Following a heinous attack by one Jayson Price, who still ate a Burning Hammer, mind you - Corey Black was scheduled for an MRI Tuesday morning. The scan revealed what most assumed, a fractured ulna. Corey is scheduled for surgery to put a metal plate in place of part of his ulna in his elbow later this week, a recovery time of 4-6 months is suggested. Corey, however, has other plans. We spoke to him earlier today.
"Nothing is keeping me out of the Trios Finals. It'll be my third year in a row, seemingly my last hurrah with Jonny Fly, and our third partner we've taken to the Finals. I'll be there with a cast on if I have to," Corey told us. When asked about the surgery, he added; "they're putting metal in my elbow. You bitches thought it was a weapon before? Prepare for some Lex Luger type shit."
