We start off tonight on a roof. A roof of a normal building in Anytown, USA. We quickly notice that Reckless Jack is standing on the roof, looking around at the people walking below him. It is a rather cold night but that doesn't seem to phase Reckless Jack in the least bit as he as a t-shirt on with a pair of shorts. He smirks at the camera as he wipes his shirt as if there was something on there. The shirt upon further notice is really a hooded sweatshirt. It is one of the those shameless self promoting things with his logo and stuff on it. Oh well, whatever gets revenue. Anyways, Reckless Jack just stands on the edge of the roof. The wind starts to blow, a huge gust in fact. Reckless Jack steps back a couple of feet until he finds himself towards the middle of this roof with a chair near him. How convinent is that? Reckless Jack sits down and well, he just sits down. He folds his hands and leans forward.
Reckless Jack: So the countdown to One has already begun. January 28th, 2007, the third One in WCF history will be taking place. Now I know there is a lot of time between now and then but it appears that the main event was already set at Revenge. However, before I go indepth, a word about Revenge if I may...
Reckless Jack chuckles.
Reckless Jack: Yes you all saw me fall at the hands of Logan that night. I lost the match, pretty damn fair and square. But, it took Logan two Connectors to keep me down. It seems like everytime we step into the ring, he has to do everything in his damn power to beat me. I have gone over the history pretty damn well of Logan and myself before Revenge so there is no need to repeat myself there. It's no secret that I don't like Logan. I do respect the man in some ways but I'll never, like the old cliche goes, sit down and have Christmas Dinner with him. After Revenge, I still have to say that Logan, no matter how hard he tries, can't keep me down for long. I had him, there was no doubt that I had Logan but, like most of the time, the ref goes down in a Logan match. Let's face it, a Logan match where the ref doesn't fall on his ass, isn't really a Logan match. The man knows all the underhanded tactics to win. So, like I said, I lost at Revenge. However, Logan felt the need to interject himself in the main event that night. He cost Creeping Death the World Title most likely. So, I was compled to run down to the ring and show Logan what's up.
Reckless Jack shrugs his shoulders.
Reckless Jack: Then what happened next, I never would have expected. Kyle Steel walks out onto the stage with a microphone in his hand. He announces that on the third ever One Pay Per View, that Torture will be taking on Logan and Creeping Death and Reckless Jack. I didn't know what to think. I mean, the last time I stepped into the ring with Torture, I sprained my neck and we all know what happened after that. One is my chance at redemption. There was a little show in Feburary this year, it was call Till Death Do Us Part. When I won that match and the World Title, WCF changed. I thought we had gotten rid of Logan from the main event scene for good but how wrong was I? When I returned from my sprained neck at Ultimate Showdown, who did I see in the main event? I saw Logan vs. Torture. But who won that match? Torture did. Who beat me in the main event of Aftermath? Torture did. Who beat Creeping Death at Revenge? Torture did. Torture has shown us that he can survive in whatever match he needs to against one other guy. But at One, it won't be a singles match, its a Four Way Dance.
Reckless Jack stops for a minute to compose his thoughts.
Reckless Jack: It appears I am getting ahead of myself though. This week, there is a tag team match on Slam. The teams are something no one would have ever guessed. On one side, you have Torture and Logan. Now it's no secret that those two hate each other but they have that common factor, they both love that WCF World Championship. There will be quite the team if they can get along. Then on the other side of the ring, you have myself teaming with someone who I never though I would team with. I am teaming with a man who I defeated in the very first One. A man who I defeated in a TLC match, a man who I pinned at War VI, a man who I pinned at Till Death Do Us Part. But then again, this man has beaten me quite a few times as well. This Sunday, for the first time ever, Reckless Jack will be teaming with Creeping Death. Like Torture and Logan, we don't much care for each other but we have that one factor that binds us. We have that goal of defeating the man that we hate. Yeah, Creeping Death wants to beat the living hell out of Torture and I would like to do likewise with Logan.
Reckless Jack leans back in the chair and crosses his legs.
Reckless Jack: People would think it would be smart for us to try to co exist in order to take care of Logan and Torture but who knows when that old hate will bring itself up to the surface. I mean, Creeping Death could turn on me in the match or I could turn on him. I have no intentions of doing so but with Creeping Death, you don't know. The man is quite the egnigma of sorts. I think I know him well enough though that he would have enough honor not to do anything stupid on Slam. The one thing I don't need right now is dealing with his gothic bullshit. No offense to you Creeps but sometimes, you kind of freak me out. The way you act is a bit strange but our pasts aren't that similiar. Your father used to beat on you and your siblings. Likewise with my father but I didn't end up killing him in self defense. Both of our mothers are dead. And I will make it no secret then when I started, I wanted to be like Creeping Death. Right down to the way you acted, I wanted to do the same. But I grew out of wanting to be Creeping Death and grew into being the first Reckless Jack.
He closes his eyes.
Reckless Jack: As far as this match goes though, I don't care if I win this one. I mean, it would be a good win to have and all but it's not at the top of my list. First thing on my list is making sure that Logan gets his ass beaten. Second thing on my list is making sure Torture and his agent get their ass kicked. I know one thing for sure though, not matter what happens, I will make sure that when One rolls around that Logan or Torture will not walk out of that event with that World Title. I don't care if you win it Creeps, I just don't care. But perhaps I should focus on the now instead of the future...
