The Philip K. Dick adaptation "Eye in the Sky" starring WCF wrestler John Gable, debuted in the Box Office this weekend but what was originally projected as a promising $20 million Friday release projection has been revealed to drop to $15 million. When reached for comment, this is what John Gable had to say:
"Everyone who worked on the movie are remaining positive and thinking that it just a little end of the summer sluggishness and we should be well on our way to usual Box Office business...Maybe some people are just waiting to see if I can beat the infamous Joey Flash before giving me their hard earned dollar, haha."
The other cast and crew members declined to comment on the matter as we still have the rest of the weekend to go but so far, it is not looking good for what is the most expensive Philip K. Dick adaptation yet.

No third act; pedestrian plotting and asinine performances condemn this whimsical flirtation with Dick to the history books after week two tops. Neill blomkamp's original, much more powerful vision should have been kept in tact. Yet, after the lackluster performance of, "Chappie" I can see why changes were made, they just went ahead and made all the wrong ones." - Hollywood Reporter.

"This movie is a pseudo-intellectual nightmare! A masturbatory cinematic barf-bag that refuses to end! It tries to hook you with big images that would seem immersive and awe-inspiring but instead come off either disconnected or existentially passe! The direction is lost, the acting is lost, the point is lost, all hope is lost!" - Variety

"Eye in the Sky is blind to it's own faults for most of its ninety seven minute running time. A botched love story feels tacky and tacked on, while the unnecessary action sequences are simply designed to show off it's stars athletic prowess. Somewhere among this unwelcome miasma of cardboard storytelling is Philip K. Dick's original vision; hiding in a corner and crying itself to sleep." - A.V Club
