnessed the brutal murder of a valued WCF performer...and then continued on to watch their regularly scheduled programming. It's DEFINITELY worth noting that subscription rates for the WCF Network nearly doubled last night after the tragedy. This journalist was in attendance and witnessed this horrific event. The fall alone was enough to make this reporter look away...and the sheer amount of blood caused me to lose the nachos I had put away during the show. Still, I did my journalistic duty. I found Scarecrow's opponent at Revenge, Wade Moor, to get a quote from him after the tragic passing of his opponent. He had nothing to say. And that chilled me to my core. Just one picture was taken of Wade Moor backstage after the incident. Rest In Peace, Cory Cane. You will never be forgotten. Goodbye, WCF. You have lost a viewer in Josh Isenberg.
