What we know so far...(to be updated the more that happens!)
Eight years ago
- Met, dated daughter of Sicilian Mafia boss Bernardo Allegri.
- Worked for Robert Facchetti as low level thug/drug runner, for reasons unknown hit was attempted on Joey, killing several of Joey's friends.
- Joey escapes and travels the world with hit men on his tale, escapes and avoids for three years before returning home into the arms of...
Five years ago
-...said daughter of mafia boss, Alessandra Allegri (who in the three years has become very embroiled in her father's business, at the real dirty and deep end, though Joey is none the wiser)
- Murders Robert Facchetti sloppily, witnessed by Facchetti's two daughters.
- Arrested by John Mullins (Occulo's father)
- Alessandra smooths things out with Facchetti's bosses, eliminates the remainder of Facchetti's immediate family including the two daughters who were witnesses.
- Joey is freed, spirals into drugs and depression. John Mullins swears eternal vengeance.
- Joey stumbles (quite literally) into a wrestling gym, takes to it like a duck to water.
Now
- Joey is now engaged (to Alessandra, has a son and is a wealthy 'legitimate businessman')
- Debuts for WCF, first encounter with Occulo.
- Wins Television title from Zombie McMorris in second week.
- Continues to defend title while embroiled in a bitter feud with Occulo, attacks Occulo week after week until they meet for TV Title at ONE. Joey finally defeats his nemesis Occulo and heads on further.
- Joey is attacked in his own club, La Societa by three assailants who mention the name 'Allegri'.
