@sandman Things have changed since I left. Good. It was getting stale by the end of my reign as World Champion, what with only one man among the masses who was capable of bringing it to an end. And Joey Flash did just that...but not half an hour had passed before the merciless beating I laid on him forced Seth Lerch to strip him of the World Title. But you don't care about that, do you, Joseph? Not now. Not anymore... And who was it that rose in my stead? #BeachKrew, of course. The King of the Sea-Shrouded Mountain, Wade Moor, wears my Title around his waist. Kyle Kemp hopped on board, and wouldn't you know it he still can't do a goddamn thing better than me. Last night Johnny Rabid dared to look me in the eye and feign fearlessness - the fool. And Jared Holmes...well, what more is there to say of the runt aside from RIP? You fucks thought you were invincible. You thought you had it all. And maybe you did for a few miserable weeks. But #BeachKrew - Wade Moor - I'm back, and I'm here to take everything from you. Everything. Things have changed, and as long as I'm around, they'll never be the same. Hello, Daniel. Two months on from that fateful night and a lot has changed for you. Your friends have rallied around, and saved your immortal soul. The sun now rises over a new, and hopeful horizon. And while the damage caused during that living nightmare still remains; you face those challenges with a new sense of optimism; for you are now back as the captain of your own destiny. The waters are still. There is finally peace in our time. I'm happy for you, Daniel. You have a shot at peace, a real lasting peace, a peace that was ripped away from your grasp for so very long. Peace is a commodity that I cherish, Daniel. It's precious to me. When my peace is challenged, I feel obliged to meet that threat head on with overwhelming and destructive force. Even if the fires have diminished; an example still needs to be made. Memories linger, Dune. They scurry about in the darkness and whisper what if's. Are you back, or are you in remission? Are you clear, or are you a ticking bomb? I imagine this week is the first steps on that path of redemption. Your first foray back into the light. It's a nice story, but what if it's just that? A story. What if we have to rally against you again, Dune? And what if next time there are no Sentinels to save the day? What then? Does our future depend upon the likes of Kat Phoenix and Logan? I think we all know that the final destination stip is now a joke. A farce. Logan simply has a ticket now to book himself into a loss. I spoke to Seth at the end of last year about how he needed a strong right hand. A man who he could trust. I made a mistake in my conversation with him that night; I planted the idea of a Team of Torture reformation into Seth's mind. That idea grew and germinated into the debacle that now faces us. I created this nightmare Dune. The fault is mine, and mine alone, so now I have to set things right for the entire Federation. Undo the damage I have unknowingly caused. Sound familiar? I suppose you're now wondering, "What the hell does this have to do with me?" The answer is simple. If I beat you one on one, then I prove to Seth that I, and #Beachkrew, are truly the right choice to further his future plans. To be Seth's keepers of the flame so to speak. Seth is reeling after Logan's betrayal; right when this company needs Seth to be strong, the man is faltering. Losing direction and focus. Backing a lame horse named Logan that will surely be annihilated by Joey Flash, Wade Moor or your good self in due course. And then what? #Beachkrew needs to step up and show Seth that we are here for him, that we can fix his problems. He might have ruined Final Destination, but we can still save the WCF together. As one. #Beachkrew ran this company, and ran it well, before. And we can do so again; if only in a consultancy position to begin with. Once we have the infrastructure in place however, I, and the rest of my brothers, promise a return to the fare booking and clean matches that were so synonymous with our reign. We only want to help get this company back on track, Dune. We want to help the WCF bury it's nightmares. Move on from it's past and look towards the future. Help us, Dune. And we will help you. Heal with this company; and together, you and the WCF will reach new, unfathomable heights. All I ask from you is a match. One on one. At a time and place of your choosing. I can’t say I blame you. Had you wronged me as I wronged you and yours, a few months time certainly wouldn’t have wiped you clean of my memory. As it turns out though, you’ve never truly met the real me. I remember that night back in November. I remember everything I did; everything I said. Weeks later I would write your obituary, for fuck's sake. And now, upon reflection - upon re-reading my hate-filled message - I also remember why. Of course I do. It’s something I’ll never forget... You’re right, Johnny - a great weight has been lifted from me. I was infected, for lack of a better term, from WAR XIV til F15teen, when the exorcist-trio of Howard Black, Occulo, and Joey Flash helped flush the darkness from my mind and body. Whether or not I’ve been exorcised for good remains to be seen, though it’s not something you need to concern yourself with. Luckily, you don’t seem to be. No...you, like me, are far more concerned with undoing the damage you’ve inadvertently brought about in the WCF. And apparently that’s where I come into play. You want to prove yourself to Seth, Johnny? You want to elevate #BeachKrew’s worth now that your stock has plummeted? Sorry, Rabid...about the beatdown, I mean. Unfortunately it was entirely necessary. Turns out I can blindside you as well. Revenge for Slam - that's what Wednesday night was. Eye for an eye...that sort of thing. You get it. You should know I can wait to strike from the shadows better than most. After all, we first met in my darkest hours where there was no light at all.
So keep my words from Wednesday night in mind, Rabid: be patient. Our time will come. After I sweep the Trilogy Cup and win the World Title at Asesinato de Mayo for the second year in a row, it'll be your turn. I'll give you a handup to the mountaintop, Johnny...and I'll fling you from the summit without mercy or remorse.
Until then, stay the fuck out of my way. The soon to be two-time World Champion Joey Flash, perhaps the greatest fighter the WCF has ever seen, couldn't stop me from taking the Trilogy Cup and the World Title last year. Despite his best efforts, I prevailed. Let that sink in. Let that give you some perspective. And let this be your final warning.
