The numbers are in from this weekend and Eye in the Sky takes a nose dive from its already low projection only making a total of $28 million this weekend! Foreign hasn't come in but it is not looking good for the Philip K. Dick adaptation. When reached for comment, this is all Gable had to say:
"Oh...yeah...I haven't even thought about the movie since last night...I guess it's pretty bad...I don't know...I guess I am just numb, this is not the first time its happened to me so I am not sure how I am supposed to feel. It is just kind of par for the course..."
Lisa Seymour was a little more responsive after Gable's almost dead eyed response.
"Look, this was a pretty bad hit. There is a lot to be answered for and right now we don't have the answers. We are even having a difficult time getting in contact with anyone from the studio. It is a shame that such a thing has happened but it is not the first time in Hollywood and it has happened to some of the greatest movies ever made, so we are not going to bow out just yet. As for Gable, I promise this will not be the last you've seen of him!"
