Guys you don't even know how much I am enjoying this new heel thing. It's fun as hell. I hope everyone else is enjoying it. I know that a few of you are. I now rub my hands together before I start posting and RP where as before I was kind of like, "eh let's see where it goes."
And from this point on, if I offend in RP or IC boards, hit me up and let me know to tone it down a notch. I'm going super heel with this so let me at least know if I do cross a barrier IC. It won't be intentional.

I'm new enough that this is only my third post, but this is my take on heels: you'll probably know yourself when you've crossed a line, the bigger question is whether you're okay with that OOC. The beauty of RP is that, in creating a character, we as writers are empowered to say things or create situations we would never actual be comfortable saying or doing. I'm coming back to e-fedding after a long hiatus, but I was in an e-fed which was no-holds-barred on what we RP'd. I played an absolute psychopath who pretty much ran the gamut of awful business someone could do, from holding kids hostage to intentional stirring the PTSD of another superstar who was a veteran.
In my perspective, I'd be more critical of what I'd see as being offensive for the sake of being offensive or getting cheap heat. It's one thing to play an anti-American refuge of the Iraq war who burns the American flag because family of his died as collateral damage during a bombing. It's another thing to have some character burn the American flag because "LOL I'M SUCH A JERK XDXDXD". Another thing to consider is timing; one of WWF's biggest missteps was Sgt. Slaughter's Iraqi Supporter gimmick during Desert Storm because it was actively happening during the conflict. Think of the Muhammad Hassan controversy when the London Bombings happened three days later. It wasn't that these were "offensive", it's that they were incredibly insensitive for the time they were pitched.
Anyway, I don't think you need to worry about rubbing people the wrong way; that's what makes great Heels great! To get a feel for these boards, I've been reading the RPs of others and think you're a great writer with good ideas. Good luck!

LOL well if you ask Q Ball or Dark Prince...there isn't too much I would not actually say RL. I may not do some of the stuff I do in the RP (all the time), but hey...RP right.

I was nervous about the same thing but remember. We have three time machines here that I believe are all actually the same time machine and are just paradoxes of one another...
We understand the difference between fiction and reality, lol

Yup, plenty of time machines around. In addition to the WCF Time Machine Club, you could always ask...
Doc Brown to use his DeLorean or that Train
The Doctor to use his T.A.R.D.I.S.
HG Well's Time Traveler to use his Time Machine
Captain Kirk and crew to use the USS Enterprise and slingshot around the Sun
Sam Beckett to use his Quantum Accelerator (careful though)
The Men In Black, but you might not remember anything about it
Stewie Griffin to use his version of the Time Machine, make sure you have the return pad.
Bill & Ted and their awesome Phone Booth
