As you may be aware, Seth Lerch's WCF (Wrestling Championship Federation) closed several months ago due to Mr. Lerch's commitment to other projects. However, inspired by Futurama coming back after several years and hoping to inspire someone else to make new episodes of Firefly or a Serenity sequel, Mr. Lerch has decided to bring WCF back.

In a way.

Mr. Lerch will host the first annual WCF Classic.

The WCF Classic will be a tournament beginning on December 30th. As such, you must sign up quickly to secure your spot. Of course, if we don't get enough interest, the Classic will not be taking place.

Exact details are as of yet unknown; Creeping Death's involvement, for instance, and the status of the WCF World Heavyweight Title. Time will tell.

AP (Associated Press) reports: Former WCF World and Television champion Bobby Cairo has scheduled a 3PM (ET) press conference in New York City. It is widely believed that Cairo will address WCF owner Seth Lerch's recent press release regarding the first annual WCF Classic.

Cairo is also expected to address his ongoing feud with former WWE superstar Marty Jannetty, his rumored bid for the United States presidency, and his relationship with troubled British jazz singer Amy Winehouse.
