Backstory: Reckless Jack has a pregnant wife that he hasn't seen a couple of months due to his life on the road. So, yeah, sets it up.

We open in the apartment of Reckless Jack. There is a Christmas Tree in the corner of the room with a few presents under it. The door to the place opens up as we see Reckless Jack walk into the apartment. He has a few suitcases in his hands and sets them down and whatnot. Soon after, the very wife of Reckless Jack, Lucy enters the room. She goes to sit down on the couch. Reckless Jack sits down next to her. The two look at each other, Reckless Jack has love in his eyes but Lucy appears to be, not herself really. Reckless Jack gets up and gets the gifts and brings them over to her.

Lucy: Thank you Bradley.

Reckless Jack: You are welcome. How are you feeling? I expected you to be a bit bigger by now.

Lucy: Yeah, I don't know what is going on...

Lucy shrugs a tad bit. Reckless Jack does the same.

Reckless Jack: So go ahead and open up this big package first.

Lucy: Okay.

Lucy opens the biggest package and what do we see? A baby crib, for the baby on the way!

Lucy: ...Thanks

Reckless Jack: I figured you would like it. Go ahead and open the next one.

Lucy grabs another gift and tears the paper off. She has a smile on her face as we see that it is a nice dress.

Lucy: Oh wow, this is beautiful Brad.

Reckless Jack: The lady who helped me said you would like it. And you do, so that makes me happy.

Lucy: I bet so.

Reckless Jack: The next gift is the last one but I think you'll like it the best.

Lucy: Okay...

Lucy grabs the smallest box. She unwraps it and finds a smaller box. She opens that up to see a new ring. Reckless Jack smiles at her as she is in amazement.

Reckless Jack: Do you like that? Biggest diamond I could find.

Lucy: Yes, oh god yes. I'll make sure to wear this all the time.

Reckless Jack: Alright. I was hoping you would.

Lucy: I suppose you want your gift don't you?

Reckless Jack: Whenever you are ready to give it to me...

Lucy: Let me go to my suitcase and get it.

Lucy gets up and walks to the suitcase. She pulls out a box with a bow on it. Lucy walks back over to Jack and hands him the box. Reckless Jack grins.

Reckless Jack: I hope this is what I think it is!

Lucy: You'll be surprised by it.

Reckless Jack keeps his smile until he opens the box. His face goes blank.

Reckless Jack: What?...

Lucy: Do you like your gift?

Reckless Jack: I don't understand this? What the fuck...

Lucy: While I was at "home" with my "mom and dad" I went and had an abortion.

Reckless Jack is on the verge of tears.

Reckless Jack: But why?

Lucy: Oh, that is the simple part. I don't want to carry your fucking kid in me.

Reckless Jack: I still don't understand this Lucy.

Lucy: Are you fucking stupid or something? I never loved you fuckhead. Like most people warned you about, I was only with you for the money. Simple as that.

Reckless Jack: But...

Lucy: This gets better. The past year, I have been fucking someone else.

Reckless Jack puts his hands over his face.

Lucy: All the times I was gone, I was out fucking your best friend.

Reckless Jack looks up at her.

Lucy: Oh, I would go over to his place and suck his cock for hours on end.

Lucy: Behind the abortion documents, you'll find divorce papers as well. I've already signed them.

Reckless Jack stops for a minute and goes to his room. He quickly returns with a gun.

Reckless Jack: Give me one good reason...

Lucy: The cops are outside the door.

Reckless Jack: ...The fuck...

Police barrel through the door. They look at Lucy's bloody face. She smiles as Reckless Jack is in disbelief.

Reckless Jack: You know, I should have seen this coming but I didn't. You have fucking ruined me and my life. I hope you burn in hell, whore.

Lucy: Oh, I'm fairly certain that I will but...

Reckless Jack: Shut the fuck up. Get your hands off of me.

Reckless Jack motions for the cop to back off. The cop does a tad bit but not much in case Jack does something stupid.

Reckless Jack: Hey police man, how long do you think I'll be in jail?

Cop: Well, post bail and you'll be out in the next couple of days. If she presses charges that is.

Lucy: Oh I'm not going to. Let him go if you want to. I just want to fuck his life completely up.

Cop: Since I am no longer needed here.

The cop leaves the room. Reckless Jack stands there just staring at Lucy.

Reckless Jack: I bet that wasn't a real cop.

Lucy: Probably right. But get your shit and get the fuck out of my apartment.

Reckless Jack: Whatever.

Reckless Jack goes to his room and starts to pack up all of the things he needs. He leaves the bedroom and is starting to head out the door. He stops for a second though.

Reckless Jack: Why do I have to leave my fucking apartment?

Lucy: Because all I have to do is make a phone call to a real cop and have you arrested in a heartbeat for beating me.

Reckless Jack shakes his head and spits towards Lucy.

Reckless Jack: See you in hell you fucking whore.

Lucy: You are already there.

Reckless Jack is halfway out the door before...

Lucy: Oh and Brad...

Reckless Jack: What the fuck now?

Lucy: Have a Merry Christmas.

Reckless Jack makes a fist but takes a breath and leaves the apartment as he has just had his life fucked all to hell...
