10/12/06…
“Given my unexplained disappearance from the wrestling scene after my loss against Creeping Death, I fought adversaries I never thought would exist. It was a Wednesday, I could barely remember…where I awoke to see a woman leaning against my hospital bed. As the situation accelerated, I realized that she wasn’t human. That’s where I blacked out. A couple flashes of light, screams thousand-fold, and impulses stemming from the depths of soul are the only times where I could feel anything. During the period of darkness, I was numb all over. It wasn’t just the feeling you got when you stayed out in the cold, it was more like being frozen in the eternity of time itself.
When I woke up from the grasp of ageless sleep, the woman was gone. It seemed like I was just dumped out to a wasteland. My head was throbbing and my cheeks were burning. A set of belongings lay by my side. Besides those possessions, it was just me against the elements. Night was approaching fast, and with desert surroundings…you can easily put one and one together. That walk in search of civilization (which I have succeeded in doing) was the longest trek I have ever endured. This walk also left me with a serious question. Why did this mysterious force, person, whoever or whatever controlled me just leave me out in the middle of nowhere? Why didn’t they just kill me and get it over with?
However, those questions were to be left on the backburner…for now.
Back to finding civilization (a small village), I found myself in an alien land. I tried to ask the inhabitants where I was located, but they looked at me as if they saw an apparition. Thanks to some helpful persons, I was nourished and sent on my way.
From this point on, I began my search for answers to those questions. But…I also had something more lingering inside. Perhaps this wondering and living in poverty would help me. With that, I spent weeks traveling the world, eventually coming back to where I was rehabilitated.
When Mentor and her sisters saw me in my present state, they wondered where I have been. I calmly explained and make an arrangement to where I would compete in the ring again. That promotion was the late Yggdrasil Pro Wrestling. There, I was met with open arms and brought in the both the tag team and singles arenas. From defeating Lind, Jon Michaels, and Ricky Crush to winning the Tag Titles with Craig over the “Untouchables” at YPW Clash marked a fresh new start on my career. However, with the merging with WVWF and the eventual closing of Yggdrasil Pro, I sought to reestablish myself again as a legit person in the ring once again. Hence the reason of the return to WCF, and so far…has been successful with a victory over my new nemesis Skyler Striker and WCF legend Neo.
This week is a true challenge to me though. Thunder, JackHammer, and Brian Cage presently stand in the way in my quest of reemergence. But with my drive to survive and win, which led me through that lethal desert oh so long ago will help me overcome and defeat these fools...
However, I feel the need to return home to visit you soon. From what I’ve heard, you had an accident that left you out of action for awhile. I hope that you will get well more sooner than later. I know that you know some shrinks that can perhaps help me “fill in the blank” a bit.
Sadly, that’s all that I got to tell you, Uncle. I wish for nothing but the best for your health...
Sincerely,
David Alastair Rosenzweig.”[/color]

With the last stroke of the pen, David heaved a sigh and sat back into the darkness. The light from the lamp created contrasts and shadows upon his face. Then, he hunched forward, letting his braids trademarked by his ancestors fell forward as well. As if on cue, he noticed something next to him click on. He glanced over, sitting there for a moment before turning to the camera.
David Alastair: You know, I’m sick of you people interrupting my personal life…
He pauses for another moment while his eyes remained dead locked with the camera lens.
David Alastair: Perhaps…I need to let a little something off of my chest. I’ve been reading up on this “Unholy Alliance” between this Brian Cage and Thunder. One has returned to the sport while the other is People’s Champion…
Wonderful…
First off, Brian Cage, you remind me of some horrible sports mascot, only with a mullet. How 80’s can you get? Enough is said about you. Go back to teaching kids gym class. Now, let’s get to your opponent and “partner”, Thunder. You think money can bring you salvation? Of course not… In eternity, it doesn’t matter how much money you had in your past life. Because it doesn’t matter, for you shall share the line of judgment with both rich and poor and grovel, just like the rest of them.
And last but not least, an opponent who I have faced before. JackHammer. You may have beaten me in WVWF, but you paid the price. And this time come Sunday Slam, you won’t be so lucky.
So all in all, I won’t have a problem. Nothing too major, that is.
Alastair closes his eyes and catches his breath.
David Alastair: Behold! For I have spoken… Now, get the hell out of my sight, you pieces of paparazzi!
Suddenly, Alastair slaps the camera, forcing the camera to hit the ground with a thud while going black at the same time...
