Gemini tried to make a splash upon entering the WCF. He used Ex-Superstar LIVEWIRE Grayson Pierce to make a name for himself. During Pierce’s reintroduction promo in the center of the ring at Slam Gemini attacked him, hung him upside down on a cross and burnt the cross and subsequently Pierce as well.
Fortunately for Pierce Gemini had doused him in Formula 54 which is a fire retardant spray that he uses in his torture techniques. Lighting a man aflame even without physical distress causes enough mental distress to force a man to give up the information that he requires. He then brainwashed Gemini and his family including his wife, his father, and his uncle to be in his army. Pierce and his wife became trained mission operatives, his Uncle is a scientific genius so he is head of that department and his father was made to be the military leader of his army.
This was Gemini’s MO when he began in the WCF. His intention was to be the most vicious and diabolical superstar the WCF had ever seen and wanted to use his riches and massive advanced technology to assist him in achieving all of the goals he thought imaginable.
He came in with many championships under his belt and just leaving a very successful run at another federation that he left because the competition wasn’t strong enough. He came to the WCF and was immediately humbled and impressed by the talent pool. His evil billionaire persona was getting lost in the crowd so he tried to figure out a way to become noticed other than that through sheer brutality and force of will. This never came to fruition as his riches were taken away from him as was his power.
It was taken away from him by a man who underwent the same type of torture that he had gone through to turn him into the Joker Looking character that is his poser. It is not makeup rather a man-made skin condition that forces him to look so terrifyingly disfigured. The man who did this is named Liam Henson. He kidnapped Gemini’s friends and closest confidants Roscoe and Marcus.
As this was happening a friendship was forming between Gemini Battle and Thomas Bates. Thomas Bates and Gemini met in their WCF debut where Bates tossed Gemini about 25 feet into the crowd and picked up the pin on their third competitor in the triple threat match they were placed in. They had a few more interactions with each other forming a great deal of respect between the two warriors.
When the time came for the Trio’s Championship Tournament they teamed up and enlisted the help of Gonzo Murdock who Gemini also befriended through their journey. He was given a motorcycle and asked to join the DRG which he graciously eventually accepted and named himself Grand Puba. (not a real title) He is not the ideal fit for a Motorcycle club as he has little experience with the machines but it is the brotherhood and comradery that draws him to it.
In joining forces with the DRG the fans began to enjoy his antics. The fans began to like Gemini. At first this bothered him but then he started reaping the benefits of being a fan favorite and now he embraces and uses it for his own benefit. He will be moving forward to use this goodwill he has garnered to hopefully do good for others as well. He feels it is unfortunate that he has this generous nature now but nothing to give as he used to. Finally after a month of wrestling he, Bates and Murdock won the Trio’s Championship belt.
Gemini was over the moon happy and his face started to clear up. This disfigurement that he sought a cure for all these years was made clearer by happiness. His sorrow added to his physical nature and his joy cleared it up. Gemini’s face now only held the scars of torture that would never go away. He still paints his war paint on his face before matches to keep the mystique.
While this was happening Livewire and Kat had realized their allegiance to Gemini was no longer controlled by brainwashing but an actual care for the man and Vanessa and the rest of his inner circle. They rescued his friend Roscoe from the grips of Liam Henson and now the group lives in Livewire’s home on Long Island.
Tragedy has struck. It is revealed to Gemini that Marcus has turned on the group. The group cannot understand how a 15 year friendship could be turned but Gemini knows why and he revealed it to his new family.
It turns out, long story short, that through the torture that turned Gemini into a monster it also destroyed the bodies and minds of Vanessa (his lover) and Marcus (his best friend) Through a successful brain and thought transplant of Marcus’ brain into Vanessa’s Body she was able to survive. The thoughts that were removed from Marcus’s head were implanted into the hard drive of a cyborg he was able to build.
Gemini was the only living person who knew this to be fact. The reason Marcus could be swayed was because he could be reprogrammed to do so. This news hit Vanessa hard and she left Gemini. He still has the love and support of Grayson, Kat, and Roscoe. But the love of his life is gone now and his best friend’s robotic life will likely have to end by his hands.
