wcfwrestling.proboards.com/thread/25909/war-ice-creamHey guys, I'll make this short so as not to overstay any welcomes. This is a very good time for me to finally decide to ask for feedback on Teo del Sol, while I currently don't have many storylines going. Leading up to US, character development was kind of tied up in the events of the David Sanchez feud, but anyway... I'm kind of amazed at the direction that Teo has been going in since joining, it has really been fun to try and write him as a lovable everyman who sticks up for the little guys, but frankly it's kind of switching directions a bit. He had the opportunity to be heroic at Showdown and now he's almost going in the direction of a literal superhero, which is sweet but also kind of hurrican-ey. So, frankly, I want to know what parts of the character you guys have enjoyed reading the most, and which parts you skim over. I've had scenes of Teo torturedly stumbling around a hotel room and scenes of him handing out Ice cream to children, it's kind of a wide gap. Okay, don't take it too easy on me, my goal is always to entertain, is there any way I could entertain you guys more?

So after facing off aginst you this week, and after just now re-reading your promo, the main idea in my head is that Teo Del Sol is the closest thing I've seen recently in WCF of a 100% pure babyface. This is awesome, and it is a perfect foil to the downright disgusting characters in the fed like Henson, or the antiheroes like Vic who do bad things but are sympathetic to a fault. I think it's imperative the fed has these types of characters to make the roster a little more diverse in terms of alignment divisions.
Having said that, the main gripe I have with the promo is that, if at all possible, I think Teo came off way too hard as trying to be the good guy, especially with the whole purse snatcher thing. I can just can't shake these images of Superman flying around stopping bank robbers and shit, and it did get to a point where it felt just a tad silly. I'm not saying Teo SHOULDN'T try and be the hero of the fed, I think that it's a really cool angle you can try to do. My only request is that it not be so "on the nose" if that makes any sense. Stuff like him getting excited for his match is superb and that's the type of stuff I'd probably like to see.
Other than a few phrases that didn't make sense to me all too much, I loved the promo, and I hope others liked it just as much as I did.
