The scene opens inside the new Vice family mansion. The living room has an elegant 12 foot ceiling, complete with a window overlooking the San Diego coastline that stands from floor to ceiling. Yes, the entire wall of this room is one giant window. Inside the room is a luxurious rich brown leather couch. Upon that couch, sits Jimmy and Janie Vice. Jimmy looks somewhat nervous, while Janie has an open leather folder open across her lap. Her hair is tied in a bun with a pencil through it. Her reading glasses make her look increasingly intelligent, as well as strikingly attractive in one of those Van Halen “Hot for Teacher” kind of ways.
Next to the large couch is a leather chair of similar color and style, complete with a footrest, where Danny “The Vagrant” Vice is resting his feet. He looks disinterested in the entire conversation occurring in the room, as he stares blankly at the chandelier that hangs from the ceiling. His dress is also different from his latest appearances, wearing a fur vest (a la ‘Johnny Nitro’) instead of his regular long dark leather coat.
Across the room sits Jake Hudson, the manager of Vice’s tag team partner JJ Biggs. One of the most respected managers, Jake is always donning a nice suit and his flashy Rolex watch. Jake also has paperwork on his lap, and has loosened his tie in the heat of negotiations and debate with the Vice family.
Jake Hudson: So you're trying to tell me you guys bought this home off of Danny's bonuses?
Janie Vice: Yes. We were going to buy a house inland, but with Danny joining the Team of Treachery, he was able to pick up a decent size bonus in his contract with WCF for that tag team title he has in his hands. Not to mention he's had some success in a few smaller federations nowadays.
Jake Hudson: I thought you guys were buying a house inland. I mean, weren't you essentially bankrupt when Skyler attacked Jimmy a few months back. But this, this is just beautiful. I am truly happy for you all.
Janie Vice: Please Mr. Hudson. Flattery will get you nowhere. These are serious negotiations to map out the future of Disorder by Design. JJ chose Danny for this role, so we feel it is the best interest for everyone that Danny begins every match as the legal man.
Jake Hudson: What? Why? JJ Biggs defended these titles multiple times without anyone's help. He fought off the only excuse for a tag team the WCF even has in The Sick Individuals MULTIPLE times. In fact, the man is simply a better wrestler than Danny. Although we appreciate Danny's help, Biggs is the man who begins every match.
Janie Vice: Fine, Biggs starts them off, but Danny makes all pinfalls and submissions.
Jake Hudson: That is absurd. You want their victories to be preplanned?
Janie Vice: Mr. Hudson, we both know the rest of this federation is a joke outside of the Team of Treachery. The Sick Individuals are on strike because they realized that those two weren't even capable of defeating one man. Devastation Inc. fled the federation altogether because they were unable to compete with anyone, let alone two people with the power and ring command as Danny and Biggs. The New Dynasty is dead. This Wal-Mart Liberation whatever Alastair and Schultz call it, is no more than a joke. And who do we even face this weekend?
Jake Hudson: Velocity. Sean Something and some douchebag nicknamed guy whose name is like Hazy or something. This is their first match and Seth wants to make a statement by putting them up against the most feared tag team in the federation their first time around. Yes, Ms. Vice, I understand that there is nothing left of the tag team division in the WCF. It got so desperate around here they were throwing singles competitors together to try and beat Biggs. But I refuse, to just arbitrarily say that Danny makes all pinfalls and submissions.
Jimmy Vice: DANNY RULES!
Jake Hudson: Huh?
Janie Vice: Sorry, he's a little different. Look, Mr. Hudson, your client isn't even here. What kind of dedication is he showing to this team?
Jake Hudson: He is actually training right now, which he does constantly, rather than sit around his lavish new mansion like Danny is right here. Biggs will be here soon. He would never miss this.
Danny Vice: Look, both of you, stop it. There is only one thing that matters come this weekend. That The Vagrant, and the most unstoppable force in the WCF, JJ Biggs work together as one. Disorder by Design is going to inflict an amount of pain that these young rookies have never imagined. There will be suffering. There will be destruction. And in the end, there will still be tag title gold around the waists of The Vagrant and JJ Biggs. Not because Disorder by Design wants to have the gold, but because the gold does not belong anywhere else. This is the Team of Treachery, not some two-bit stable from the past, but the present and future of professional wrestling. Quit haggling, and figure out a way both management teams can coexist. No distractions may occur. There is already enough on The Vagrant's mind with that damn Skyler Striker again and his match with Jack of Blades. Now, get to work, The Vagrant is heading downstairs to train.
Danny gets up and leaves the room, just as a knock is heard at the front door.
Jake Hudson: And there JJ is now.
Janie Vice closes the folder on her lap and she places it on the side-table. She stands upright and casually makes her way towards the door. She opens it, backing up a few feet to allow JJ Biggs to enter, before firmly shaking his hand. He nods before walking past her and taking a seat on the couch next to his manager and friend, Jake Hudson.
Janie closes the door softly before walking back to her seat. She grabs the folder, places it back on her lap, and opens it up once again.
Janie Vice: Where were we?
Jake Hudson: We were finishing a few last-minute negotiations regarding Mr. Vice teaming with my client.
Janie Vice: Indeed. I was thinking of maybe having a few promotional posters put together to not only promote Disorder by Design and Team of Treachery, but WCF has a whole. I suggest having Danny in the center of the poster and having Mr. Biggs in the background.
Jake Hudson: Why would you even suggest such a terrible idea? If anything, Danny Vice shouldn't even be on the poster!
Janie Vice: I'm sorry?
Jake Hudson: Listen, I came here today hoping to have a nice conversation about the future of Disorder by Design. Danny Vice and JJ Biggs together has the potential to become one of the most dominating forces in the history of this company. Scratch that, one of the most dominating forces in this entire industry! Now, for the past thirty minutes we have been arguing about ridiculous things. We need to allow JJ and Danny to wrestle, which is what they do best.
Janie Vice: You're right, I apologize. Mr. Biggs, how was your training?
JJ Biggs: Good. Where's Danny? I need to go over a few things with him regarding our match against......who's the team we're facing again?
Janie Vice and Jake Hudson: Velocity.
Jake and Janie both look at each other.
Janie Vice: He was asking me.
Jake Hudson: I believe you're wrong, Ms. Vice. The question was to me and you decided to interfere.
JJ Biggs: It doesn't matter. The question wasn't to anyone in general.
Janie Vice: Anyway, Danny is currently training. He'll be back in a while.
JJ Biggs: I see. Anyway, Velocity, does this team appear to be any good?
Janie Vice: Not sure. I haven't been able to pull any real information regarding the team besides a few personal information. It's not really relevant that they are from Canada, and that's pretty much the extent of my intelligence regarding them.
Jake Hudson: Same here.
JJ Biggs: Canada? Hah! That right there means that they lack the talent needed to compete in this company. Most of the company doesn't have the talent to compete with Danny and myself as is, so you already know they are screwed. Either way, this is going to be a perfect way for Danny and I to have our first match from beginning to end together. Obviously, you two don't seem to be on the same page, which is fine, because I'm confident that whatever problems you to have will be worked out. However, I know Danny and I will be able to get it done in the ring and we will have these titles in our possession for a while because there isn't a team in this company right now that can take these titles away from us.
Jimmy Vice: DANNY RULES!
Jake Hudson: You're weird, man. Simply put, just weird. Anyway, Danny may have a problem focusing entirely on the match, JJ.
Janie Vice: Are you trying to say that Danny is stupid?
Jake Hudson: No, he has to special referee a match against his nemesis Skyler Striker and Jack of Blades. Do you not remember anything?
Janie Vice: Oh, right.
JJ Biggs: It doesn't matter. I can handle this team by myself if I needed to. Danny will be focused on this match ENOUGH to where we'll still leave the champions. While we're on the topic of his special refereeing duties, he needs to do whatever it takes to make sure Jack of Blades walks out still the WCF Hardcore Champion.
Janie Vice: That is going to happen, Mr. Biggs. Danny has a hatred for Skyler that cannot be defined by words.
JJ Biggs: Good.
Janie Vice: Would you like to go into the kitchen and get something to drink? Eat, maybe?
JJ Biggs: Sure.
Jake Hudson: Yeah.
Jimmy Vice: DANNY RULES!!!!
Janie places her folder back on the side-table and she slowly leads the group into the kitchen.
