(If you read my last RP before this one, then you know what the hell I'm talking about. If you DIDN'T read my last RP, which I don't care.. really.. don't. Anyhow, if you didn't read my last RP then I made this special little blue start off, just for YOU!)
Logan's body is becoming more limp, and weak. The fear of death rushes over him more now as he lays on top of the log letting the rain drops soak his body even more now. Logan watches the fog of his breath escape his mouth before looking down inside the log. Logan notices that the log is hollow, and actually fairly dry inside. Logan slowly climbs himself inside the log, and this log will become his home for the rest of the cold wet night. Logan tries to make himself as comfortable as he can inside the log, before taking out a pin, and surprisingly dry paper to begin writing a letter. Logan slowly begins to write the letter as his hands tremble, and shake.
Too be continued..
The morning air unleashes upon the forest, the sun hits the old rotted log, and the rain has finally stopped. Logan's eyes gaze open as he lays inside the log, and he looks down over his body which is covered in mud head to toe. The thought of waking up never crossed his mind. Writing the letter last night now seemed pointless, but nevertheless he wasn't out of this yet. Aside from waking up, what surprised Logan more was that he wasn't sick, he didn't even catch a single cold. Logan begins crawling out of the log, his back a bit stiff from the discomfort inside it. Logan finally manages to get himself free from the log, and it's on top of it. Looking around the woods, they look a lot different than then did last night. Given it was dark, and pouring with rain.. but now the woods appeared more clear. Almost peaceful, in a sense. From this point, Logan can hear the river in a distance. He was right about walking around in circles, because he didn't venture far from where his body was washed up on the river bank. Logan stands to his feet stretching, and reaching inside his back pocket unfolding the letter he wrote last night. Logan shreds it into pieces.
Logan: I don't think I'll be needing this anymore. Well, I've managed to cheat death yet once again. I am The Face of Treachery, after all.
Logan makes his way over to the river, hoping that if he walked along it, it might lead him to the bridge that he fell off. While walking along side the river the bridge can be seen off in the distance.
Logan: Thank god.
Logan starts running to the bridge as it becomes closer in sight. Suddenly, Logan trips over a rock, and falls face down into the mud. Light blinds his eyes. The sun that glistens down over the river shines into Logan's eyes. Nothing but bright lights. Logan awakes, on a hospital bed.
Logan: Where am I?
The doctor holds a small flash light over Logan's eye balls as he holds his eye lids open.
Doctor: Mr. Baker?
Logan: Yes..?
Doctor: Mr. Baker, you've been in a short term coma.
Logan: But I was just awake.
Doctor: No, Mr. Baker. You've been asleep for two days.
Logan: Two days? No, I just woke up this morning, in the woods! I even seen the bridge I fell off. What happened?
Doctor: Mr. Baker..
Logan: The letter? You didn't find it did you? That's right, I ripped it to shreds.
Doctor: Letter..? Mr Baker, do you remember the last thing that happened?
Logan: I fell asleep in a log, used it for shelter from the rain, and woke up the next morning.. now I'm here.
Doctor: Hm? You were found unconscious behind a bar two days ago.
Logan: Two days ago? Huh? So, your saying jumping off a bridge, floating in a river, and sleeping inside a log never happened?
Doctor: You were in a deep sleep inside that short coma, it's possible that you just dreamed it up.
Logan: Heh.
Doctor: Rest Mr. Baker, you'll be able to go home sometime today.
Logan: Great, because I have a match tonight.
Logan closes his eyes, laying on the hospital bed before falling asleep.
