*Bryan Worthy is on set addressing the viewer*
Bryan Worthy: Due to technical difficulties the sitdown interview "What's the Buzz?" with WCF superstars Oblivion and Apocalypse was not part of last night's Slam broadcast. Those issues have now been resolved, allowing us to show you the contents of that meeting in its entirety.
*The scene shifts, and now we've got a bemused looking Buzz standing in between the two masked monsters backstage at Slam.*
Bryan Worthy: Last week we learned that the two of you have been previously acquainted. Can you summarize how you came to know one another?
Apocalypse: Before Apocalypse was Apocalypse and Oblivion was Oblivion. We met in the mental hospital know as Withlacoochie Mental Hospital, both having traumas in our lives that would lead us to being institutionalized. When we HAD the opportunity, we talked about our lives. We always talked about what we would do if we got out. Oblivion suggested that when he got out he was going back into wrestling. Apocalypse said "I always like wrestling." And so we made a promise to each other that we would try to find each other. But, unfortunately, we both began to hear voices inside our own heads. The mental hospital was known to be crooked and rumors were flying that we were given placebos, not our real medications. So we began to hear voices inside our heads. It became clear that we were developing split personalities, due to the mental hospital's negligence.
Oblivion: Well, it's quite simple. While Stephan Johnson was inside The Withlacoochie Mental Hospital for simply going insane due to the death of his wife, the hospital gave him fake medications, which made the development into me. The strong psychosis that dwelled inside Stephan grew larger and strong and that is how IT appeared. Now Jake Stamper was in there at the same time.
Bryan Worthy: Apocalypse, this Sunday will be your Slam debut. Your match is against Alexander Richards. What do you think of your opponent?
Apocalypse: I think the same as the rest of this roster does. This guy is crazier than crazy. In fact I heard rumors of a new word being thought of to describe this guy as crazy isn't even close to what's going on under the hood. Have you seen the things he's been talking about on Twitter? The guys nuts! This Sunday I look forward to stepping in that ring and doing battle with Alexander Richards. And may the crazier man win...
Bryan Worthy: Oblivion, your team the Psycho Hot Dog Beer Company have made the finals of the Trios Cup Tournament. One of your partners is a man you have spent much of 2014 feuding with: the current Hardcore Champion Logan. So far the two of you have been able to put aside your differences, but now you have reached the last round and there is a World Title shot at stake, do you think you will be able to function effectively as a unit?
Oblivion: We all know the awesome rivalry that Logan and Oblivion have had over the WCF Hardcore Championship, but something more important has come up... The TRIOS Tournament!! We know about our past, but we are still professional and we can forgo the past to wipe the mats with Pantheon and the team of Torture, Synn, and John Gable!!
Bryan Worthy: Apocalypse, what are your goals here in the Wrestling Championship Federation?
Apocalypse: I'm striving to be one of the most barbaric and hardcore brawlers in professional wrestling (like my friend Oblivion), I want to be a dominant force of pure destruction bringing pain and suffering to as many people as I can. To make them FEEL, the way I FEEL. I've come to separate the Sheep from the goats as we prepare for the dawn of the new age. The End times are upon us...I've also been sent to collect enough souls for Azrael to have the power to bring my Mother back.
Bryan Worthy: Oblivion, of the six men you'll be facing at Asesinato De Mayo, which one would give you the most satisfaction to pin?
Oblivion: The Legend.... Torture. It would be so satisfying to pin someone like Torture. That's all, IT has to say about that.
Bryan Worthy: This last question is for both of you: your reunion at the previous Slam led to a backstage brawl. Have you two resolved your issues, or is there a chance we might see further conflict between you?
Apocalypse: I would say that there are some issues still between us and as far as a further conflict that depends on Oblivion.
Oblivion: There is this unusual "friendship/rivalry" between APOC and Oblivion. So, the more they conflict, the more they want to be partners. Because of them both being so similar. They want to be partners, but APOC is internally angry at Oblivion for not coming back and getting him. But, APOC thinks that they could be such an awesome force inside the WCF. Time will tell. Who knows, anything is always possible inside WCF!!
Bryan Worthy: Gentlemen, thank you for your time.
*The two brutes glower at Buzz, and then at each other, before walking out of the shot.*
