“Somewhere back there I left my worries all behind, my problems fell out of the back of my mind…”

The scene fades into the city park that we saw Skyler Striker in a few weeks ago. The difference to then is that this time, the park is bright, and happy families are scattered around the place. The colourful playgrounds are filled with children, scampering about over the monkey bars and the slides. There are various shaded tables in which there are mothers talking about their houses and children while those children run around the pond, feeding ducks. And of course, the park has the only person who could possibly be worth mentioning by name due to the fact that it has already been mentioned – Skyler Striker – walking down one of the paths. Skyler is dressed in a casual pair of blue jeans and a black shirt with the simple letters ‘WCF’ on it. He is not without his sunglasses and he speaks straight to the camera.
SS: They say that the end of a saga means the beginning of another. Yet this time, there is an exception to the rule. Danny Vice and I began a saga, about two months ago, if I recall. And at School of Pain, I finished that saga. Yet still it continues. Elsewhere, I face Danny Vice for a World Championship. A saga has finished, yet it seems the same saga continues. I have no doubt that Danny and I will continue that saga here. It won’t end anytime soon. Danny, by losing that ladder match, has gained himself a shot at me anytime over the next year. He can have it, I wait for the day that he hands it in, so that I can fight him again. By that time, Danny may be a champion. I can guarantee you, Danny, that by the time we face each other again, I will have the WCF Hardcore Championship around my waist. And it begins this week, when I face former WCF legend Neo and David Alastair.
At the mention of Alastair’s name, Skyler shudders a bit. He continues his walk down the path and waves at a few of his friends in one of the shaded pavilions.
SS: I’ve been using my time after School of Pain to relax. To enjoy my time with Jade, to rest my muscles, to not have Danny on my mind for once. And now I can get back into the spirit of things, ready for Helloween, when I will face Jack of Blades for his Hardcore Title. but this week, I get back into action against two men. One I know, one I don’t. The man I don’t know is Neo. All I know is that he was in the WCF before, a World Champion, and then he was not. Well, Neo, times come and go. Eras of men pass. You, my friend, are a thing of the past. Your time has come and gone, and new stars have risen. One of those stars is me. Remember my name, Neo – you’d do well to respect the name of a champion. And so I have one other name to mention – David Alastair.
Skyler takes off his sunglasses, revealing a pair of furious red eyes, and puts them in his pocket as he walks and talks.
SS: David, you reckon you’ve had no problems facing your opponents outside WCF? Let me give you a little reminder. Roll the clip.
The clip shows of an episode of YPW: Warzone, namely the Pure Title Battle Royal. It sees David Alastair and Skyler Striker as the last two participants, and Skyler hits the Fatebringer for the pinfall. Skyler holds the title high as the clip ends and we go back to the park.
SS: No trouble, huh? You faced me and lost the Pure Title. End game for you, pal. I’ve beaten you once and I’ll beat you again. I’m heading places, Alastair. You aren’t. You’re heading down a road you’ve traveled before. That road last time led you to be crucified. This time, the road will maybe not have the same holes and bumps, but the end destination is the same. You’ll cry your sorry, broken, beaten and bruised body out of the WCF and come back when you think you can take everyone on again. I’d wish you good luck, Alastair, but there’s no such thing as luck. There’s no such thing as chance. And if there’s no such thing as chance, there’s no second chance. Which means you’ve exhausted your options. See you in the ring at Slam, Alastair.
Skyler flips his sunglasses back onto his eyes and goes to move away from the camera, but hesitates and gives it one last look.
SS: Oh, and Jack? Don’t forget about me. I’m coming straight for you and your title, so enjoy it while you can.
Skyler walks away from the camera, which stops following him. He exits through the gates of the park and the scene fades out.
