Okay, curious what you thought of Gable's second RP back.

I'll be honest, I didn't read a lot of promos besides those of my opponents during my runs here, so I'll say this was my real taste of Gable, and the taste was good. I liked the three tier layout, with recap, CD, and shoot flowing smoothly. It was a healthy balance between the three and definitely something I know I need to work on personally, so props to you on that.
Gable, to me, is a complex character. One moment he basically considers himself a personification of Hollywood, a spokesperson of sorts, while he turns around and proceeds to to give advice that I honestly thought was genuine in a jaded way. I appreciate this dualism of sorts, as it adds to the overall character, and think you handled it well (as evident by your victory over Hatch). I'm interested in seeing more of this Gable in the coming weeks
Bonus points for using the Persistence of Memory in a promo. I'm rather fond of that painting. So yeah, if it isn't obvious, thumbs up to your work this week.

Echoing Legion's sentiment, this was one well crafted promo. It didn't drag and there wasn't any "useless" dialogue.
There was plenty of social commentary in the piece too, and I especially loved tgis part:
"John Gable: Lisa...Why do you continue to be a fan?...
Lisa Seymour: You mean of you?...
John Gable: Of everything in general! Oh, poor, innocent, naive Lisa. There are two kinds of people in this world! Professionals and fans! They have two separate demeanors and two separate ideologies. You want me to be good because you want to believe I am what your fan-fantasy has created me to be. So, you will look for anything that will keep me inline with your beliefs. This is a delusion and this too will soon pass. If you want to be an actress like you say you do, then you have to let go of being a fan! The truth is Lisa, the acting never ends! I haven't been a 'real person' since I broke into this business! My views have always adjusted to what they have needed to be for me to get ahead!
Lisa Seymour: But...
John Gable: No buts, Lisa...The thing about being a professional is you are no longer allowed to be human. You have to be an act! You are not allowed to have opinions or ideas when your face is on the big screen so it ends up that you can't have such things even when walking around in public. Sure, I say things sometimes that might seem to contrast with that fact but I say what ever my act allows me to and again my ideas change with what I need. Nothing, not even golden rules are set in stone. I play the bad guy because secretly, deep down, people love a bad guy more than they even love an underdog. They love someone without the bounds of common decency because that is the exact thing they are held back by. And if they boo me it is because they are envious of how free I am.
Lisa still looked in disbelief, probably because I hadn't made the full connection for her yet.
John Gable: Look, this also means sometimes I play what might appear to be a decent person but that is just because acts need a new dimension or they get paper thin. The people need something to sink their teeth in. I am sorry but you got caught up by an act...When you become a celebrity, your life is a reality show whether or not the cameras are on. It is what makes you marketable, it is what makes you stand out. So, if you want to stop being a fan and be a professional...You need to make some changes."
It's almost a "pull" at the condition everyone in the WCF is in. You have to change yourself when the act requires more.
Great promo Gable!
Now hook me up with some feedback, Nilla!!!
