Cameras Fade In.
Scene opens up inside of a big hospital in PA. The cameras pan through the hospital for a while, as interesting things happen all around. Two orderlies are seen placing an old man in a wheel chair, and one orderly is seen talking to a doctor off in the distance. Then, all at once, several orderlies are seen rushing a patient, on a roll-away hospital bed, very quickly to the E.R. The patient disappears behind the double doors leading to the E.R., as the doors close. Then, Chuck Watson and Davey Boone are seen walking up to the front counter on that particular floor and they ask where Johnny Craven is being kept. They begin walking off down a hallway, as the cameras follow them. Just as they are reaching the door to Johnny Craven's room, a nurse walks out.
Orderly: I'm very sorry guys, but Mr. Craven is not to be disturbed right now. He needs his rest.
Davey Boone: How is he? Is it very bad?
Orderly: He's going to be just fine, but he definitely shouldn't be entering a wrestling ring anytime soon.
Davey Boone: Well, that's what they told me a week ago, but I got my ass up and out of the hospital bed and walked into WCF and entered that ring and helped Rich "The Xtreme One" Marciano win the WCF tag team titles. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! (Boone looks around and then speaks again) I'm sorry. I get a little too carried away sometimes.
Orderly: That's ok. But seriously guys, Mr. Craven desperately needs his rest. The thing about it is, Mr. Boone, is that when you were here, you never sustained a big concussion, if one at all. I wasn't ever assigned to you when you were here last week, so I'm just going by what I've heard the doctors yapping about. Alls I can say is that Mr. Craven is definitely in no shape to wrestle. But that's just me.
Chuck Watson: What's the verdict on his skull condition? I mean, from what Boone and I were told earlier, Craven may have fractured his skull. We were also told that he suffered a severe concussion as well.
Orderly: Well, when we first saw him, our first thoughts were that he suffered major damage to his cranium. But when we got him into the O.R., all we found were a few lacerations on the side of his cranium that had to be stitched up. The thing that worried us the most, is that he didn't seem to respond too well to our questions. We don't think he suffered a severe concussion, but it's very likely that he suffered a very mild concussion. We're going to do a cat scan and run some tests later this evening whenever Mr. Craven wakes up. We just want make sure that he didn't sustain any nerve damage or any kind of cell or tissue damage to the brain.
Davey Boone: It's odd how I was in here two weeks ago, and now, Johnny Craven's here this week. Ma'am, you need to understand that what happened to Craven will not go unjustified. I know you guys are doing everything you can for him, but I would like for him to be able to return for his match at XIII.
Orderly: It's a big risk. I really don't like Mr. Craven's chances either, with the condition he's in. We will try to have him out by this coming Sunday, but I'm telling you, it's a big risk. I certainly can't make you any promises. If it were me, I would say that he wouldn't be released until sometime next week. Now if you will excuse me, I have some paper work to fill out. You guys have a good day.
The orderly is seen walking away, as Davey Boone and Chuck Watson just stand there talking amongst themselves.
Davey Boone: Well, we've got to go get ready for Slam this Sunday. I need to call Rich.
Davey Boone pulls out his cell phone and dials what can only be assumed as Rich Marciano's cell number and he and Chuck Watson begin walking back towards the elevators, as the scene fades out.
