OOC: Planning on doing a big Procreation series, but I forgot about XIII being this week so those will be coming later.
It's a WCF house show, one of the last before the majority of the staff and roster head to Japan for XIII. The crowd is at a quiet roar anticipating the next segment in the show, when suddenlty.
GONG!
The crowd erupts to the sound of Johnny Cravens gong.
GONG!
Everyone is now on their feet cheering while the revving of motorcycle engines can be heard. The sound is almost too much to possibly take. A huge fire explosion hits as "Hey Man Nice Shot" by filter plays over the loudspeaker and the "Texas Red" Johnny Craven sequence begins playing over Slam-o-Tron. Instead of Johnny Red on his motorcycle, out rides Index Three on Big Wheels. Danny Vice is in the center dressed in a faded Smirnoff Ice t-shirt. He has a large chain necklace with a flower medallion at the end, and white biker gloves to go along with his pink children's bicycle helmet which covers a pink bandana on his head. On each side of Danny is Mike Ragnal and Skyler Striker, dressed as druids ride down to the ring on their toy bikes as well. While heading down the ramp, Danny hits his squeaky horn to elicit a laugh from the crowd. The three park their bikes, but before entering the ring, Danny is sure to pull out a bike chain and lock all three bikes to the security guard rail. They enter as the cheering and laughter from the crowd settles. Danny removes his pink bicycle helmet and tosses it into the crowd.
Danny Vice: Hey WCF fans, are you ready for XIII?
The crowd cheers.
Danny Vice: Of course, Creeping Death has been babbling about it for the past few months, so I'm sure everyone is pretty sick of listening to people talk about it and just want it to come. So the event of XIII itself, I will no longer discuss. However, I would like to talk about my opponent in the Tokyo Street Fight....JOHNNY CRAVEN!
A mixed reaction from the crowd. Craven is certainly a fan favorite, but the Vagrant's loyalists boo him loudly.
Danny Vice: Johnny Craven thinks he can just come running down and attack me from behind after a brutal match, and not have any kind of repercussions? And he thinks that his little "Shadow Riders" are going to scare the Vagrant? Well let me tell you something about posse's. I stand here today, with the World Championship Federation Television Champion...Mike Ragnal.
Ragnal drops his cloak and garments to reveal him in street clothes with the Television Title around his waist. The crowd pops massively.
Danny Vice: And on my other side, the man who single-handedly ran the gamut of the WCF Championship Series. The innovator of the Pyramid match, Extreme Hell, and the World Championship Federation World Champion...SKYLER STRIKER!
Striker drops his cloak and garments as well, revealing his World Title around his waist. This pop from the crowd is almost deafening.
Danny Vice: So parading out your minions to this ring isn't going to scare anyone Johnny. But enough about your clan of Merry Men, because everyone really wants to hear about the Tokyo Street Fight. You signed on for this match as if you know what you're getting yourself into. You think because you've competed inside of these three ropes in matches deemed "hardcore" that you have any idea what Friday brings. Friday is the be all, and end all. The Day of Reckoning. Your Revelations. It is the Omega. Friday there will be no rules, there will be no referee, there will be no pinfalls, no submission. When you can't fight anymore, it's over. People talk about Last Man Standing matches, I Quit matches, Deathmatches and all the like. To the extent of which those matches refer to hyperbole, this match truly is. It doesn't matter about answering a three count, a ten count, or tapping out. This is man and man fighting to the limits of a human beings threshold for pain. The very limits that divide the strong from the weak and the contenders from the pretenders. There are no boundaries I will not cross. There are no limits I will not reach. From glass, to steel, to iron, to concrete, your body will come in not contact, but impact, with them all. And when the crowds disperse from the massive blood loss and sickening head trauma you will suffer, and the wind begins to drift with a scent of drying blood and raw flesh, the people of Tokyo will know precisely why you are called "Texas Red". The next time we come in contact, Johnny, there won't be any sneaking up or Shadow Riders. It's just you, me, and the endless possibilites of be extorting an excrutiating amount of pain...
The lights go out.
GONG!
The crowd cheers as the lights come back on, but no sign of Johnny Craven. Danny Vice, Mike Ragnal, and Skyler Striker remain in the exact spot as they were prior, with an unflinching glare into the crowd.
Danny Vice: No scare tactics this Friday, Johnny. I'm going to end this. And there is nothing you can do about it.
This time, "Social Register Fanclub" by Boysetsfire hits the speakers and three enormouse 'V' pyros explode behind Index Three. Danny Vice tosses the mic aside and the three men head out of the ring and up the ramp, leaving the toy Big Wheels and costumes behind.
