Always be yourself, express yourself, have faith in yourself, do not go out and look for a successful personality and duplicate it.
Bruce Lee
The scene opens in a dark room lit only by candles that are scattered around the room, the dust in the air more prominent as I walk through it, the darkness scares most people but I find it comforting, like an old blanket that you had forgotten about and started using again in the winter months. After walking across the room wearing my black leather trousers, black Doc Martins boots, an Angel of judgement Seifer Black Armstrong and a unfastened black Angel of judgement zip up hoodie with the hood up partly covering my face, I take a seat on an old black wingback chair and taking a deep breath.
Seifer: Doubt, nothing but doubt is flooding my mind and there is nothing to stop it, each time I think about how things ended I keep on thinking to myself I didn’t earn where I am, I did not beat Chase this time around because of his own stupidity and that is another thing upon many others that just sticks like a thorn inside of my mind in the exact place that cannot be reached. It all shall happen again no doubt and I shall find what made me strong and bring myself back to where I deserve to be in my life. But no matter how much soul searching I do it doesn’t stop from the fact that I need to focus on the next problem at hand.
I take another deep breath thinking things over again.
Seifer: But I also need to address the past also, I never lost that match but I also never won it either and as I said before it pains me that it ended so suddenly, I don’t know what happened because I have taken worse than that before now and I have been able to get up no matter what but before I knew about it I was being stretchered out of the arena, I remember thinking to myself what happened to me, why is this happening and why was I not strong enough to get back up again. So much doubt has been spreading in my mind because of that moment gnawing and growing more and more at the back of my mind, why does this bother me so much… I can’t answer that question yet but I can answer this, no matter how much it pains me I shall keep on looking forward… I have another shot at the trilogy cup and no matter what I shall not let this one slip away even if it kills me in the process.
I take one more deep breath grabbing my bottle of water from the floor next to the chair opening it up and taking a swig.
Seifer: This week I am in a match which to be honest is a waste of my time but I shall go into it like any other match that I am in with one hundred percent intensity and heart like all my other matches, to me it doesn’t matter in that respect if it’s the first match on the card or the main event. Even with my feelings about this being a waste of time it shall not get in the way of it being a stepping stone in showing what I can really do and a triple threat match is just the perfect situation for me to make sure that I start my next run at the trinity cup in the right way.
I take another drink of water before placing the lid back on and putting it down next to the chair again.
Seifer: Two men, two different styles and two different types of boring, you know when I have to face people like this it makes me think about what the company must think of me in a whole, instead of booking me against someone that would give me a challenge on my road to the next pay per view I get one person who barely scrape pass on a wish and a prayer and another man which to be honest I do not know that much about which means.
I take my lighter from my pocket and light up a candle next to me showing a picture of Michael Steele.
Seifer: Michael Steele, or should I say Colonel Steele I think, to be honest I don’t care for titles that much so from now on I shall call you Michael, now there is one thing that I agree with you about that you will be my only challenge in this match that is true but you think to yourself that I am nothing but a reckless and erratic man who will take himself out the match with something crazy, well clearly you have never seen me wrestle, I take calculated risks in that ring which are not calculated for the normal man because I know that I can do it, but I also do not rely on these risks, my feet and my fists do as much talking in that ring as much as any dive to the outside, my knee can knock you out… My shin can break your ribs and my elbow can crack your jaw if I see fit to do so. You see me as the biggest challenge in this match this means nothing else than that you have eyes considering the other man involved in our match.
I take a breath and pull back the hood of my hoodie.
Seifer: Michael in some ways I look forward to facing you in that ring because you are going to be the one that will make this match even remotely interesting but make no doubt in your mind that it will anything more than interesting because even though you do not know it now you are going to be facing something that you are not able to comprehend, I am like no other man that will step foot into that ring which you will find out at slam. You are one of the unfortunate people in the path of that I want most and that is the respect and the faith of the fans and the people that mean the most to me, I will destroy you at slam but it will be nothing personal just remember that when the fists start to fly this Saturday… Mind I also have a small message to your friend Coon, you think this is going to be a squash match, I have seen your show before and that is the only joke I have ever heard that has made me laugh, you better choose your words more carefully in the future because words have power and they will hurt the man I assume is your friend… So for now goodnight Michael Steele we shall meet again at slam.
I take the candle and set alight the picture of Steele before turning to the other side of my chair with my lighter and setting alight another candle showing a picture of Adam Young.
Seifer: Where to start Adam, to be honest you are so much of a joke there is a lot I could say but what should I pick from.
I sit and think a moment while I pick up my water again opening it up and taking another drink from it.
Seifer: To be honest your lack of knowledge on me even though I have faced and beaten you several times before now boggles my mind, yeah it was against your failed project the Young Militia when I was part of Justice, but like then now will be no exception little Adam, you are out of your league and you do not even know it but just for kicks and giggles I will address the words that you have had to say about me in the past week.
I take another drink and place the water back down on the floor.
Seifer: Now your main mistake which will prove to be fatal for you is you starting to bring my wife into your insults, I mean really you need to get some creativity stat… You better be glad that Chels has a sense of humour and laughed off all of your words that you said because if she didn’t you would be in a whole other world of shit than you are already in just by being in the same ring as me, it’s almost laughable how someone like you would ever think that someone like her would ever look upon you as anything else as the lowest earthworm that slithers through the dirt.
I take another breath leaning forward slightly.
Seifer: Now saying that I am in your words another Canadian reject then you clearly do not know the Canadian people and the legends that it has produced… Legends such as Lance Storm, Edge, Chris Benoit and of course the greatness of the Hart family, Jim the anvil Neidhart, Owen Hart and of course Bret the Hitman Hart… I am proud of the wrestling legacy my country has left behind and I am a part of that tradition of greatness of Canadian wrestlers, you underestimate that you ignorant little man and you will fall… Like you do each and every time you go into that ring, and you know what you say that you didn’t think shit could be stacked six foot seven high, well it doesn’t even compare to the ever spewing river of diarrhoea that comes out of your mouth each and every time you open it…
I chuckle a little at the thought of having to face this man one more time.
Seifer: You know though no matter how much of a joke I believe that you are it will not stop me from treating you like any other person that I step into that ring with and that will be with complete force and at full attack I will take you out before I start my fight with Steele, you are such a small man in the world of giants and you are going to be squashed each and every time that you dare stand up and try to make you voice heard. Be afraid, be very afraid because you are going into a no win situation, the best thing you can do is not to turn up and leave it up to me and Steele to settle things out.
I pick up the bottle of water once again and drink the rest of the bottle before throwing it to one side.
Seifer: For now goodnight Adam Young, you will be put out of your suffering soon enough.
I take the candle and also set his picture on fire laughing as I watch it burn before turning back to the camera.
Seifer: Now to both of you, I leave this last message… Through me the way is to the city dolent; Through me the way is to eternal dole; Through me the way among the people lost. Justice incited my sublime Creator; Created me divine Omnipotence, The highest Wisdom and the primal Love. Before me there were no created things, Only eterne, and I eternal last. All hope abandon, ye who enter in this ring with me for May the devils have mercy on both of your souls for the angels will have none…. I am the Angel of Judgement Seifer Black Armstrong and all those that do not pay heed to my words shall fade to black.
As I finish talking I stand up and walk away as the scene fades to black.
To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.

Hitting the gym again, I'm getting here every other day again now I am back full time and I tell you what I have really missed it, taking out my frustrations of my life by getting a good sweat on and keeping myself in the best shape I can for my matches. Following the old regime I learned back in my time at the Tenkai Dojo in Tokyo. Really demanding but really rewarding if you can get through it in one piece. As I am part way through my second set of kicks on the heavy bag I hear a voice behind me which I recognised.
Hank: Hey Seifer got a minute?
Seifer: Why not Hank just give me a moment to finish this set.
I finish off my last set of kicks before I turn around and see Hank there with the remote camera man who follows him around. Letting the camera begin recording Hank puts on his best professional smile before standing next to me as the mic id held between us.
Hank: Hello ladies and gentlemen, i am joined at this time by none other than Seifer Black Armstrong, thank your for taking time out of your workout to join me Seifer.
Seifer: More than happy to Hank, I enjoy hanging out with you.
Hank: Well thank you for that, now looking back at last week you competed in a one on one match against Chase Michaels for a spot in the WCF Trilogy Cup, where i may add the match ended in a draw and in turn both of you have advanced. What are your thoughts on this?
Seifer: Well I’ll be honest with you it kind of stings, I don’t feel like I have earned my place in the next part of the Trilogy cup. I keep on watching the footage over and over again to try and see what happened but I can’t see what really knocked me for a loop.
Hank: But even with it ending in a draw you still are advancing in the tournament, I would think you'd be ecstatic about that fact. I mean you're one step closer to being number one contender to the WCF World Heavyweight Championship.
Seifer: There is a sense of pride of what I could still accomplish, but there is still my pride which has been bruised in that draw, I don’t know if I can say the same for Chase but with our history it would have been nice to have a definitive end to that match.
Hank: That is understandable, with you advancing does it worry you any that with your wife, Chelsea, has also advanced in the tournament and you two are that much close to the possibility of having to face one another?
Seifer: That’s a tough one, to be honest it’s come up between me and her many a time and we seem to come to the same conclusion, if it happens we deal with it then but till then we don’t think about it.
Hank: Saying that though do you believe you can stand against your wife knowing one of you is going to lose the chance at a dream while the other gets to go for it?
Seifer: I like to believe that our bond is so strong that no matter what the outcome of the match it would not affect us as a whole, in the past when we have won titles its felt like its been a victory for the both of us.
Hank: It sounds like the two of you have a very strong connection. Now moving on to this week you face the men of Michael Steele and Adam Young in a triple threat match, what are your thoughts and how are you preparing for this match?
Seifer: Considering I really only need to prepare for one person it’s not too big a deal, I mean no one has been able to take Young seriously since two thousand and eight, so Steele is the only person I need to prepare for, as for tactics I am going to go into this match like any other.
Hank: Can you give us any insight into the preparation that you put into your matches?
Seifer: I have a routine I go through which I was taught by my teacher in Tokyo, a lot of it I don’t feel comfortable to say because I like to keep that to myself but I can show you one part of my routine.
I take a couple of steps backwards and lay in some kicks on the punching bag, the last one making the bag split in half as sand pours all over the floor.
Seifer: Great there going to charge me for that one.
Walking back to Hank I try to hold back a sly smile on my face.
Hank: Well it certainly looks like the Steele and Young have their work cut out for them this week, is there anything you'd like to say to them or those who may be watching?
Seifer: All I can say is to expect the same hard hitting fighting that you expect to see from me from week to week, and Steele I hope you are ready for a true fight, do not have your attention diverted to anything else that is happening in your life and focus on our match, Young all I say to you is what I have said before and that is don’t even bother turning up.
I walk off to the showers as hank finishes off the interview, feeling a bit better about the situation I smile as I think what is waiting for me at home.

With the interview earlier I walk to my hotel room and I don’t realise how late it is when I check my phone for the time, man Chels is not going to be happy, if she isn’t asleep she is going to be annoyed with me for not calling… Quietly I get into the Room and walk through to the bedroom first stopping in Shelly’s room and giving her a small kiss on her head as she slept, such a blessing on my life I can’t say how much she means to me, walking into mine and Chels bedroom I see she is asleep, thankful for my luck I strip down to my boxers and start walking towards the bed, but suddenly I feel something hit my foot and I start falling onto the bed and hit it with a soft thud waking up Chels.
Chelsea: Seifer?
Seifer: Yeah it’s me, sorry about that.
Sitting up on one arm she gazes over at the clock by the bed before pushing her hair back from her face.
Chelsea: Are you just now getting back from the gym?
Seifer: Yeah sorry Hank cornered me at the gym for an interview; on top of that the traffic was terrible across the main roads cause of the bad weather so I had to take some side streets to get back.
Chelsea: Well a call would have been nice, at least your home now though.
Yawning she rolls over facing me but keeps her head on the pillow as she looks up at me.
Chelsea: So how was the interview?
I get up and get into bed properly next to her getting comfortable on the pillow.
Seifer: It was about the same as normal, one of the good things about Hank is he is so predictable. Oh and I split another punching bag today.
Chelsea: Another one? Seriously? Babe you gotta stop showing off.
She lets out a soft laugh as i see her eyes trying to close again but she manages to keep them open.
Seifer: Hey it wasn’t my fault, the punching bags are different in America.
Chelsea: Yeah yeah, like that's the first time I’ve heard that one. I think you just like seeing the looks on people’s faces when you do that.
Seifer: I don’t know what you mean, I wouldn’t do that, and it was in the interview also.
Chelsea: Oh sure you wouldn't, let me guess after it happened you had that little smirk that you always get after you do something like that. What did Hank do?
Seifer: He kind of ignored it and carried on with the interview. Mind I could tell he wanted to laugh.
Chelsea: You truly are something else.
Seifer: I know, it’s how I got you to marry me remember.
Chelsea: That is true, I suppose in some part of my mind I found that attribute attractive.
Giving a small wink she smiles settling her head more comfortable against the pillow.
Seifer: Did you see the match I was put in this week?
Chelsea: Umm...it's against Steele and that Adam Young guy right?
Seifer: Yeah, have to say Steele should be an interesting challenge but Young is a joke, he is going to be one of the easiest people to beat in history... Well ever since Chris Storm.
Chelsea: I have to admit though I kind of miss that guy...but i must agree with you. Michael will be your biggest challenge of the two of them and i believe you can take him.
Seifer: So do I, both men are out of their depths with me, neither man doesnt understand what they are really getting themselves into.
Chelsea: Does anyone fully understand what they are getting into with you?
Seifer: Only one person.
Chelsea: And who might that be.
Seifer: Well it would be you when it eventually comes down to it.
Chelsea: That is true...although the same goes for you. I have to say if we end up facing each other it might be rather interesting...we can read each other so well, I don’t see us being able to get anything pass the other easily.
Seifer: You never know I may have to come up with something new.
Chelsea: Oh really now?? Someone planning to get sneaky over there?
Seifer: Maybe, have to say I don’t think I would be the only one to do so.
Chelsea: Well of course, you know I always have plans going into my matches, if it comes to it ours won't be any different.
Seifer: I look forward to seeing what you come up with, should be fun.
Chelsea: I must say a part of me kinda hopes it comes down to us, I believe you're the only person who will ever truly give me the strong challenge I need. You know me too well for it to be easy.
Seifer: The same with me, no other person knows me as much as you do, and I hope it comes down to me and you in the final because as I said before I think it could be a lot of fun, for the people watching and for us.
Chelsea: I couldn't agree with you more baby.
Leaning up slightly she places a soft kiss on my lips before laying back down smiling.
Chelsea: No matter what happens, in our match or anything else in this federation, just know I love you and always will.
Seifer: And I you, always with the whole of my heart. No matter who wins out of me and you it will be a win for the family.
Chelsea: I couldn't agree more. Until then though we just have to stay focused on the matches on hand.
Seifer: I couldn’t agree with you more.
We both carry on chatting for a while till she can’t stay awake any longer as she falls asleep in my arms I think about how lucky I am to have such a special person in my life.

What we call the beginning is often the end. And to make an end is to make a beginning. The end is where we start from.
