The scene opens with a cameraman and Hank Brown standing inside of the Vice family home in San Diego, California. The living room area is empty, as is the kitchen, yet neither is in their usual clean, and tidy state. You see, Janie Vice, Danny's younger sister, is a huge neat freak. She usually refuses to allow Danny or Jimmy any of the common freedoms desired by a twentysomething male: feet up on the coffee table, eating dinner while watching TV, and breaking out into a no holds barred wrestling match in your living room when your favorite character on Big Brother is eliminated by your brother's number one choice. The simple things in life really.
The cameraman pans right and left and then begins walking down a long hallway toward the stairs, following the WCF's very own, Hank Brown. On the walls are pictures hanging of Danny, Jimmy, and Janie. Most of them are of highlights from Danny and Jimmy's early wrestling careers. Independent circuit titles, amateur wrestling performances, and multiple action shots from Danny's first few matches in WCF and PWA line this long corridor toward the front of the house. Hank has the gall to make a few unfunny comments about Danny's tattoos and ring attire, when he himself is wearing an old dusty suit purchased before the innovation of the moonsault. As Hank and his trusted cameraman approach the stairs, they hear shouting from above.
Hank: Come on, we can get an exclusive with Danny Vice after Skyler Striker brutally attacked his brother and damaged his car.
The cameraman shakes his head, and along with it, the camera. Hank drops his hands to his side and stares into the camera. He shoots one of those faces that mothers shoot to their small child when they're being too loud at the supermarket. Hank turns and heads up the stairs, followed by a rather unhappy associate.
The duo lurk up the stairs with a sense of fear rushing through them to their very core as the shouting gets louder and louder. When they reach the top of the stairs, Hank turns back to the camera points toward the master bedroom. He opens the door quickly in an attempt to catch Danny in the heat of all his emotion and passion.
Danny, Danny Vice please tell me and the WCF fans what you think of Skyler Striker's attack on your brother.
Janie: Please, just get out of here and leave my brother alone. We just received a phone call from the Scripps Medical Hospital and need to go check on Jimmy.
Janie pushes Hank and the cameraman back toward the bedroom door, but Hank refuses to lose the exclusive so quickly.
What is the status of young Jimmy Vice?
We don't know yet, please leave us alone!
Hank notices a hole in the wall directly across from the bedroom door the size of a fist. Danny is banging the sides of his head just a few steps away from that whole. His right hand trickles blood from the knuckles, and spit is forming on the sides of his mouth, making him look as if he is truly foaming with anger.
Danny: Janie! Stop! Let them come in. The Vagrant has something to say.
Janie allows Hank and his cameraman back into the room. The footage captures Hank slowly walk across the room, microphone in hand.
What would you like to say about the attack today on your younger brother?
Skyler Striker, the Vagrant is going to make this very simple, and very clear. What you did today is a disgrace? To attack a young man with a weapon without rhyme or reason is exactly why the Vagrant came to the WCF in the first place...to exterminate the disease from this federation.
Did you not attack Skyler Striker just several weeks ago on Slam without any rhyme or reason?
Hank, the Vagrant suggests you keep the questions to yourself before he puts another whole in his wall the size of your skull. So Skyler Striker, the Vagrant has a challenge for you. School of Pain, this entire feud comes to its culmination. You pick the match. The Vagrant just wants you to show. And at School of Pain, your infecting with the plans of The Vagrant, and the entire Vice family, comes to an end.
And what of Reckless Jack? Did you hear his latest promotion in regards to your match this weekend at Slam?
Reckless Jack talks about his feuds with superstars like Nate Nytro and Creeping Death. He runs his mouth about how he took Torture to the limit for the World Title at Aftermath. He yammers about how he headlined Slam, won matches at One, and is a former World Champion. The man literally does so much talking, and chatting, and mouthing off, that the Vagrant fines it astonishing he ever has time to wrestle! Reckless Jack, all your days of glory, all the name-dropping, all the whining, and neck injuries, and championships...that is all in the past, my friend. And the future of the WCF, stands here in front of you now. When you said that your road to the top was going to be a "long road back"...you had absolutely no idea how long, difficult, and painful, the Vagrant would make that road be. Now get the hell out of my house.
Danny shoves Hank Brown away and then grabs the camera and smashes it on the floor. The tape ends with a fuzzy black and white screen.
