**Scene One**
“What are you doing? My sister is looking for you; you won’t get away with this!”
A darkened room in what apparently seems to be a big old storage unit comes into view as little light shows through the room as Paul Jones sits tied to a chair in the middle of the room. Chelsea moves into the light allowing him to see her face as a cruel smirk plays on her crimson lips causing chills to run down his spine.
“Oh shhh my dear, I’ve already gotten away with everything I need to but why not allow the fun to begin.”
Staring at him and seeing the scared and angry look in his eyes causes the smirk to disappear as she starts pacing back and forth in front of him and doubts from a few days earlier begin to play in her mind. Taking a deep breath and closing her eyes she turns her back to Paul and wills her mind to remain under control and understand the task at hand, after a few minutes and still not being able to get her mind straightened she starts mumbling to herself as the words leave her lips without consciously knowing.
“What would Scott do…what would he want me to do…what would he do...What would Scott do…What would Scott do…What would Scott do…”
Soon a sadistic smirk comes over her lips as she takes a deep breath and straightens the corset wrapped around her torso, looking down she unzips the black leather jacket before taking it off and throwing it across the room and walking back over to Paul. Pulling a metal steel chair in front of the one Paul is tied to she sits down crossing her legs as she leans back and crosses her arms letting the bare skin of her arms brush against her chest, shaking her foot slightly she watches his eyes and allows the fear to rise in him just from the anticipation before the real fun begins.
“I know more about your past than you know Paul…you see, your sister and I go way back and that means we’ve shared secrets a plenty. That also means that I know about your little habit, you know that little drug addiction you once had a problem with. I’ve seen my fair share of drug addicts by being in this industry and one thing is for certain…you’re never truly cured, no you lure yourself into a false sense of security and tell your family you are going to do better, that you will do better for them but do you want to know the truth. One you become a disgrace to your family you will always be a disgrace to your family, you can’t change that. You tell yourself that things are different, that you’re clean now and that they love you and will forget that you ever went through that time in your life…but that’s wrong…that’s dead wrong.
The truth is that you want to take another shot, you want to throw it all away for one more adrenaline rush as that heroin runs through your veins and you are able to forget all of the worries running through your head. You want to believe that your family would understand, that they would come to be ok with the fact that their son and brother is nothing more than a washed up druggie! That’s all you are Paul, you’re a druggie and you know it…”
“No…no I’m not! You don’t know what you are talking about! You don’t know who I am; you’re a whore and a backstabber!”
He pulls at the restraints more trying to get away from her even jumping as the chair moves but doesn’t jar his restraints any. Standing up she lowers her arms before walking behind Paul and allows her hands to rest against his shoulders and leaning over so her chest is pressing against his back and her lips graze his ear causing him to jerk in the binds holding him to the chair.
“Oh I know what I’m talking about…and I can help you get that rush Paul; I can help you go back to that life…you know you want to do it, why don’t you just give in already? Your family already hates you; let’s allow that to be for a justifiable reason...shall we?”
“Go to hell bitch!”
“Oh you just love those colorful words don’t you, but you know you’re only fighting because you know I’m right…but how about we do something with those outbursts shall we?”
Reaching into her back pocket she pulls out a gag before grabbing his hair and forcing his head back until he’s staring up directly into her eyes, he struggles trying his best to jerk out of her grasp which causes her to pull his hair making him flinch as she smiles. Wrapping the gag around his mouth she makes sure it’s secure and tightens the strap allowing no noise to come from his lips causing a content smile to come to her lips as she lets his head go back to its original position. Leaning back down she allows her warm breath to hit his hear once again as her voice comes out cool and collected, almost of that as a practiced sociopath.
“The choice is yours but I know what is best, I will help you get back what you most desire, are you going to allow me to help you baby? I care for you deeply, you know I just want you to be happy…I want to see your face as you taste that sweet poison coursing through your body once again. They were the bad people…they made you give up the only thing that made your lip what you most deserved…I can give that back to you Paul.”
“No, please stop, I can’t!”
“You can…and you will, it’s so easy and you know you want to.”
“But Stac…”
“If she really cared she’d be here right now wouldn’t she? She doesn’t care about you Paul…all the more reason to do this. Come on Paul, I care about you, I want the best for you.”
“I...I can’t…”
Raising her hand she places a single syringe beside his hand, she can nearly hear the longing coming out in his breaths as she smiles keeping her stance where she is.
“Do you want it Paul…I can help you if you do…”
A single nod is all she needs as she moves her hands down his arms and to the restraints holding his hands still while placing her lips against his neck keeping him preoccupied as the straps are loosened and removed then followed by the gag placed around his lips. He doesn’t try to run or even yell, he keeps still as she stands up gazing at the red lipstick stain against his cool skin before gazing at his face which is staring at the needle. Placing another kiss against his cheek seems to be all the motivation he needs as he gives into her soft words and grabs the needle staring at it tentatively.
“There you go sweetie, remember the feeling you used to have…you know you want that feeling again….do it Paul, do it for me.”
She watches with amazement and pleasure as he brings the needle to the bend of his elbow and slowly pushes it into his pale skin she watches as the syringe is pushed as the clear liquid pulses into his veins.
“That’s it baby…you did it. I knew you wouldn’t let me down.”
Dropping the syringe to the floor his eyes immediately well up as he starts sobbing uncontrollably out of guilt for giving in to her taunts. Watching him fall victim to her taunts causes a malicious laugh to rain from the lips of her as she smiles letting the guilt consume him. Her pleasure is interrupted though as it seems his cries have captured attention of someone who stumbled upon their location. Forcing a gag into his mouth she brings her finger to her ruby lips making a ‘shhh’ sound before kissing his cheek and walking to the door whose handle is being turned trying to break through the lock. Putting on her best innocent voice she leans against the wall by the door and lets her whisper travel through the metal.
“Who is it?”
“Hey babes it’s me. You asked me to come here remember.”
Hearing the voice of her husband her eyes get huge as she almost appears giddy and skips over to Paul who looks at her with pleading eyes.
“Oh it’s about to get fun now, my hubby’s here!”
Laughing she ruffles his hair with her hand before going back to the door and turning the lock, allowing the door to open she wraps her arms around him as soon he is visible and places a kiss on his cheek.
“I’m so happy you got that message, come in come in.”
Stepping back she allows him to enter the room ahead of her before she closes the door with a sudden thud and the sound of the lock being turned again flowing toward Seifer’s ears as his eyes begin to adjust to the dim surroundings.
“Ok.... What’s going on here? I know we talked about getting a dungeon before but I didn’t think you were serious.”
She laughs at his assumption before stepping behind him and wrapping her arms around his shoulders then places a soft kiss against his neck.
“Oh baby this is so much more than just a dungeon…this is the start of something new, something to take us back where we belong…it’s time we show the world what they really want…to show them who we truly are.”
“What are you talking about? You know what happened last time with this and people got seriously hurt, we agreed not to go there again.”
“You know how I am sweetheart…I couldn’t help it. She just got me so mad…and then when she ruined my plans and embarrassed me…she knows better than to mess with me Seifer. I had to show her I was the one in control…Stacy will pay for what happened…and it’s starting here.”
“Why don’t you destroy her directly, you are too strong for the games.... Wait, what have you done?”
“Because destroying her directly wouldn’t be nearly as much fun.”
Placing her lips against his cheek she smiles taking his hand before leading him deeper until the room knowing his eyes have started to become accustomed, within seconds they stand directly in front of Paul who looks at them both with fear showing bright in his eyes as she struggles in the confines to get away from the sight.
“Seifer, meet Paul. Paul…this is my husband, Seifer.”
Showing her innocent smile once again she walks behind Paul letting her fingers graze his cheek as she looks back to the eyes of Seifer.
“Who is Paul, and why is he here? You have been in this situation recently... You know how it feels to be taken....”
“Yeah I have…and I remember how you reacted and I remember how my captor reacted. That game of cat and mouse…it is quite the excitement. I know what I am doing here and Paul is the key to helping me do this….you see Paul, is Stacy’s brother.”
Her smile brightens looking like a child that has just showed her momma the bright shiny gold star she received on an art project.
“Really, I didn’t know she had a brother.”
He leans in to get a closer look at Paul as she smiles watching him intently.
“At inspection you can tell, but babe why don’t we let him go... I am sure he won’t tell anyone what happened to him, especially Stacy and Matt.”
“Oh I can’t do that…you see Sunday Stacy had a hunch on what had happened when he went missing...and well...let’s just say it’s no secret who has him. Even if I let him go I’ve already went in too deep, so I might as well have fun with it right?”
“Right... I mean wrong, you don’t need to do this baby, you are one of the strongest people in the world and you know there is no way she can stand against you.”
“See, you know that and I know that…but Stacy…well she doesn’t know that. She still believes she has what it takes to be better than me and I’m proving to her that she can’t even step up to my level. “
Walking back around to Seifer she once again wraps her arms around him from behind and allows her lips to softly graze his ear.
“Come on baby…you can help me. Remember how much fun that used to be? You can do that again…I’ll help you. “
Reaching over she grabs a thick whip that had been sitting beside Paul and she places it into his hand closing his fingers around the handle and allowing him to feel the weight of the weapon in his hand.
“There you go baby…just one strike…that’s all it takes.”
“I remember, I still see it all every night when I close my eyes, we could do this again couldn’t we.... “
She feels him take a deep breath before placing the whip onto the table and turning around to look her in the eyes and placing his arms around her waist.
“No we can’t, we don’t need this baby... We don’t need to bring simple peons like this Paul into the fight where he was never involved in the first place; I wish I could make you see the futility of all of this.”
“He was brought into this when Stacy made it publically clear that he was involved with her. She knows me, she practically threw him in my lap and I’m not supposed to capitalize on that? It was her fault that he was brought here; I’m just using what I have to do what I need to do. This new little attitude that Stacy has is making her nothing less than a bitch and I had to go a different route if I was going to get this finished. He is the only way I can end this, is the missing piece in this redundant puzzle!”
Turning around she takes deep breaths feeling tears well up in her eyes as his hands stay locked against her waist. Shaking her head she brings her hands up running her fingers through her hair as she takes deep shaky breaths.
“I have to do this…I don’t have a choice…I have to finish this.”
“Then finish it, I won’t get in your way with that... But know this, you are stronger than she is, you can conquer her without having to resort to these sorts of games, I love you with all my heart but you are being weak against your urges.... And because I love you so much I will leave you to this so you can finish this puzzle but I can’t go back there again.”
His words sting like a wasp as she looks down at the ground starting to rethink her mindset, feeling him still behind her she closes her eyes trying to focus on his presence but that voice from the past comes back to her hard causing her to waver on her decision yet again.
“She wants me to do this…she knows that he is the one link to Stacy that can help me do what I need to do. I want you with me…I need you here. What about everything we’ve been through…it can be like the old times again…we can dominate this whole federation…but I need you…”
“And you have me, you always will... “
She hears his footsteps and feels him place his arms around her shoulders as he kneels down behind her.
“It pains me more than words can say to see you like this, so much you must understand I can’t be here physically, but you know where ever you go I will always be here with you spiritually. You are one of the most special people in my life and no matter what nothing will ever change that.”
Nodding she reaches up placing her hand on one of his own as she a single tear rolls down her cheek as she’s glad he can’t see her face. Taking another deep breath she looks up to the darkened ceiling of the room they are in not being able to stop the thoughts going through her mind. Once again she begins to question if she changed for the right reasons, if leaving those she has was for the best. As she looks back down she feels his lips touch her neck as she closes her eyes thinking only about Seifer and how long they have been and will be together. Rethinking the plan at hand her mind spins in a different direction as she mind shows a huge grin but her face stays somber as she now knows this wasn’t the right time to show Seifer her plans…it’s time to backtrack and she knows what she has to do. Turning in his arms she lets his hand brush the tear from her cheek as she smiles pulling him in for a soft kiss.
“You’re right…you’ve always been right…let’s get out of here. I don’t want to do anything unless I have your full support and you are there by my side…let’s go. “
“Ok let’s go, I got Shelly in the car waiting for her Mom. I know she will be happy to see you.”
Hearing her daughter’s name causes her smile too bright as she leans her head against Seifer as the two walk out of the room, as they get to the door and start walking toward the car Seifer stops and looks back at the room with a look of concern.
“Wait…what about Paul?”
“Oh…of course, give me a minute I’ll run back in and take care of it.”
Giving him a soft kiss on the lips she runs back over to the room and slightly shuts the door behind her as she walks back over to Paul, his eyes look hopeful after seeing what just happened but that cruel smirk reappears on his lips once again as she only tightens the restraints on his arms and legs.
“I’ll be back soon sweetie, don’t worry…I can’t forget about you. “
Running back out of the room she takes one last look back at Paul before walking out and closing the door tight behind her, quickly turning the lock she runs over to the car and climbs in to see a smiling Seifer.
“Everything set?”
“Yeah everything’s good, let’s get home. “
Starting the car Seifer drives off with the mindset that Paul is on his way and leaving the room as they get closer to home but Chelsea knows deep within her mind that that couldn’t be further from the truth…her fun with Paul has only started…and he’s not going to make her stop now.
**Scene Two**
The sound of fist against leather is the first thing to bounce around the room as Chelsea’s black and purple shoes come into view, as the view moves up her toned and tanned legs begin to show as soon her black shorts come into view and then her black tank top. Her hands through hard hits left and right forcing the punching bag to swing on the chain but the hits aren’t enough apparently as the stern voice of Scott Savage breaks through the grunts leaving her pale pink lips.
“Hit it harder! Harder! Come on Chelsea. You are better than this. Give me more! If you aren't giving me a hundred percent, you are wasting everyone's time! Fatigue makes fools of us all. It is your job to last longer than your opponent. Fight a longer match than they can, and let fatigue addle their mind! It is your job to be better conditioned than your competition, and if you don't pick it up you are going to end up winded before you even get the CHANCE to win!”
A groan passes her lips as she pulls her ponytail tighter and then throws the hits harder against the bag causing her fingers to ache but she’ll take that pain his yelling as she pushes herself. Keeping her eyes locked on the bag she doesn’t even look him in the eye knowing she wouldn’t like the glare she’s getting currently. As she continues hitting the bag her arms scream at her to slow but she knows she can’t as she waits for more of his words to come through to her, sure enough as soon as she starts to slow her hits he’s right there behind her.”
"Pain is nothing but weakness leaving the body. Do you think Brent Alpine is worried about the pain? Do you think Jayden Thunder is worried about the pain? Do you think Denise D’evil is worried about the pain? No! They're all training at their highest level, because they know that's what it's going to take to beat you. Are you going to give up on me while they're working their hardest? Are you going to fall apart just when you should be your strongest?"
Having to bite her tongue to keep from yelling what she wants many thoughts run through her head causing her hands to turn red from the hits against the hard bag. “At least I’m actually doing something decent in this federation.” Screaming in her mind she’s thankful he can’t hear her but it’s as if he can read her mind as once again he’s right there with her, before he can talk through she cuts him off finding an odd ounce of courage.
“I’m doing what you’re telling me to! I’m pushing myself harder than I have, do you think I don’t know what I’m dealing with right now? At least I’m doing something; I’m in line for three championships! Is that still not enough for you? What do you want from me?!”
Her muscles tense waiting for a strike to come down across her back but nothing happens, instead she stands there throwing hit after hit against the bag as his gaze burns into the rear of her head making her feel uncomfortable but giving her all the more reason not to turn around and look into his dark eyes which she has no doubt are red hot right now.
"More! I want more! I know you have more to give, and dammit Chelsea, I want it! I want every ounce of your will, because that's what you have to leave on the canvas every night to be one of the greats! You can't leave eighty percent, ninety percent of yourself on the mat. You have to leave one hundred percent, and even more than that most nights! What do I want from you? The only thing I'll ever want from you. More!"
The anger rising in her body has caused that small dark pocket of her mind to shake awake as she pushes it back now fear from herself coming alive as his words keep harping at her with those stern harsh tones. “Oh let me take care of him hun, please he won’t stand a chance against us.” Shaking her head her hits come harder forcing her hands to sting as the voice continues to eat at her mind. “Please, just one hit and he’ll be down and you can get away from this…one hit is all it’ll take.”
“No!”
Not noticing she had just spoken out loud she jumps as Scott’s voices comes to her from behind in a harsh tone.
“What? Did you just tell me no?”
Shaking her head almost violently she hears her words stumbling over one another in her mind as she finally gets them to pass over her lips.
“No, that wasn’t directed at you…”
Even while she tries to repress the thoughts in order to listen to his commands it yells louder forcing her hands to come to her head holding it before going back to hitting the bag.
"Good. If you're going to succeed, you are going to listen to every word I have to say. I am doing this for your benefit, and if your heart isn't in it, you may as well stop swinging, and walk out that door now. You may as well go be a flight attendant, because that's all eighty percent of anyone is worth in this business! I want one number in your mind! One hundred percent! If you have anything left at the end of a match, you have failed all of us, and more importantly yourself!"
His words sting as they hit her skin making her pain and anger rise only more, it is then her right hand hits the bag too hard from the emotions and she lets out a small shriek stepping back enough to shake her hand and help the pain come to a dull ache. Taking a deep breath she gazes down at her battered hands before knowing she can’t stop now and steps back in front of the bag.
“I won’t let you down…I promise.”
Scott steps out from behind the bag where he had positioned himself to look at her face, and gently pulls her glove off, inspecting the hand. He bends it a little, gauging her reaction as he does.
"You're going to be ok. You likely just jammed it. I've been there too many times, but that's what I'm talking about. Fight until it hurts, and then fight some more... one hundred percent..."
Nodding she takes a deep breath as she walks over leaning against the wall as she takes off her other glove and starts prepping her hand gently as the pain runs through her body slowly but enough to let her know it’s there.
“Jayden and Denise won’t know what hit them, it’s not like they can compare to me anyway. The death bringer…please, she doesn’t even know the definition of dark. Both of them are nothing but talk and that’s going to be their downfall. One hit and both of them will be down crying for someone to come to their aid and I’ll laugh as I watch with each movement and allow myself to torture them slowly before putting them out of their minds and winning that match.
I’m the only person in this match to ever hold that WCF Television championship and that isn’t going to change! I will win this match and I will go on to regain MY championship, I don’t care who they put in my way…no one will be able to stop me. I will win the Television Championship, I will win the Internet Championship, and when the time comes I will win the World Heavyweight Championship! I done playing games in this federation, it’s time people start taking me seriously and looking at the accomplishments I have obtained since I joined this place…that starts when I win this week.”
Looking up she sees Scott gazing at her as she moves to walk back to the bag but he stops her having her stay where she is as the stern cold glare in his eyes soon turns into an approving grin spread over his lips. She looks at him confused but doesn’t question it as she waits to hear what he has to say.
“Chelsea... you have been doing an amazing job. I could not be prouder of you. You've done everything I have asked and more. Truth be told, I wish I had four of you. But you have to keep your head together. You have to keep your mind focused on the goal. You can't let yourself get preoccupied with Stacy or Gable. You need to focus on one thing, winning. It's something you know how to do. I know you do, and it really is that simple. Don't get distracted, don't make excuses, and don’t make mistakes... just win baby!"
“Oh I will, and I’ll do it for you, in your name. I promise with all I am that I will be bringing a championship home to you, I won’t stop until I make sure of that.”
The smile stands on his lips as he surprises her by wrapping his arm around her shoulder giving her a half hug before rubbing her shoulder and looking back at the hand that had started to swell only slightly.
“Go hit the showers, then after we’ll get some ice for that hand.”
Nodding she slightly smiles before walking off toward the showers as takes a deep breath happy she is able to quit but that is stopped as she has to keep herself from letting out a childish whine as he calls her name.
“And Chelsea?”
“Yeah?”
“Don’t worry; I know that gold is as good as yours. Keep focus on your match and you’ll be fine.”
Smiling she takes yet another deep breath and then heads toward the showers stripping down as soon as she gets out of his eyes sight, turning the handle the water streams out heating up within seconds as she steps under the steaming river and letting everything fade from her mind and giving her a moment by herself and able to relax…well what she is able to.
“I’m ready.”
