"Gonzo" Deuce Murdock to be Present at Explosion. Confronts entire locker room, staff."
The WCF announces today that "Gonzo" Deuce Murdock will be in attendance at Explosion on Sunday, April 4, 2015.
He has not been scheduled for a match, and it is highly unlikely he will compete at the Pay Per View.
Many remember over a month ago, following a match with Jay Omega, how he was attacked from behind by Joey Flash, then the reigning Television Champion. We had a few words with Gonzo, to which he stated...
"All Joey did was give me a slight concussion and some cracked ribs. Another ho-hum day at the office. But because I'd had a few injuries that had mounted before that night, the doctors told me to stay out of the ring for a month. Well, my month is over, and its time to put my boots back in the WCF."
Many fans are anticipating fireworks upon his arrival, as he was the reigning United States Champion and considered a top candidate to challenge for the World Heavyweight Title at the time of his departure. Deuce had this to say on the subject...
"World Title? Bobby Cairo? Eh, if Seth and the Gods allow it. Not gunning for the title, but I'll be more than happy to kick the taste out of Bobby Cairo's mouth if he wants to press the subject. Title or no title on the line."
Murdock also had this to say to everyone else in the locker room...
"If you got a problem with me, I'm not hard to find. I got plenty of beer and medical-grade weed if you want to hang out and talk it through. But if you want to cause trouble, I'll give you trouble. More trouble than you care to handle in a very short period of time. And that goes for everyone, staff and fellow wrestlers alike."
It seems that his fighting spirit has not suffered one bit, but there are questions as to how effective he can be following an enormous amount of injuries he was fighting through inside of the ring. Will the fans get the "Gonzo" they know and love? Or will this be yet another disappointing return for the 16 year veteran? Only time will tell the tale.
(OOC: Anybody who wishes to have an encounter with Gonzo at Explosion can send me a PM detailing what kind of encounter you wish to have, whether it be friendly or acrimonious. Hit me up, guys!)
