According to multiple reports backstage, WCF superstar Remus Micayle has been injured and will be out for the foreseeable future. This comes after his brutal encounter with returning wrestler Cormack MacNeill, who attacked the academic and took him out even before the former could make it for his match. The attack also resulted in Micayle dropping his WCF Tag Team Championship.
The attack, which shocked the fans in attendance, comes right after another assault on Micayle, who was also found beaten up and unconscious last week. It is highly speculated that Cormack was the aggressor for that incident as well, though as of now, it is unconfirmed.
A source states that as of this current time, Micayle is in considerable pain. Though a complete check-up has yet to be done, it is highly probable that the Scientist is suffering from a cervical fracture. In addition to the injury, numerous bruises and a few lacerations are also found on him; a side-effect of the back-to-back assaults inflicted on to him.
This assault brings the rising career of the superstar to a sudden halt. Micayle has been with the federation for the past eight months, and this is the first known major injury to have afflicted him since.
More updates to come once we receive them.
